Good job, S3 Neo android oreo =)

Can somebody actually try that rom?
Because I don't look at stuff you guys do as consumers.

Updated bug list
Next build will include magisk installer to fix settings crashes.

report bug
-flashlight
-displaying open tabs
-developer options crashes
-offline charging
-Time and Thermal sensor
-occasional red lines
-fm radio
-when I change wallpaper, the home screen becomes transparent to me?
-heat a little too much (video youtube)
other than that it is very beautiful ! Good job

Hi @Thargorsson, thank you very much for your work, you're like an angel of the skies!
After quick look at 8.1, I want to add some bugs to already mentioned ones:
1) flashlight doesn't work (works in last 7.1 build);
2) date and time don't save after phone restart as in 7.1 (I'd already wrote about it https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75427373&postcount=607).

thanks guys

Ok thanks, displaying open tabs IS working the shortcut just changed in los15.1. Long press the menu button to open it.
Thermal sensor and heat production are obviously connected to each other:silly:
Wallpaper bug seems weird... couldn't reproduce it so far.
Thanks for the review.

So, in the OP of this ROM, you actually talk about the need of the latest baseband. But in the past few days, I also heard many people talking about the need to update the bootloader. So is baseband actually the only necessary thing that needs to be updated? I ask cause I think that many people still need this update and if it's only the baseband, one could update only this through Heimdall instead of flashing whole stock and having to re-setup everything afterwards. I haven't tried it this works yet, but I read about it and it seems way more easy and efficient.

sorry....

@Thargorsson Have you tried to merge ril drivers from S5 Oreo. They work with S3 Neo as they use the same RIL chip.
If baseband shows unknown, maybe radio, baseband drivers from S5?

Hi dev,
If I understood correctly, this version of pixel rom has Google apps installed? Is it possible to provide a version without Google apps and services? I am very eager to try this, but I'm looking to use a non-Google rom.
Many thanks

Ya! This is a non google ROM until you install gapps. You can surely try the ROM
Awesome
Wow you're awesome! Thanks so much for this, I was eager to get my hands on Kit Kat (and for that matter, anything 4.1+)
Some things don't seem to be working, but I don't need them because I had never seen them before:
the Dark Pixel option
Halo doesn't show up ever
DashClock FCs everytime.
I think I saw some more stuff, I'll be happy to report them if it helps you!
Anyway, so awesome
Even the ****ing font on this renders better than it did on Sony's custom ROM.

Yeeeees!
This ROM is really nice for a first build. So far it's pretty stable for a pre-Alpha build (if that's what you want to call it) at around a rate of 1 soft-reboot/minute (basically reboots every time the UI stutters or lags). Other than the soft-reboots, the ROM is extremely fluid and flies throughout apps and the UI (on the Edge variant).
As to what IS working:
- RR Customisations
- HW key customisations an backlight control
- Display profiles
- Headphone Jack audio output
- App installs
- WiFi
As to what is NOT working:
- TOUCHSCREEN DOES NOT WORK ON THE S7 FLAT (SM-G930F/FD/etc.)
- SD Card (works partially through Solid Explorer if given root privileges)
- RIL (doesn't detect the SIM card at all)
- Headphone jack volume output is too low, so listening to music is impossible
- Camera
- Fingerprint Scanner
- Night Light
- Etc. (Feel free to add on if you find more bugs)

From one huge accomplishment (LOS 13) to the next!
Once again, thanks for all the work you and your team put in this!
If/Once calls, SMS, network, wifi work fine (those are my essentials because that's my one and only device), I could as well flash this (instead of LOS 13) and help with logs and testing if that would help.
Tiny correction for OP, device number is missing a "3" (i9301I) just to avoid confusions...
Ill give camera fix a try. :b

So, Bluetooth being the main difference from LOS 13? Nice! I'm going to fully charge it and flash.
Edit:
1st try: Setup Wizard keeps stoping just after Google Services page when I press "NEXT" to begin looking for updates. Will try reflashing and update.

Weird, I had no such issue and I did use WiFi during setup. I only had the open gapps issue (setup wizard was crashing). Did you experience that issue with Beans Gapps btw?
For me up to now the overall experience is OK.
I can confirm known bugs though. (Bluetooth, camera, flashlight, red borders flickering).
Also, I tried to take some logs and the logcat seems way more active than usual, is that due to the Bluetooth failing over and over?

working fine for me no bugs
So far no issues. Smooth and fast. Still need to check the Bluetooth car audio, the test version back on the unofficial thread caused problems for my 920f. Glad it's Official!
Sent from my Galaxy S6 using XDA Labs
How about the battery life? Are the updates OTA?
I will install it soon.

The only bug still persisting around live display (6500k crash is fixed) is the settings not being remembered when the display is turned off/back on. To repeat this, set the display mode to night only and something like 1800k so it's a very yellow screen. Turn the screen off and back on, colour temperature will be reset. Turn it off again and back on, and it remembers the night setting. Back off and on again, it's forgotten, back off and on again, it's back to remembering.
Wow, an official ROM for the S6 - What a time to be alive! Congrats and thanks a lot!
Great news! Is it true, that there will be an version for edge (G925) as well?
Great news official... this Rom works on G920I?
Edit: Error while install from twrp recovery.
Well done @U99Dev! Is it somehow possible to enable dual sim on this? Mine is G-920FD. Everything is working fine except my other sim.
If you need help with logcat or anything just let me know. I'm ready to help!

Yes I can confirm the issue.

920F after Wipe. The Whatsapp voice message error persists. This was fixed in the RR of macs18max. If you make a phone call, and the answering machine is on it, the system crashes after a short time. Sometimes the system just hangs up. If you want to take multiple photos at Whatsapp in chat, the camera crashes. When you have finished a call, you have to restart the device to make another call. Please add the possibility to see the charging voltage and the charging current on the lock screen. Otherwise really cool rom!

I guess this one is built particularly for G920F variant? so, I wouldn't recommend flashing it. But If you want to flash it anyway then make a nandroid backup first and then go to recovery>wipe>advanced wipe>select data/cache/dalvik/system and wipe. Then just go over to the storage and flash this rom. Done.
snapchat videos don't send
this is a bug present in most of AOSP roms, snapchat videos don't send, there was only one version of resurrection remix I tried that could send snapchat videos
G920I device here.
The ROM is very very stable but I can confirm the problem with audio recording on WhatsApp. The night light is also randomly turning off.
I would like to ask it's possible to turn on fast charging?
Can't find this setting on battery menu and the battery seems to be charging veeeeery slowly (probably has to do with kernel).
Battery issues and VOLTE
I am running this ROM on my galaxy s6 for the past 2 days and the battery life is really bad please look into it.
I'm from India and our network call Jio requires VOLTE feature. Can u release a VOLTE patch for Galaxy S6 SM-G920f??
Does this work on the G920W8?

Supported Devices
SM-G920F: Only permanently and completely supported device, because we don't own another one
Any other SM-G92[0/5]-device: May be supported, but I cant guarantee it. Please don't keep asking why we don't support your model, it's that simple: We don't own it, so how can we support it? Right, we can't. You can help us to fix issues, but we need a full set of logcats default ([adb] logcat -d) and radio ([adb] logcat -d -b radio)+ the kernel-log (/dev/kmsg). You may use different apps, but without those three files, we can't do much...
SM-G928x: Not supported, will probably never be
Possible Problems
Problem: Problems with modem like dropping/slow/slowly connecting data connections, missed calls/SMS
Solution: Try to update your device's baseband/modem to the latest available version. If there are still problems, report this bug to the developers

Thank you, wasn't expecting it very soon. I tried the previous build which was working flawlessly except these known bugs like Camera, GPS.
Has anyone tried today's build (16th Sep)? How's the camera?
Sweet ?
Will install tomorrow and check it out
You are fast and big, Lukas, thanks man
Downloading this as I type....does it support dual sim?
Hi, been trying out this ROM for a few hours now, few things I've noticed:
1. Changing clock position on status bar wont work (System - Status bar);
2. Network traffic monitor also not working (System - Status bar);
3. SELinux is disabled;
4. Overall animations feels a bit sluggish (lagging)?;
5. Limited camera settings on stock camera app;
6. LiveDisplay and Style tabs under Display not working (LineageOS Settings keeps stopping);
7. Adaptive brightness keeps resetting after restart or after longer deep sleep;
8. Alarm not working, for example, I set it to 8:30 and it does nothing then, alarm starts when I get to the phone, say 9:30.
9. Backlit keys turns always on when touching the screen, it would be awesome to get them lit only when touching them directly.
Otherwise really promising ROM, definitely going to keep testing this rom.
Huge thanks to developer, awesome work!

Most of the linage features are not implementet yet and you should try using the Google alarm app but I never had problems with that anyways
Any screenshots?
Hello,
I'm on the 9/16 build since yesterday. Really great, smoother than the Oreo's buillds. Congrats! No lags, no sudden boots, no app crashes. For now.
Just wondering, does anyone knows how to activate the navbar? When I search it with the key word in settings, it appears but when I enter the menu (Buttons as it seems), there's nothing related to the navbar.
And does anyone else have troubles with the notification bar? It keeps scrolling down everytime I press the home button ou swipe up to get to my apps drawer.
Regards,
Charles
EDIT: the status (notifications) bar issue was due to Nova launcher. Solved now.
add qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 in build.prop works for me

Yes, you can. Works fine.
Is there someone Experience battery drain while screen is off??
Anyone knows how to turn off hardware key light?
Main problem I have noticed on a G920F :
- The phone is overheating.
- The battery die so fast.
- The animations are not fluids : many lags.
- Stock camera too limited.
Any chance of fixing volte?
Or its impossible to fix it.
