Im thinking of either the Official Samsung Book Case or one of the belkin cases.
Any reviews or pros/cons of the official case? I bought a cheap one from ebay, but I haven't received it yet, so I'm thinking of buying this case or another quality case.
Looks like an awesome case. But even with the 30% off, I think I'm going to pass.
I bought a similar case for my iPad. And liked at first. But I often took the tablet out of the case. Eventually I just got so lazy I stopped using the case all together and just use a sleeve instead and get out a foldable stand when I need it.
get the keyboard dock and a neoprene sleeve ;p

I'm getting it because I use a big satchel designed for a 13" laptop to carry it out of the house. I probably will not use the case at home, and use the case when I'm out and about.

That was my attack plan. Keyboard dock and the Samsung sleeve. Best of both worlds.

That was also my plan until I started hearing about the keyboard lag. I've been using swype more, and I'm starting to like it. I also like thumb keyboard as well.

any ideas on good case?
i want it to be slim, yet provide maximum protection (i carry my kindle in my backpack, so it's not safe )
i want to have stand functionality, so i can convert case into a stand, say i'm on lunch and i want to watch hulu or i'm on airplane and dont want to hold it for 9h
preferably all that but not for $99, cases that sold for that much is just ridiculous... i dont really like spending $40-$50 either...

The S3 will be my first android phone worth putting a case on. My MOTO DX2 is a beast and never needed one.
I dont like cases on my electronics. Ive had good luck for many years though. Never broken a screen on a smartphne.
Since I dont like cases I saw these sleeves and had to have one. They are the same material as maserati and porsche interiors. As a car junkie i couldnt pass.
Ordered one in grey for my white S3. It should be a cool look.
anyone had experience with these? or sleeves in general? Like? Dislike?

Its a piece of cloth sewn together for over $30. Thats the way I see it. I dont see how its any more or less functional than the $10 ones on ebay.
But I'm not saying they are bad, just saying I wouldnt get one!

purchased for $18 at a kiosk in the midle of a mall w boostmobile plastered all over it, everyone that sees the case says it sucks and that my phone can fall right out. to me it feels like the ph
one can fall out the case but i have had it for 3 days and have yet to have the phone fall out, i dont think i will be holding the case on the edges and upsidedown any time soon.
for a total of $23 i got the case plus screen protector
I have a $50 radioshack giftcard but did not want to spend it on a $55 hard case and i could not find any other options without having to purchase a case online.

you should have purchased a case online. could have saved yourself $15, and got a really really really really really nice case...(relative to the one you got anyway)

i know i know it looks bad, i had no choice i payed $400 for the phone basicly because of my credit with att so i was not about to let $400 of my savings get scrached up..
since i purchased the universal ps3 controller clip im thinking about using this case with the clip and purchase another one for normal use.
any ideas or suggestions? i like the style the htc one has and dont like having a case covering it but buying a clear case is like not having a case because no one knows its there.

Not quite sure what you're asking here. Are you saying you like clear cases because it keeps the phone's original look...our are you saying you don't like them because no one will know you have a case? Your use of but in there makes the sentence a bit weird
Assuming the former, checkout the links I provided above. It's a tpu case so it offers decent protection. Also checkout the kayscase. It's hard plastic so not as good protection wise...but it's totally clear

I think hes just asking for suggestions and he merely pointing out that he doesnt like cases because it hides what the device looks like, but with a clear case you can see thru it and it doesn't hide the devices appearance so it's probably not out of the question for him option wise.
Personally, I myself do not like cases either. Why buy a nice fancy looking phone just to hide it?
A clear case is a nice alternative as are full skins which are my personal choice.

I didn't even think about price point that's a good point. in my experience nyko isn't exactly the highest quality. but it does get the job done when there's nothing else. I also pre-ordered an official case. and a lid.
If anyone wants to sell a case to ship to uk at a resonable price i would be interested.
When are these Nyko accessories coming out? Any resources I say mention this summer which is about to end but I can't find any info on them on the nyko website
