Answer #1: Yes, and I highly recommend netarchy's 3.7.5 for 1.47
Answer #2: LOOK HERE
i am trying the kernel now. Nice tips thanks. I didnt see the kernel was specifically for the 1.47 stock so i picked the general build. That good you think?

[Q] Specific information about flashing 4.3 DN3 on N7105 anyone? Got a bit confused!

Hey everyone, I tried to search different threads, lots of places, but could not find anything specific.
Can anyone help me on this thread? This one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2541860
I have a N7105
JediX19
OS 4.1.2
Boot Loader N7105XXDMC3
I always used ROM Manager to install new ROMs. No secret there, just download the zip to sd card, wipe everything, and boot the new ROM.
From what I read, this ROM needed the following:
- 4.3 bootloader
- MK5 Kernel
- TWRP to flash it
Can a good soul help me on the steps I should do coming from my current ROM?
Couldn't I just do the ROM manager way to flash this new ROM?
I did not get the steps necessary.
Sorry if there is a thread somewhere like this, I really tried to search. Thanks alot everyone.

[Q] A few questions about rooting.

Hello! This is my first post on this site, and I will probably stay here for longer. Maybe this has been asked a load of times or it's in the wrong section, but if so, I'm sorry about that. I've got a few questions.
1. Is it worth trashing the warranty? I heard that you can flash the stock ROM so nobody will know you fiddled with the tablet, but I'm not sure about that.
2. How exactly can I root? There are guides around the Internet, but I thought asking here is the best solution.
3. Where to get the stock ROM?
Thanks for answering my questions.

Hi
So many people have rooted their tablets trashing the warranty, so it is a personal choice. But actually rooting has many advantages like multiwindow function, using Titanium backup, debloating many useless applications, etc..
Regarding how to root your device here is a detailed guide for p-601 (3G+wifi version):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2671102
Regarding how to get a stock rom for your tablet, the best site is sammobile
www.sammobile.com
search inside it for the model of your tablet: p-600, p-601, or p-605 then choose the best rom for your tablet.
Also you can find custom pre-rooted rom here:

What does a custom kernel add? How would I install it?

I am referring to the one here: https://ruu.lalleman.net/HTC_M8S(QL_UL)/Kernel (Expert)/
I dint really understand what benefits/drawbacks it would give, could someone give me a run down on what it would do, how it benefits my phone, downsides and also how to install it?

Question Official download link for stock MIUI?

Hi there!
After having bad experiences with multiple custom ROMs, I finally decided to go back to the stock ROM. Problem is, I can't find any official download link. All links I find are hosted on third-party websites such as xiaomifirmwareupdater.com or others, and I don't want to install the ROM from an unofficial source.
So, does someone know the official way to download the stock ROM and flash it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you search in XDA?
It just got an update, you should see it on the first page.
Official way to flash: use built-in updater to update ROM zip should be the easiest way.
You're talking about https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/miui-updates-tracker-poco-f3-mi-11x-redmi-k40-alioth.4263137/ ?
I don't know how but I didn't see it at first glance ^^'
Thanks
