I found that installing magisk then install Dolby Amos modual. sound is improved by 100% quality and better volume.

I have fequently flashed few custom kernels and custom ROM's based on CM,my phone speakers seem to be damaged (like getting disurbance at high volume with bass) but everything is cool when I flash 'MIUI ROM' i.e., no disturbance.
Anyone who know solution to this pls help me

Just install viper4android and use some IRS to eliminate the distortion.
P.S . Delete audiofx or any other sound enhancements before installing v4a

I recommend you to try xiaomi piston 2 irs. I'm personally using this irs and i have no distortion. Just google it and you can find it. If not I'll give you the link.

There are a few different Viper magisk modules...I personally only use sound mods from Ahrion and havent been disappointed. He updates them regularly as well.

All of his mods are here....AM3D Zirene doesnt work on Nougat though. Ainur Sauron sound mod, while a magisk module, cannot be added through magisk and must be flashed in TWRP. Dolby and Viper are all you need and can be downloaded through those links or through Magisk.

No sound creak if the level too high you can disable some options niveler sound...

Not working for me. The Dolby Atmos app keeps crashing. Installed the dax_axon7_v3.5r2.zip via magisk manager like it says in the mod thread.

I flashed it via twrp. No issues
After installing dax_axon7_v3.6.zip with magisk 15.0, it's working fine
Just tried installing it on Oreo but ended with the following error : less than 25 API are required

I tested arise 2.94 Dolby Digital Plus is not compatible with mi A1 Force close DAC app :crying:

I was just wondering if Viper4Android or Arise work on the S9? I've read multiple threads of it working on the S8 on oreo but haven't seen any reports coming from s9 users .
If it does work, what rooting solution did you use? Magisk or SuperSU?

I installed it and activated it but in Viper when I click driver status, is say it is NOT processing the sound. No settings matter. I think we need buysbox and other such mods to get it to work.. :/

The process runs only when you have music running, like a music player, Spotify etc. Viber runs good on the S9 together with the integrated Dolby Atmos.

That part I know since I have been using the sound mod with all my previous phones. However in my current case it does not process the sound that is playing trough the music player.
May I ask, what ROM are you using?

Viber version 2.5.0.5 through magisk installed.

Working fine with magisk(just download module inside magisk) I use version 2.5. 0.5
Rom from soldier here on xda.

This module only enables dual speakers, right? I don't want any other fixes or gains to be added. I am going to install it on stock 8.1.
