I'm in California and ordered one from HTC. Got it a few days ago. Pic is here.
There's a tiny hard plastic square on the side way below the power button, but nothing rubbery.

Cosmetic damage. Please advise.

Hi all,
Recently I dropped my beloved phone and now there's an unsightly dent in the corner and the silver border (euro version) is really badly scuffed. It still works though.
But I like my devices pristine so I can't stand to look at it now!
Tbf I can still get £150 for from one of those phone trade in companies.
And can sell an old e71 for just under 100, which can go towards a new different handset.
Or is it at all possible to refurbish anywhere and then attempt a higher sale? I'd rather not wait weeks/months though.
Please offer any advice.
Thank you.
Ibelieve you can buy replacement screen/front cover. I seen a couple posts with links to ebay for them.
Wow, what would you do if your girlfriend had a zit?

MAC concealer. Its the best there is.

I'm not sure if thats the damaged part, but that is what I was talking about.
mines got the same thing, dent/scratch in the top right corner, but it just adds character
i know if i fix it, i'll just go out and drop it again.
Maybe you could just put a case over it to hide it and protect it from future damage?

Stupidly i did the opposite. As soon as i dropped my phone i was in such a piss poor mood i just put it in my jeans pocket. I was cursing the stoopid fiddly case!
So aswell as the corner dent, the silvery bit started to peel away. Funnily, every other part of the phone is still in perfect condition.
I doubt any personal buyer would be interested so i think im just gonna give it to Envirophone or other.
Better than other situations where i could've lost it or internally detsroyed..

You might be surprised!! Put a post up in the marketplace section, you might just find an interested party
Why not get another one and save this one for parts. That way when you drop the new one and scratch the back cover you can already have a replacement.

Anyone try this case? Frosted clear case with black rim?

I see many variants of this and was wondering if anyone has tried it. if so can you let me know your thoughts? Maybe some photos of the phone with the case. I am really thinking of getting it.

Will do, first person to get it post
I'm using one that's nearly identical --
http://www.amazon.com/Cimo-Hybrid-H...8&qid=1368653617&sr=1-4&keywords=cimo+htc+one
I like it! Simple, doesn't add much bulk. Only issue with it is the volume rocker is covered up by a harder rubber material, so there is no longer any tactile feedback with presses.

Sorry for the delay -- had last minute stuff that took a bit longer than expected.
Power button is completely exposed, so no IR issues.

potential alternative to the Cimo case:
http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Premi...TF8&qid=1368729144&sr=8-2&keywords=supcase+m7
considering ordering b/c that price and prime is too good to pass up
I got the case and love it, it is nice. I don't feel the need to post pics because it was already been done. I recommend it

Smooth rounded edges around the perimeter like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797094
Rounded Borders: The edges are tapered to be chip resistant and more durable. See this one (for Note 3) http://www.spigen.com/brands/samsun...te-3-glas-tr-slim-premium-tempered-glass.html
Round edges will feel smoother to the touch.

I'm sorry, but they look exactly alike from what I can tell (at least as far as you can see on Amazon).
And in all the screen protectors I ever saw - they just go along with the devices' shape, that's why I don't understand the question "does it have round edges?" - if the phone has round edges, so will the screen protectors (again, at least in all the screen protectors for every phone I ever saw).
Also, relax.

To get back to the original topic, did you buy the Nacodex and, if so, how is it in terms of quality and your user experience? I've seen zilch on XDA and the OnePlus One forums about this particular screen protector.
And by the way: This is why the second poster asked whether the protector had rounded edges:
People have received a square-edged SP from Nillkin that was marketed for the OPO but didn't fit.

I think what he's asking is whether the edges/sides are rounded off vs. being a sharp, square cut. It sounds like the misunderstanding is which part of the screen protector we're talking about. I took it as the edges/sides, but it sounds like you're thinking corners?

Ah, gotcha. I ordered the Nacodex as well, but haven't yet received it.

Anyone have any luck find a skin?

I love skins they are protective and thin. But I haven't found any for this phone yet. I may have to order vinyl and cut my own
Looking for full body transparent skin, but can't find any. There is a back transparent film from a brand called imak. Ordered it, but will take some time to arrive.

I put in a request with Dbrand a bit ago, but they said they have no plans to support this device unfortunately. Depending on popularity they might change that. Go and request it your self on their contact page, they have a device request form.

I put the same request and got the same response. When we combine that with the fact that this is a Sony phone, the result is no skins from Dbrand, ever.
At least Xtremeskins got us covered??
Yeah I submitted a request a couple weeks ago with the same response. Xtreme skins it is.

Forget about Dbrand. We support the devices they do and don't do
just hear to see if someone finds a full wrap or one with sides.

And beware of these skins too for this phone. Almost impossible to get smooth edges with these skins. I had to install the skin maybe one mm short on each side and then tried to smooth the middle part. If you just stick the skin on like normally would do, the skin goes beyond the edge of the back and frame and will stay very sharp to the hand. 2 stars.
Also, do not buy the Modern Oak skin if you want the same looking skin that is displayed on the webpage. Very, very different in real life. Went straight to trash.

Accessories Bellroy Case issues

Has anyone had issues with Bellroy cases? I've had my case for 14 days and the case tore like tissue paper in two spots. Bellroy refuses to replace the case and blames it entirely on normal wear and tear. My phone sits on my desk or a table nearly all day while I'm at home or work. Apparently their "engineers" deemed those "high contact" areas. Anybody having issues with their Bellroy case?
Mine is as good as new. I've had mine since the release.
I too have a blue case ..it has developed a strange patch in the centre and looks weird..can't figure out why ?
That's disgusting. Get PayPal or your Cc company to fight it. It's defective.

Which is why I find it odd they blamed me for accidental damage and saying they're "high contact areas." Mine is mostly on a desk or wireless charger. They seem to believe their quality assurance process is flawless.

My $12 Caseology case I had while waiting for this still looks brand new and was used in the same manner. According to them I mistreated my case in 14 days that blew the 3 year warranty.
Well I'm ditching the Bellroy. Dropped my P6P onto concrete floor. It bounced up and hit the edge perfectly on a forklift. Broke the screen and glass covering the cameras. $500+ to get it repaired and I have to send it to Google to get the repair done since all the authorized repair places don't have the parts. 25+ years and this is the first cellphone screen I've broken.
