Great !
Another ROM for our device.
Please add some screenshots if possible
Thanks Dev !

Isn't toxyc OS reiteration of ViperOS? after it's discontinuation..
Also, could you post some screenshots in your 2nd post.. Good work btw

REVIEW
Found a lot of bugs.
1. APN isn't automatically set after flashing, at least for Jio, so can't use internet. Couldn't even search online to set proper APN because data ain't working, had to revert to previous ROM nand backup.
2. Phone app says device not supported.
3. Messaging app is constantly crashing.
Bugs 2 & 3 may not be faced if using gapps, I'm not sure, I don't use gapps. But these apps should work without gapps.
BTW thanks dev, keep it up, looking forward to bugs getting fixed.
Boot animation is super cool.

APN problem could be due to missing list of APNS..
Try This-
NAME-JIO 4G
APN- jionet without any capital letter or space
BEARER- tick LTE and untick UNSPECIFIED
Keep the rest as it is..
Save and activate it
LTE should start in a couple of seconds
Phone app should also start..

There are also a few more settings like MCC, MNC. So I'll wait for fix in upcoming builds. Phone app is already working, but I'm seeing that unsupported device popup at start.

Also look forward to the stock messaging app bug, it force stops if not using gapps, another user reported the app works fine with gapps installed.

Info
First of all i would like to state i do not own this device so i rely on testers.
This build does boot with the included prebuilt kernel but i would recommend flashing USBHost's fire and ice kernel
Caf Based
Bugs
V4A does not install the driver for now
Contacts has white on white issues Fixed
Ambient display does not work Fixed
Vibrate on touch does not work Fixed
Initial camera launch may fc but 2nd time will be fine
Awesome...been waiting for a feature-filled 5.0.2. Will try now
Sent from my Nexus 9 using XDA Free mobile app
Booted just fine with Fire-Ice kernel and 64bit ARM Gapps from lollipopolooza thread (took about 10 minutes to get to welcome screen so be patient).
It's snappy and solid. Only issues I could find are listed in post 3.
Edit: contacts, vibrate on touch, and ambient fixed in 1/9 build
Sent from my Nexus 9 using XDA Free mobile app
Flash went fine with TWRP 2.8.3 recovery. However, upon booting I got System UI force closing maybe because I have encryption forced?
I flashed both stock and fauxkernel and gapps in other rom but no go. System UI fc'ing loop prevented me to enter my passcode to decrypt the /data partition.
Cheers another new ROM!
Nice. I'll test the rom later today = )
I use this on my N6 and love every minute of it....
I found a workaround for the white on white Contacts problem.
Download https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95832962473400203 and extract the Contacts.apk.
Rename existing system/priv-app/Contacts.apk to Contacts.bak and inject the one above, set perms to rw-r-r and reboot.

Hey, love that some of the big time AOSP ROMs are making it to this device.
What is the battery life like on this ROM? At stock, I can get a good 4-5 hours of battery life with heavy use (web browsing, gaming, etc).
Also, weird off topic question, which model of the N9 is flounder, and which is volantis? I have the 32gb wi-fi only version, which is it?

thanks. my big question is do I have a founder or a volantis? since they're both the wifi only model, does it matter? if I have a volantis and flash this flounder rom, will it cause me problems?
i have the 32gb wifi only version in black, and it was one of the first models released, if that helps.

Battery - too early to tell. ROM just came out. But if it helps: I had about 95% yesterday when I flashed LS, had about 3 hours of SoT and casted to Chromecast for a few hours and still had 30% left this morning
Flounder/Volantis - short answer. They are the same thing. They are both names for the wifi only version. volantis is the google factory image name, flounder is the rom dev's name
Love it

Awesome with more Roms for this great device!

Thanks for the find on the contacts.apk. It works great. I used the fire & ice kernel also; Except for other items shown in post 3, everything is working. Great job op and LS team.

I also had the same issue. I've gone back to stock, rerooted, and it still came back. I'm going to try swapping out all of the variables, kernel, gapps etc. and will report back.

Sadly, I dont have access to a laptop/pc at the moment. This phone is my only access to the internet and at the same time i use it for work.
Thankfully, i had some spare time a while ago. Did a nandroid backup.
1) Installed viperOS
2) installed logcat apps from playstore
3) start capturing logs
4) press on/off data toggles for a couple of times
Unfortunately, no logs were captured. Perhaps the app requires root priv.
5) flashed magisk 12 stuck on bootlogo
6) flashed supersu but nothing happens

Looks great, i'll try yo test as soon i get home thanks foto the new rom
Thanks for this. I loved viper on both HTC phones I owned (M7 & M8). I purchased licenses to unlock features to support the developers awesome work. I'm rebooting to TWRP as soon as I'm done typing this post.!!!
---------- Post added at 01:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:44 AM ----------
After installing when it booted to the first screen after the splash screen it pops up with an error saying that setup wizard has crashed. After a couple of trys I figured out to not click wait or terminate. The screen will go completely black. Less then a minute later it popped up to start setup again and I was able to proceed as normal into the ROM.
This rom is great, loved it on other devices but does anyone know if we will get oreo for the Robin in any shape or form?

You're confused with something. ViperOne is not the same as ViperOS. ViperOne was only for HTC devices and with SenseUI. ViperOS, on the other hand, is based on LineageOS.
I had no problems with the setup. Has anyone had the same experience?

Everything set up fine for me. Only issue I've had so far is with Lawnchair Launcher, not the ROM itself. (Launcher crashes whenever I select Enable Weather under Pixel Style in settings. )

No I had no issues setting up, I have however had the device freeze up on me a couple times and reboot so I'll probably be switching to another rom later today. Other than that it felt like a fairly smooth rom.
I've been using this rom for a few days now and i have to say I'm surprised with its responsiveness and stability.
Great job guys. Thank you!
Go Brasil!

You have to decide if you want to use the Viper color engine or substratum. If you want to use substratum you have to set the settings of the Viper color engine to default.
So I flashed the rom and it is quite smooth but, I noticed the security patch level is grossly out dated. Other than that nice rom. For now I think I will stick with Omni or CrDroid.

I see LOS has made the changes but not done a build yet. They also appear to be making some kernel and device changes with the camera and zram. Some of those are already in your kernel I think?

Here's some small answer to your questions or just answer to questions.
Code:
Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.
Q: Do you have any Telegram/G+ Group to chat and share stuff of the ROM?
A: Check the first paragraphs, you'll find it

If something doesn't work please let me know.
After a super long hiatus Bootleggers 3.0 is finally here! Our musical codename is Frumoasa.
The 3.0 update in general
This update is more like adding some stuff that users requested though all this time, some of them didn't made the cut but features like accent color on QS, Brightness control by pressing the statusbar, Flashlight on call and call recording is merged. We added two themes,as we said before and also, added some customization to Launcher3, the At a Glance widget is cool but the Google Sans font may get annoying for a while, so we added fonts to tweak it at your taste, or even use the System default one, added the possibility to set it to uppercase because some fonts looks cooler on uppercased text, and also spacing in case you want the A E S T H E T I C out on your home, and don't loose the accuracy of the Google Weather info. So hope this update worths the wait. Also, talking about updates, we should give you an update related to Android P and our plans.
Quick Notes (Important)
You will get Vendor image mismatch at the first boot. Don't worry it is not an issue. Just tap okay and the warning will go away.
The Battery Life Will Improve In Following Recharge Cycles
I suggest you to do a clean flash from 2.2
This is the Finaly Oreo build next one will be PIE if I am successfully able to boot it up and fix the bugs.
Sorry for skipping the 2.3 cause Camera error took time to fix. Enjoy Thanks.

You should get permission before using a custom kernel as prebuilt. It's not a rule but this is what other rom builders do to respect kernel maker.
By stable do you mean that it doesn't have the oreo specific bugs that all other roms are suffering from?

What do you expect from a ROM called Bootlegger? ?
But, yeah, in all seriousness, permission should have been obtained.

From a quick check:
- no 'ChopChop' (not a bug)
- reboot once, to get Video playing
- OpenCamera: flash is not synched; preview does not work
Otherwise good for me, and pretty complete ...
(forgot to check audio in calls)
Chop chop does not work.
Double twist to camera works.
Flash works but not synchronized, thus rendering the flash useless.
System UI seems laggy at times (using a moto g4 plus 3 gb RAM variant, nightlight is off too).
Frostbitten kernel is being used.
Calls are working fine.
Yet to test battery life.
Default font looks nice :3
Using gapps mini.
Some screenshots
Yet another buggy 8.xx rom. ??
Fix bugs before or wait for it.

Can you make a 32 bit version please?
Nice ROM, just reporting a small bug: I selected to be asked everytime I make a call, but it's not happening. The phone simply uses sim 1.

Awesome LG v30 Telegram Group
If i forgot anyone else i'm sorry, PM me to add you to the list :highfive:

If anyone is having issues with new kernel (freezes, random reboots, no data/wifi)
Plz flash this kernel:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/135b3Xt9IssT83CFtEzMzkg6USperRkp9/view?usp=drivesdk
It is Orion_WIP3_2 kernel in a AK2 (Anykernel2) zip. (Thanks @JohnFawkes)
You can just flash this zip as a regular zip..
So no more ".img" files that need to be flashed in boot partition.
This also means that you don't need to reflash Magisk after flashing a kernel!
As always "Encounter bugs? = Logcat" cant fix stuff based on a description of what happened. :good:
*Reserved2*
Thread needs some updating, will do that soon
Update
Device Changelog:
*Added H932 ROM.
*Changed to orion_II_WIP3_2 Kernel (EAS)
*New DAC stuff, thank @SGCMarkus for that :highfive: :highfive: (use Ainur magisk module for better audio experience)

Really enjoying this; working from flash. H933
Thanks for this!
Is this usable on the current bootloader/modem for the H932 (20s)? I know there is issues with sound not working on the last few updates with AOSP ROMs. Thanks in advance.

Not to sure actually. It has the Orion kernel atm which had fixed sound issues before, but I might update room again in a few days a Markus has pushed some new changes
Why there is no sound preset in settings?
Running this for 2 days in my H932 clean flash.
I haven't had any FC or rebooting.
SafetyNet passed with out needing to change fingerprint.
I haven't had the fingerprint reader hardware error a single time.
Audio is a decent loudness.
However it takes all my apps an extremely long time to launch which is a little annoying and I don't know how to fix it.
No using any Magisk modules
Using the kernel that can with the ROM
This is my only issue thus far
Any help would be appreciated

Hello to my H932 users on this ROM. I am currently on Havoc and I'm only having a few issues on the ROM. Those issues are, the V4A audio mod not working as it did on other ROMs, and sometimes the battery drops dramatically, and other times it doesn't. That being said, I'm getting the urge to flash again; and from what I've read here so far this ROM seems to be stable with good audio.
If any 932 users can tell me about battery life, and if they're using audio mods, and how the ROM is performing overall, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Nate
Did BL remove 'force expanded notifications' ?
I can't for the life of me find it in this build.
I wiped cache , Dalvik cache , system , data and flashed the rom and gapps.
The rom very stuttery, couldn't use it at all.. The same happened with lineage OS.. But aosp based roms work smooth on my phone.
I have h930ds , did i do something wrong?
Anyone on h933 or h931 having issues with system UI auto redrawing and phone screen turning off randomly?
