Hi,
I do not wish to discourage any sort of development for Sony (MediaTek) based device but your making some pretty big claims here without no content or clear explanation of just what it is your doing.
Maybe some things are been lost in translation or the thread titles are a little misleading
If your indeed doing "real" kernel Development (not just ramdisk edits) and ROM development then please share your kernel, device and vendor trees on github so we can see what's going on and maybe help and contribute.
If all this stuff is purely ALPHA stage then your thread titles should say [Alpha][Testing][POC]
If the Kernel is STOCK then it should state Stock. A Stock kernel with ramdisk edits is still a STOCK kernel in my eyes so the tile should say [Stock][Modified] Kernel xperia xa1
I believe with a concerted effort from the community here on XDA we could get a legitimate AOSP and LineageOS on our Sony (MediaTek) device's but this would likely need the collaboration of a few dev's with experience of both Sony and MediaTek device development which is a pretty rare combination but one can hope :fingers-crossed:

Dear bigrammy If you want to help , you can watch my other threads (about lineage os port etc.) , and help me fix problems with actual port of line age . Soon on github if I finish my work I get you code to kernel and other code of android modified by me .
faby GT twrp now is not available for this kernel , but if you flash not my recovery and you install rom manager you can boot into recovery

I have restored the rom, wiped cache and it booted sucsessfuly. But Google Play services, Xperia Home (they just crash) and wifi arent working on my phone yet.
Thats why i switched back to stock rom. If you (or someone else ) could help me with that i would be very happy.

Google play you can restore by gaaps zip flashed . xperia home was deleted from rom , and user than restore the rom must install other launcher . Wifi problem is not system problem , but recovery problem . Recovery don't unmount system correct and set some permisions .

Now I do some port's of recovery , and I have the same problem with that . I try to fix that , but I'm not sure when I do that to finish .

I have ordered a XA1 which should arrive very soon I also have the XA and L1 .
I would really like to help/assist but I am very new to compiling and I also need to upgrade my PC to cope with the demands of building Oreo >
I aim to upgrade it by the end of next month.

Is it possible to install over nAOSProm 5.1 with new partition table?
Can it be install using recovery, I now have OneOfAKing 6.0.1 with f2fs file system. Or i must go back to the stock ROM and then flash it using your tool.

Okay I've try it to flash over f2fs and oneOfAKing Android 6.0.1 but no luck. Going back to full stock now and will try again. @verma.arun833 can you provide us with more info about your installation process ?
I'm using it since 2 days and it's very nice to get back to a sony interface rooted rom after several years of aosp roms
I was on Naosp f2fs 7.0, so here's what i did to install this rom :
- I used Emma to get back to stock rom and partitions
- I extracted recovery.img and boot.img from Naosp 5 b28
- Flashed those using Fastboot
- Followed this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...de-root-unlock-bootloader-partitions-t3257040 to increase data partition to 8 GB (be careful to the drivers on pc as said in the guide)
- Transfered this rom to sdcard
- Flashed it using twrp previously flashed (take care to unmount all except sdcard in recovery before flashing)
And that's all !
Thx @Dalba1108 I manage to finish the installation successfully. Setup all the apps that I used before but the phone go out of space. I'll try the guide that you share to increase the partition because after the installation the free space without any app was 900mb
For half a day used the ROM and for everything is good, but the camera app has some bugs.

You have to pay to download this version.
To download you have to create an account on their site and "buy" the free version linked in first post. Then you receive by mail links to download the rom.

There's a twrp included. But to access it you have to press multiple time power button instead of volume+ while blue led appear.

I dont have spiderman theme but Everything else is working Perfect. Really nice ROM i dont feel any bug. but yes its laggy at times but thats part of it since our phone is way too old..
I just wish we have that finger trial Particle effect in this rom. i tried may mods but none works

If u have it try this
Move ur ROM to SD card
Extract boot.image from the ROM and flash it through flashtool and reboot into recovery and then flash the ROM from sd card and wipe delvick cache and cache it and reboot into system
That will do the job

I tried before with the latest recovery provided for miui 10 (vince_treble_twrp-jay-port-v3), I formatted data to can boot as indicated for some users in the thread but never boot and never recovered the ability to see files and flash nothing more directly (but adb sideload) from this twrp version, any of the three no-verity/lazyflasher/antibootloop worked for this so I started again with Orange Fox recovery. (although any treble recovery could work following right steps indicated)
No need to flash callfix.zip.

I didn´t try many, for me it´s in beta level yet but as far as I know VoLTE is a global bug in all devices yet and camera2api it´s not working for me but maybe with other mods can work so in some devices it works, but we can expect that as many users and devs take part of this then we get more advance. I hope that users can share the experiences and so help others.
I use android p. And for me this gsi is much better than los 15.1 ... except for fingerprint. 2api camera works great! only first you need to flash .zip 2api, only after that install the camera application! The battery holds well, and is pleasant and smooth to use.)) I love the new from Google)

I started from start to flash DP 4 and it is more fluid than DP 3.
Anyone tried with a treble enabled custom kernel?

- the launcher crashes constantly (pixel launcher isn't responding) so you lose your navigation and phone is unusable

If you must try it take a nandroid backup first and after restoring your nandroid backup there is a stupid bug in TWRP you have to use file manager to delete /data/system/locksettings.db to get back into your phone!

I got it to work, and it is cery smooth for a port. My main issue is the wifi keep disconnecting and random freezes on the os. Other than that everything works as smooth as it should even the fingerprint.

Camera doesn't work at my device. But it can found in AIDA64. What happen?

Fine ROM. Just installed today. No bugs found yet except one - notification sound picker crashes as soon as I open it. Suggest fix. I don't need any notification sound.

My regards mr Raschad, i've tested your latest Pixel Experience Rom and noticed many bugs and issues within it, 1) notification lamp not working or blinking correctly when new notification recieved, 2) a small delay happens when an incoming call from screen echo and on lockscreen mode, 3) Heavy performance experience either Ram usage or cpu i bet this is caused from some google apps like wellbeing service, so i strongly suggest to not including Gapps in your next release, 4) some heating with battery drain happens occasionally also a crash happen with youtube vanced app, other than that this is my Logcat file to check it please, and thanks a lot.

Thank you for your great rom update but there are some notices :
1 - the devices sometimes when i restart device stucks in the google display page .
2 - notification led when chraging still red untill reaches 90 % then turn to green .
3 - when installing facebok app the device enters the booting loop and the same thing in the extended rom and rr rom.
4 - when use mobile data the device get very hot .
5 - when i try to change my ringtone , sound app stops and get out it is very annoying
these notices i faced till now

Not sure about the details for G8188 (which I think is the Japanese variant). If your device is not the dual-SIM variant, you need to flash G8141 firmware.
And I'm not really sure about how to deal with a device that's lost its IMEI and baseband.

Try to flash only system image from this rom. use modem and the rest from your latest stock like modem and etc. Sorry for long reply

Well, I experimented with oreo,because I like it more than pie, but it's not that stable yet. There are some mystical bugs and bootloops, that doesn't make any sense at all to me.
If there will be demand for Oreo version, I will consider making it.

Nice. I was using NanoDroid with the China ROM but it wasn't fully compatible, especially that the contacts sync adapter wasn't working. I'll give this a try once I'm back in the house. Thanks.
hi, need to mention to use aroma twrp. when using normal twrp the NanoDroid SetupWizard will freeze

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

i guess from now on we will have android 13 aosp roms. A flashing guide and screenshots from rom would've been really nice as i've never heard such rom before. How is the battery backup at 90hz?
If this is official how come there's no reference to it on yaosp.dev?
Will test this ROM later on. Hopefully SafetyNet is passed on this one.
Tested the ROM :
Smooth Display doesn't work. Unless forced from developer options.
Any QS kernel based ROM have : Stutters when opening Notification Center with notifications in it and as well CoDM game is crashing.
Overall the ROM is good. I just can't live with the performance of QS kernel in our device. ATOMX kernel is way better in my opinion but it's good nonetheless. I just don't have the time now to optimize the freq boost curve of QS kernel to improve the performance.

For smooth display it's a feature introduced by YAAP that named VRR, in future version there's an option to switch it. By now u can force it from developer options.

update : pixel ringtones doesn't work .. need to change
another thing there is no mobile tower info on status bar...only time and Wi-Fi and battery

Pixel ringtone...yes it is a bug... But status bar is customisable.... Enable and restart the UI... Check in option bro....
for some reason cant flash a custom recovery stuck with android recovery !!! cant flash any thing with this recovery !! https://mirror.codebucket.de/yaap/lisa/
boot vendor and rom downloaded from here !! downloaded the 20221030 rom zip !!!
update : there a folder name 20221030 and there is a boot_2.img file !!! should i install flash that zip for recovery !!
update 2.0 : i tried yaap boot and vendor flash doesnt worked ..then tried pixel recovery and it worked !!!

Again go to fastboot and flash Pixel os recovery and side load whatever you wanted to...
