Why create a thread with mods already tested by others ??
I posted the mod of Guitardedhero with his permission I doubt that you asked him the friend .... Finally I will not polish ...

This Magisk module works on 8.1 stock and LOS. With the 2.5.0.5 drivers.

@shubham8, Please delete the links of Pure Audio(this is my converted build too) and Sony music MOD because I did not give permission to host my work on third-party resources or post a link to my thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70502885&postcount=2 as in the case of DolbyAtmos by guitardedhero.
Otherwise I will have to contact the moderator.

I already made a similar guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/guide-install-dolby-atmos-viper4android-t3775621. What's the point of this?

Viper4Android screamin' with these steps...

I currently own a Moto X Pure Edition XT-1575 and now, my Moto G4 Plus XT-1644 that these steps work to get Viper4Android working on your G4 Plus.
1) UNLOCK Bootloader
2) Have TWRP Recovery and BE ROOTED
3) Reboot to TWRP Recovery and flash the following zip files in the order they are numbered.
4) WIPE CACHE
5) Reboot
6) INSTALL included apk and Open
7) Flash Drivers
8) Grant Root
9) Wait for it to tell you to Reboot, and Reboot
This is NOT MY Work, but i can confirm that it works on my G4 Plus XT-1644.
*Edit*
One of our G4 friends (thanks @Amit_timA ) searched and found link to original devs post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075

Ok I found out where its coming from, here's the link to the source http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075 Amazing mod by @guitardedhero :good:
I just installed v4a apk to get v4a working on my xt1642
Just curious. Exactly how is V4A improving audio for you? The output to decent in-ears (Philips Fidelio S1, 32 Ohm, high sensitivity) is already pretty good through Poweramp v3 Alpha (SoX resampler and no EQ) to my ears. Easily loud enough and with better clarity than my old ipod nano 3rd gen. I play mostly 320k mp3s, some 16/44.1 and 24-bit FLACs (even though I know that it is all resampled to 16/48). Is V4A for tonal tweaks or is there some magic to digital signal handling going on?

Use mid-high range earphones you'll love v4a
Better buy JBL,rha,...BOSE they sounds incredible with v4a
Thank guitardedhero!
Great to see the Moto G4 Plus Viper4android thread @DJTeeJay!
It's been such fun since Viper took over audio control of my phone!
Hope more Moto G4 users share their experience and Viper preferences to help unlock maximum possibilities of this phone's sound.
Thanks
I flashed stock viper 4.71 fromhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075, wiped dalvik and rebooted. What are all those zips and the app in op for?
Some out of those zips are flashable variants of Viper, such as Atmos or DolbyDigital+ or Sony Beats which are customized versions built from respective roms the related audio effects/settings have been ported.
The rest are either IRS samples or profiles or DDC samples, which unlike the main app, can be extracted and put into the corresponding sub folders into the Viper folder on SD card.
--------------------------------
My current config:
XT1643 RR 5.7.4 Viper 2.3.4.0 (came inbuilt with the ROM thankfully!) DolbyDigital+ 2 IRS over Dfx 1.3 pro (can't be more happy dfx works flawlessly with Viper) headset mode via 3.5 stereo through Fiio E17K Alpen on Sennheiser HD598

Can someone port 'Dolby Atmos' to our Galaxy Grand Duos ?!

Dolby Atmos is a must for music lovers like me. I have long been trying to make it run, but everytime I get a Force Close. Can someone from our XDA community please port it to our beloved Grand.!

Yes, I installed the latest magisk v14.0 & installed his AudioModificationLibrary module.
I tried to flash all of the listed ports, but none of them worked for me.
1) LeEco Le Pro 3 Atmos & Le Max 2 Atmos opened for a short while afterwards they both crashed
2) All other ports force close immediately:crying:
Can you please tell me how you made it work ?
Thanks!

Try this

[MOD][MI MIX][LITHIUM] Dual Speaker SoundMod

This mod will activate earpiece to act as secondary speaker.
But do not expect earpiece to produce sound as loud as main speaker. but it is enough to give a decent sound vibrations.
[README]
* I've tested on LineageOS 15.1 (Oreo) and LineageOS 16.0 (Pie) based ROMs, it runs fine.
* It runs fine with Dolby Digital Plus mod. but you have to flash this first before flash other sound mod, or it may/will be not working.
* Do not try it on Nougat.
* This is specifically for Mi Mix.
* Flash it with your own risk, don't blame me if it's not working for you, always backup your data before trying something new, obviously.
[DOWNLOADS]
Filename :
- TWRP_Xiaomi_MiMix_DualSpeaker_v2.zip
- MAGISK_Xiaomi_MiMix_DualSpeaker_v2.zip
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1skaWD5B5NJLQRwFJn7zNIIObfS3onw5e
[INSTRUCTIONS]
* Use Magisk Manager to flash. Open Magisk Manager, go to Modules, add the zip file, reboot.

Any Working Dolby Atmos on Custom Roms 8.1?

Hi i have i tried dolby atmos mods in app section but all went bootlooped im using AOSiP 8.1. any dolby atmos mod working for this device? Im a fan of dolby atmos i hope someone can help or i'm willing to try any sound mod the have the same quality as dolby atmos thanks!
I have dolby atmos and Viper4android working on RR 8.1 - The only way that works for me was trying to intall the "Arise mod audio", but you have to modify the script in order to tell what is going to be installed in the device.

Hi there, to me the best audio processing mod is Viper 4 android.
Here is the link to the Magisk version wich i use too.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904018140
Hope it helps
Ainur sauron + Viper4Android + Audio Modification Libary (All of them are compatible to each other, magisk modules)
And i suggest you to install Audio Compatibility Patch magisk module also.
Don't search for other solutions, i think this is the best. And you should use masik x 2.2 rom it sounds better.

Yes, I flashed it from twrp, rebooted and I found the Dolby in the apps drawer.
I think it was Dolby digital not Dolby atmos.
