Yeah... Mine says about 50 minutes remaining on the download.

Geez, guys. It's estimating about ten minutes total for me here in Pennsylvania. Also using business-class internet. #thanksboss

I'm on gigabit fiber. I think it's their server.
Not sure why you'd be getting such better speeds, but I can guarantee that it's not my download speed that's the problem.

Yeah, that's totally weird, then.

I drew the short straw on connections to their server lol

I'm at work and the internet is slow here so I'm using my mobile hotspot. I started it about a half hour ago and it's at 75 percent. Almost there.

Finally on Oreo!

Google LG UP and go from there

Hard pass, multiple old entries and people saying older files are compatible with newer phones. I'll wait.

It used to be where you could download an update, put it at the root of your phone, reboot to recovery and manually install. Does that not work anymore?

I'll be updating once i get home..good news

Yeah, those were the good 'ol days.

If it's a KDZ, flash it with LGUP. Connect phone to your PC. Install LGUP.
See files attached to post #1 of this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/development/us998-lg-v30-market-us998-t3736910/page11
Read the instructions "Here's how to flash." You'll use the KDZ you just downloaded here.

thanks for reupping to google drive. BTW if anyone cares to verify the file here's the hash
MD5: D9A389F84A793B35AB8F3F98ABA2FE80
SHA-1: 430082F611935550C23EA8EF4402D4BFF02E4C99

Will this wipe the whole phone? I wanna avoid having to reconfigure everything. If so, does this mean the OTA version soon?

No it doesn't wipe anything, it's actually pretty quick and east

I just wanted to say thanks. I tried using LG Bridge, but that wasn't working. After some digging to get LG UP working, it flashed perfectly (other than my inability to choose "upgrade" over "refurbish" - but that's on me).
Anyway... Thanks for the upload.

[H]Lack of ROMS for SM-T321

I cannot find any development for the 3G version of the Pro 8.4
I bought one today and the standard bloatful ROM on this thing won't even allow me to use Google services... so it is quite useless.
Please point me in the right direction or tell me when a T-321 ROM or Recovery is going to be available.
Very surprised to see zero development for this which is obviously superior to the WiFi-only version.

Hi! I know 100% how you feel. I got a Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and there were 0 roms for it so I ended up creating the first one. I don't have the device which you have but I can create a rom for you (or at least try to). I can't guarantee if it will work or not but we can use trail and error if you are up for it. Let me know if that's cool with you.

awesome! Thanks alot. I do not have programming skills at all but I have been rooting and playing with roms for a few years now. I be more than willing to try any ROM you would be willing to create for my device.
My main problem now is finding the stock ROM since my device is currently stuck in the DOWNLOADING mode in "Cannot boot normally" state.

No worries: I actually am just finishing downloading the stock rom for your device. It's very slow speed from the website. So what I will do is once it finishes downloading I will upload it to google drive and give you the link so you can have a fast download.
As for the rom i'm going to have to do a little bit of research before making it so it will take me a bit. I don't mean to scare you or threaten but if it doesn't work please don't hold me responsible for any damage. Although I don't think anything bad will happen. Worst case scenario I have seen with my tablet is I end up flashing stock again.

Oh and also I need you to tell me what region your tablet is. Like I mean is it China or which one?

Yea, its the Chinese one. That is how I got into this mess...I can access google drive via my VPN service so it should work.
I know the risks involved in playing with custom ROMs.. thanks for the warning though. As long as I have a reliable, non-chinese stock rom it should be fine to test stuff.
thanks so much.

Oh...I actually need a non-chinese ROM.. Im sorry I didnt make that clear.
The CHN one probably doesnt have google account functionality. At least, the stock Chinese model I bought today doesnt. Maybe this is different. I will try. Otherwise, I might ask you to download the North American stock for me if it is not too much trouble.
Sorry for the hassle. What I need is to be able to add my google account and sync data/games.
I will sleep now (its 2:30am here). I'll update you in 7 hours or so on my progress. Thanks!

I tried the second firmware and it worked! Mission accomplished. Google Accounts and services are working (clash of clans has been synced!)
Thanks so much. PM me your bitcoin address and I will buy you a beer.
EDIT:
This firmware is doing alot of random restarts unfortunately :|
Better than nothing I suppose. I will look around for a fix.
Well I'm glad the firmware worked out for you. I'm going to start working on the custom rom today so hopefully I can get it finished by day after tomorrow. As for the bit coin thing, I'm 14 so no can do.
But if you would like to give me a little something how about a google play credit code?
Edit: just saw the thing about the restart issue. I'll look into it as I have no clue why it would do that on stock.

well most problems are caused by people trying to upgrade(who don't want to lose apps and data). and the kdz method is for some to hard
but if you insist:

I got g via the normal OTA method.
Weirdly today after doing nothing to fix it, the freezing hadn't happened once! Very odd

[Q] Can someone create a debrick.img for me (D851)?

Hey guys, I have everything that I need except the files to boot my phone. My phone has been hard bricked for 2 days already and attempting to clean the partition and the hardware bug on my phone. The phone is however unresponsive and cannot go into download mode. So if someone is kind enough and have/created a debrick.img, can you kindly put the img files so I can fix this phone.
I'll hook you up when I get a chance if nobody beats me to it. Having a debrick file on hand is a great idea. Just so other readers know its going to be late tonight when I get time so if you know how you should do it.

This is not for you, this is for recovering from a bad brick your problem is you tried to update to 10m via ota with twrp installed. You have a couple solutions to fix just not this.
Sure but this is for hard bricked meaning that the sd partition have failed and the phone wont turn on or go into download mode which cause the G3 to be unresponsive

best options:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3/general/fix-recovery-loop-twrp-computer-t2873386 (input everything EXACTLY you will still be on C)
or if that didn't work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3/general/firmware-t-mobile-lg-g3-t2818667 (read from top to bottom and you will know what your best option is for you)
short term fix:
Factory reset (I think this will work)
or
Install a custom rom via removable sd card or otg cable (If the best options fail at least you have a working phone until you figure it out)

Fingers are crossed! if win32diskimager doesn't seem to work try to write it to the card multiple times and if it keeps failing and you have access to linux dd will most definitely work.
If you come to the conclusion the debrick is bad ill make a bigger one and keep doing so until we decide this will work for you or not.
The files aren't working ( I think its me doing something wrong) but I attempt to fix it again in the morning EST. Sorry that I'm a nuisance and wasting your time D:

Am I in Trouble - MM update

I tried to sideload the update a few days ago and set my phone into a boot loop.i was able to use Odin and flash it back to 5.1.1 but now I am unable to install the security update that is available. I've tried to install it 3-4 times so far but after my phone restarts and says it is installing it quits once it gets to 25% and boots as normal. Then it comes up with a message that the install was interrupted. So I don't know what's going on with this update as I'm on a good wifi connection.
I tried again on a different network and when it got to installing 25% it gave me an install failed error once again.
Am I going to have the same issue when AT&T pushes out MM?

If I recall correctly from the Android Central thread, you had to odin reflash after an unsuccessful adb sideload attempt, like myself. The instructions in the firmware thread were to use only the AP file in odin. That's not correct, you have to use the AP,BL,CP, and CSC files to completely restore the official ATT firmware.
The same thing happened to me. The OTA failed at 25% many times. After reflashing using all the correct files,
I successfully received the OTA. I also had discrepancies in my settings which were resolved by this.
I'm not sure if that's what you did also, but if so reflashing as indicated above should have you back on track. Hope that helps!
Thanks, I'll try that because I only used the AP file in Odin.
I can't find a firmware any longer.
Never mind I got it.

I'm not skilled at Linux whatsoever so I'll just try to wait AT&T out.

OTA Firmware Update 10/26/16

Just received the October security update today.
https://www.att.com/devicehowto/tut...tep_KM1127994?make=Samsung&model=SamsungN920A
It feels good to have updates every month even though it is just a security patch.
can u give me a link download, im not in US
My Note 5 is trying to download the update. When I started the update, almost immediately the WiFi connection was lost. I then get a message saying that the download will resume but it doesn't. When I turn off the WiFi, I'm able to connect to the Internet again. When I turn the WiFi on, I'm able to connect to the network for a few seconds until the software update resumes and then I'm back to the beginning of this cycle.
Anyone else having this issue or a suggestion?
Outside of the USA so am Attempting to DL with spiderbot agent in Google chrome using
https://xdmd.sl.attcompute.com/agents/48536/1488/SS-N920AUCU3CPHA-to-S3CPJ1-UP
Getting access denied but can DL an older one ok
Is the filename wrong ?
Update: got the file in the end with this link ...
