Just go into fastboot and flash a miui fastboot rom.

Its working well, i dunno what was that guy talking about :/ its just "newer" twrp with skin, isnt it ?

My small advice for a good head start wud be to .. start opening up the framework and system UI apks ..
helped me in my ROM development .. u can make the UI better .. u can see it in my
upcoming ROM build
currently Mine is more of SGS 2 Look
got the SGS 3 system dump .. so gonna work on it to get a better UI
my other advice is ... download the S3 system dump .. and get the UI better

Someone else will just post it again, seems to be a problem with XDA Xiaomi users where they can't search before posting. This the 3rd one now I think.

I do not, I see too many issues with the different TWRP recoveries that are around at the moment. I think I will wait until an official one shows up.
