Hi,
So I have an XA1 G3112 that I would like to root, it is running on Android Oreo 8.0 and version 48.1.A.0.129 and the bootloader is unlocked. As it's many years since i last rooted a phone I'd like some kind of guide and also would like to know which files and softwares that I should use. I've tried to search these forums but I don't quite know what to use.
If there is anything else you need to know to get accurate files and guide just let me know.

Greetings. My name is Pedro, i am peruvian and have recently bought an lg v500 (non google play) wich i rooted to use some programs, like battery repair.
Now what i want to know is about upgrading to lollipop, since it seems that lg will NEVER update the plataform. Of course if i do so, i will need to know exactly what to do, specially since this is my only access to the internet.
Can you help me? I dunno much about flashing but i just wanna learn.

Do NOT use that method/tutorial if you want to keep root; you will loose root when you flash the KDZ.
Instead, install a custom recovery ( read into what that is first) and then flash the rooted flashable zip of v30a.

Hello, I'm a new user of this community. I was searching for threads that could answer my question and no one was the indicated to do so. So, as you can read in the title, I was wondering how to unlock the bootloader of my phone, because I want to install a custom ROM to change my Android OS to another newer (i.e. 5.1.1). I read some methods that use the Android SDK, but none of them for my type of Alcatel. I came here because I know this is the correct place to find the correct answer.

I've been asking in some threads, but I couldn't get a clear answer, so I'm hoping someone can answer me this.
I have a Chinese Moto Z Play (XT-1635-03 variant) and I've been running a custom 8.1 ROM for a while. However, I feel like going back to stock Oreo and sticking with it.
The question is: will I brink my device if I flash the Oreo image in this link?

I know it can be installed in any software channel, but I'm not really sure if it can be installed in another model.

Hi, funtouchOS on my vivo is really starting to annoy me, and after looking online there doesnt seem to be any custom firmware compatible to it. Is there any universal firmware (stock android????) or lesser known custom roms, or even a possiblilty that a rom for a similar phone will work? Sorry if i sound like an idiot, im pretty new to this and can't find any straight answers online helping me. Any help will be greatly appreciated
