Yes Amazon still holding this product. I am planning to release on ebay or somewhere

Just bought this, going to see if it works. Incredible fail on Google's part never actually being able to satisfy a 2-in-1. Should have just included a friggin' 3.5mm headphone jack.

It's not dangerous to the device to do both?

Good news: I found the one that would work as an external battery for the Xoom.
It has a 12v/1.5A output and looks to have the same tip of our xoom charger!

To be honest I don't see a small enough pin there.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Motorola isn't even listed. Etc. Doesn't always mean it'll be included.
You DO see it puts out 16-19 volts, right?
IOW, don't buy it.
I have yet to find an extended battery that works with the Xoom, either the pin connector is too big or the output voltage is too low, I have bought these and they dont work either so I doubt the one you listed will

The weird thing is that I saw the same device on other website which has a pin in the old nokia chargers size .. the pin may be not included but you may need to buy it separately!

FYI, the device is listed on different websites and sometimes they mention Motorola and sometime they not .. it's not our issue since this is considered as a universal external battery.

The thing is .. if it could charge the hucking laptops and even cellphones then why it wouldn't work for our xoom?
I mean isn't there a way to convert the 16v into 12v ??

The ones you've listed are usb based output which barely gives 5v and we indeed need 12v.. but the one that I asked about could provide 16 to 19 volts and that's the difference.
I hope we find an external battery for our Xooms .. cuz I'm working on a project for the xoom that needs an external battery (hint: hand made keyboard docking such as the transformer )

Not efficiently at the 18W that's needed to fully replicate the charger. Plus that, I suspect the charging plug sets the output voltage (kind of like what the Kensington chargers do).

[WIP] Wireless Charging (Homemade, Cheap)

Hello everyone,
Im going to make an wireless charger for the Galaxy Note
I will be using this : http://dx.com/p/194469
To make an wireless Charger, I will be getting an Hard mousepad, (one with foam, then a layer of plastic) and will take the plastic off, make space for the charger, and for wires. i will be connecting it via USB (hope it works)

I will be using this : http://dx.com/p/222256
To make the galaxy note charge
Now how?
Im saw this video on how someone made it work himself, and i though i can do that too, without having wires out of the back
Im using the same method but i will be making the wires go to the side of the device (next to the battery) and make it look like the galaxy note 2 wireless charging "port"
I will be doing wires along the side of the battery (under the cover ofcourse)
(dont mind this pic,its not mine, its from google. (dafuq, nfc?))
This is a cheap solution, i hope it works, I yet have to recieve all the products before i start to work, i will be updating this when i recieve products

I know that the box will have one, but i need more to have around home and office. The official Google store have them for 9$ BUT THEY SHIP ALMOST by END OF NOV. now i was wondering if anyone knows of some third party extensions that are available on Amazon or so.. And if anyone knows what specs are we looking for in such converts so we search for the right ones..
Feedback after using it, the mic fails most of the timea (30th November)
It needs to have the DAC in the adapter. Don't know what that is called. Look for digital adapter?
although you should wait for it to come at the end of nov
there is some in amazon but mostly bad or untasted
the adapter it self-have a dac & amp so all the sound process handled by the adapter
so if you pick it a bad one it will sound bad
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...sprefix=usb+c+to+3,aps,359&crid=2C6833WQKUZDR
Yes, I'm waffling on this whole removing the headphone port thing. Now you have some choice in the DAC you get and can change it if you don't like it, opens the market for some that actually care about good sound to make a good DAC dongle. I'm on the lookout for something to pair with my triplefi.
Also now the headphone port comes out the bottom of the phone where it belongs.

I agree, Googles will be the first choice, but a month and a half after releasing the phone for it to be available, it doesn't make sense.. Hence looking for a solution during that time..

In general I'm disappointed in USBC. This was supposed to be great but all these options are damn confusing. The connector is capable of so much but there is no standard to search for capabilities and compatibility.

Exactly my point.. Lets see
In 2020
When you want a new adapter or headset or charger or any usbC accessories then you can just buy the first thing you see in Amazon
BUT now you can't do that most of the usbC accessories don't follow the standard and could damage your device
The only option is to go for oem or certified accessories by oem
Major headphone companies like Beats, V-Moda etc. that have those exchangeable 3.5mm wires make wires that both are male 3.5mm and usb-c.

Cause I still have a premium functioning headphones that has those exchangeable 3.5mm that I bought 2 years ago. Don't want to shell out another $200+ for a bluetooth version and ending up with 2 headphones. And this way you don't have to carry that small adapter

If I could get a 2.5mm to USB C adapter like the one pictured above that worked with the Pixel 2 XL that would be the best of both worlds. I did some searching but was unable to find any, links?
You will have one when your device shows up. Their is one included.

If I could get a 2.5mm to USB C adapter like the one pictured above that worked with the Pixel 2 XL that would be the best of both worlds. I did some searching but was unable to find any, links?

The image above was found at Walmart. After reading an article about not to buy cheap usb-c, I'm kinda of hesitant to pull the trigger and get this. That's why I was hoping that the major headphone companies would invest making it instead.
I'd love to see something like this that can connect directly to my headphones with whatever it needs inline to connect to the Pixel 2. That would essentially solve any problems with existing headphones and would still only have the one cable to the phone.
Guess I can't post links yet but was trying to link NewFantasia Replacement Audio Upgrade Cable for Sennheiser HD598 / HD558 / HD518 Headphones 1.2meters/4feet on Amazon.
HTC U11 and Essential Adapter both confirmed working.
i have 2 of them from my Moto Z Force and will try them tomorrow. if it works then THESE would work which are Prime and 2 for $8

Running nova 7 beta and AfterGlow icons. KWGT date widget.
Case by Caseology.
I'm pleased with the camera performance.
Evening shot
And for reference, Pixel 3
This new OP9 Pro takes amazing photos! Can I ask you if you shot them using the latest 11.2.2.2 version of OxygenOS, or with older versions?

Thanks for your reply. The latest version of OxygenOS seems to have fixed noise and oversharpened photos, as well as white balance. Can you please upload some photos shot with the latest firmware, so we can see if there are really some visible improvements? Thank you

Getting Warp charging speeds with OPPO's SuperVOOC car charger
Pulling 42+ Watts at around from low to 50% charge. Above 50% charge speed drops to 33w. Happy with that.
What's the wallpaper? Do you have a link, it looks great!!
Nice case and wallpaper as well...

Haha yep. UK spec!
I bought an Oppo SuperVOOC 65W 3pin brick for a spare charger, namely the one you'd get with a Find X2 Pro. 10V/6.5A. £14.
Charges the OnePlus 9 Pro @ full speed, even with on old Dash charge 4A rated cable. Spiffing.
You gotta love 15 to 75% charge in 15 mins when you're in a pinch.
I now have my fast charging suite is on lock .
Tested the Oppo charger. Results after 20 mins...
All in all same speeds as the OnePlus Warp 65 brick.
