Hi,
When we get notifications on MIUI Mi 6, it shows on status bar and shows numbers on the app icons. But when we clear the status bar notifications, the numbers on the app icons are cleared also. On iPhone you only clear the status bar notifications and app icon numbers stay, so you don't miss any alerts.
Is there an option or a way to change this?

I was wondering if there was any weather widget which would stay on notification area (a bit iOS like) ...Did manage find a few apps which did it, but all of them need to have the temperature icon on my status bar, which i dont like....
is there any way i could get the weather in notification without adding on the status bar icon.!

AOKP rom has a simple weather text in notification header.

Hi guys,
I was just playing around with themes and customizing my homescreens and what not. However, I was wondering if there was a way to display all the default information from the status bar (like wifi/3g/4g connectivity, sound profile, recent notifications) in an app shortcut because I would like to hide the status bar?

The key feature in CNA and other ROMs over stock for me is sound profiles. I'd love to have the current profile displayed in the status bar, a widget, notification drop down, etc.

Coming from iOS? By default, Android does not show notification badges over app icons, although there are some launchers (like Nova) that do have this option. Notifications are shown in the notification tray when you pull down from the status bar. From there, you can interact with them.

Thanks , but in samsung icon notifcation work i think like you said there is alot of program coming with rom of samsung , but after all many thanks for answer
Does anyone know if you can put your notifications to show up on the app icon?? All my notifications just show up in the status bar. I'd rather have it set where the little circle with the number that shows up on the app. I've looked everywhere in the settings but can't find if you can change it.
I don't think so with the stock launcher. I know Nova launcher does it with Tesla unread notification add on.
Android relies on heads up/on top notifications.

By default it is white. Some apps, like Textra, you can change and control the color, and Textra works at doing that.
Anyway to change any of the other icons to show their default color like Gmail etc for a notification in the status bar?
