Hi there,
I installde mentioned ROM from here as secondary (data slot) using DualBootPatcher. Unfortunately lock screen does not work so that I can only unlock it when a notification/message is shown where one can make a double click at.
Lock screen settings are always crashing as soon as they are activated.
Any hint/help is highly appreciated.

Depends on what you need. I installed the RRemix ROM, downloaded an appropriate GApps (pico from opengapps for arm64), managed to overcome the lock screen (e.g. by double tapping a shown notification) and also provided Root access. Afterwards I installed a terminal emualtion, started it and typed into it the 2 lines thankfully posted by kunarbale from above. That's all. Since then lock screen can be unlocked just normally.

ok the problem solved , but one more prolem is the pin lockscreen settings, when I open it , it keep force close, how ?

Don't know - did not yet check any further. Still using MIUI as main ROM since I did not yet find any way to get apps working seemlessly within both ROMs.

From how i remember , also this is an old try of nougat for rn 2, you can use an app from play store " Floatfy Lookscreen " and optional search and find the " crack " pro version . It will solve all the problems

Unfortunately I do not have time to manually fix the issues by myself, so for now, this is just a preview build of what CM12 is currently.

Instructions
0) Have a working modem if you are on F180
1) Transfer the zips to your internal SD, then enter recovery
2) Wipe /data, /cache, /system ("wipe data & factory reset", "mounts and storage, format /system")
3) Install cm-12-20141118-UNOFFICIAL-e975.zip, you might get a warning about insuccessful mount operation, but that's right, because the partitions are already mounted.
4) Install gapps-lp-20141109-signed.zip
5) Flash SU binaries: UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.16.zip
6) Reboot & have fun!

If you had a working modem before installation, call sound/quality should be fine.
I'm using an F180S (which had CM11 on it before), call quality is great, others could hear me & I can hear others

Try this: go to system/vendor/firmware and delete the libpn544_fw.so file and then reboot.

Link is fine currently, might have been temporarily unavailable.
Has anyone tried this on MultiRom? I used a build in the Sprint forums but was intended for e975 that is CM12. It worked great but did not boot a secondary rom.

Under "Public", where say "This folder is read only", click in the arrow button (right of the text), and download all folder... U download 3 zips and gapps, but i don't know other method.
EDIT: Gyebro, other issue is kernel crash when u open YouTube.

So recently i decided i wanter all my notifications to be displayed in Paranoid Androids Halo mode i achieve that by installing the following 2 apps

everything works fine, however i noticed that the (allow, install or grand on-screen buttons) dont work, whilst the cancel button works fine... e.g when installing an app i cant touch install but i can touch cancel or grans SuperSU access
i am currently running the stock OxygenOS 3.2.8
rooter with xposed installed.
p.s if i kill the Unique Controls (halo) app everything works as supposed to.
does anyone know any workaround this or a fix, i have uninstalled this 2 apps for the time beeing but i would really love to make this happen.
If you're on MM and have xposed, there is a module called NoScreenOverlay. This is exactly what you need. Check it out. Cheers.

You're right sorry, i forgot to mention i'm on MM.
I couldn't find the NoScreenOverlay module, i did however found a NoOverlayWarning Xposed module which helped i can istall apps and allow buttons work. However for some reason the SuperSU popup (deny/grand/check to ask again) dont work.

Hello fellow members, I finally unlocked and rooted my Mi A1 yesterday after using it stock for almost 3 months.
My first shocking experience was that my camera was not working when I needed it. On searching I found that Magisk causes the camera to delay when opening.
I came across this thread by @Pyrb and that helped me fix the issue to a great extent.
But it wasn't ideal for me to run the code on every reboot.
So I came up with this simple and straight forward app. As the name suggests it fixes the Camera on every boot. I made it during my recess at college today.
How to use:
Open the app once after installing it. Grant root access.
Now every time you reboot it will do it's magic on the background.
I will release the source code latest by tomorrow if anyone want's to help further.

This works wonders! It fixes the issue of having to set permissive for everything. Too bad we cant really hide the apk from the drawer.

There's no reason why it shouldn't. But no confirmation as I use Xposed too.

I haven't tried my hands on magisk modules yet. And since it was simply two lines of shell commands I didn't gave that much thought.

Why make selinux fully permissive just for the camera?
after a reboot its taking sometime before it gives the root permissions to apk. is there anyway we can configure it to do it during bootup or immediately after boot?

Don't use the downloads view.
Activate show internal storage from 3 dots menu. Then swipe from left. Select internal storage. Navigate to downloads folder. Install ftom there.

Can someone please provide P2's stock rom's applock.. I tried a lot of app locks but none stops the locked application from opening the all put an overlay on it! Only P2's stock applock was able to do so! Can someone create a flashable zip of it!
You can use the inbuilt app lock feature if you are using any lineage os based rom. No need to install or flash anything for this.

I'm on dotOS and it doesn't have applock inbuilt sadly!
Check under settings---> privacy----->... I m sure it should be there.

No, no modules are getting installed and its not a problem of region good lock is available in India. I have installed one hand operation+ and nice catch theough galaxy apps.

Good lock app is not installing and neither the modules except for one handed operation+ and nice catch
I got a confirmation from the samsung error reporting page that good lock is not supported on the device

I also tried the latest apks from apkmirror with my M30 (running Pie) and got the "app not installed" error. I guess they are still not supported on this device. Anybody else have better luck?

There is a way to install good lock modules on m Series. Those modules can be installed but not working properly. Some modules get Crash and some like task changer can open successfully but can't be enabled.
How i do install Good lock modules on m series device.
First Download Apk Editor from apkMirror(Dont download it from google play)
After install Apk Editor and open it and select (lets say.....) task changer.apk
and then just rebuild the app. (This can be found on Storage/Apk Editor folder).
then install it. then install nice lock to see those installed plugins.
You can try that method and I tried but it not working. Task changer not crash but it cant be enabled. I think its some kind of permission error. those permissions cant be enabled. So some of XDA Developer is made that work please let me know also.
I also noticed All Samsung M series Devices has Samsung One UI Core and Others has Samsung One UI Version. Those are different platforms. No Knox, No Secure Folder, No Bixby, No Goodlock aps.

Using lucky patcher, rebuild the apk with "resign with test signture" option. By this, you can install almost any apk but make sure the app is not already installed as system app (in that case, it won't install). Samsung Daily beta, App booster, Clock face, Dictionary app working by this method.
For app booster: use quick shortcut maker from play store or install galaxy labs apk using same resigning method).
