Please understand im not a themer but I like tweaking this beast so...
Ive worked painstakingly on this for months. I mean months. For those who know theme galaxy is fabulous. But getting it down packed digging deep into the features to get your s**t the way you want it . Wow. Many hair pulling episodes and sleepless nights. Fellow tweakers understand. But id work with it for days... weeks.. then give up... wait a couple of weeks.. months maybe. But I didn't delete the app. It was just there in the back of my mind. Literally lol. Like id think of how to tame it. Take courage and try again. Everytime I thought I had it... some menu id forgotten.... or some other crap would pop up. At first id leave it. In some cases it was just a minor defect in only a few areas. Like not being able to see text or icons. But that too bugged me to be figured out.
This is what I came up with. I may be open to answering questions in between the busy schedule... or maybe you tweak it and take it further or different. Up to you. Btw you MUST have theme galaxy on your phone. I donated but don't know how this will come out on the phones of those who haven't.

I have spent endless hours with themegalaxy myself. You did a great job. Swift Black with Substratum since the Oreo update is really hard to beat though. Not nearly as much time and since I don't have to do the computer thing anymore it's gravy.

But part of me secretly likes the tinkerers struggle.
They have added a bunch of Samsung related overlays, and continue to dial it in a couple times a week. I hear you on the tinkering. I built free and premium themes for the Note 4 til I finally upgraded. Now everything is so locked tight that it just isn't even worth messing with. Some days I'm tempted to sell my Note 8 just to get out from under the payments and go back to my S7 Edge as soon as the Oreo update hits.

I like the theme i did in TG but there are so many areas i can't get to with it.. or haven't figured it out yet and have given up.
Yeah pretty soon i think you won't be able to modify any of the phones. Security concerns cited smh

Updated it some. Worked some text visibility issues out. Changed some colors around so the accent and main color is more graphite than grey. Think it's as close to perfect as it's going to get unless I notice issues.

Could anyone that's tried these tell me if they showed all system areas properly? When I first created each I shared the apks to my wife's s9 and they worked fine with just minor imperfections ... but when I lost my files I just downloaded these and they look totally wonky now.
How can it be uninstalled?

I tried downloading ThemeGalaxy and can't get any themes to load. All I get is an error so I went back to Swift Black Substratum.

I think you'd need the project file from themegalaxy of let's say one of my themes and compile it/save it using the app on your own phone for it to work properly. Using the APks I've created I notice its hit or miss with installation .
Download link for project file of my latest dark ui theme. Import this into theme galaxy then build/ install into samsung themes. I used just regular black wallpaper... and tha black icon pack found in Google play. Don't know if the project file includes these so just in case.

I actually just bought the OnePlus 6T so right now I can't theme at all.
This is the thing that I concocted. I might be available to addressing inquiries in the middle of the bustling calendar... or on the other hand perhaps you change it and take it further or unique. Up to you. Btw you MUST have subject cosmic system on your telephone. I gave however don't have the foggiest idea how this will turn out on the telephones of the individuals who haven't.

Okay.Now that it's been on the boot screen for 15 minutes..... the notifications bar came up.... it is bloody. But the rest of the screen is black. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I might have screwed it up.... but if not just a heads up if it's something you can fix.
Looks like a badass theme if it would work properly. I even have the Halloween theme as my ringtone. Haha

Can you build version 2 to be compatible with JFv1.41? Decisions, decisions... Auto rotate and multi-touch browser, or a sweet sweet display.
I'm going to try my hand at doing it myself, and if I get a workable version I'll upload my zip file.
I went with the below for my wallpaper but cropped it to exclude the Zombie Girl text. Her right cheek just lines up with the right side of the center screen. If I get the 1.41 build going I'll crop it and throw it in the wallpaper section.
I did a quick hack job and here is a version of the theme with the browser updated to match JFv1.41. I left all the other APK's as they were in the original theme release.
I flashed this to my phone and it's working for me. Use caution because I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and this is my first time doing anything theme related. I take no responsibility for what this files does to anyone's phone. RC30 only.
Here's what happened just in case it helps anyone in the future. When I originally added this theme to 1.41 the browser multitouch and autorotate disappeared as they should have. I created an update.zip with the new multitouch but left the browser.odex. When I applied the theme, it replaced the browser but the features still didn't work. So, I re-applied JFv1.41 to start with a clean slate. Then, I made the update.zip that I'm posting, which removed the browser.odex. I'm not sure if starting from a clean slate fixed it, or if removing browser.odex fixed it.

the attached theme is not my own work i take no credit for anyone else's efforts!This is a modified fade to blue but i've swapped the splash screen from blue star, swiped icons from a couple of other themes(Hybrid,Blue Star,Buff). It now shows a % of battery life (10,20,40,60,80,100) which you can see in my third screen shot. This was modified purely for my personal use.no other versions will be made.
As always if you see your work here and want specific credit you can either claim it in this thread or pm me and i'll edit my post. If you still want this removed because you're work is borrowed then pm me and i'll take it down.

Very creative, but I hope your asking for permission from the original creators to post manipulations of their work, It takes alot of time to find, modify, and finally create these themes, and for some one to come in and just start to cut and paste, may need permission.

No problem, I have never had any problems with people tweaking my stuff. But there are a lot of devs that get very pissed, which is understandable. It took me about a week or so to get FadetoBlue to v.99 and that is putting at least 3-4 hours a day into it. even with that tie i still didn't feel it deserved a v1. So it does take a long time to get these things finished.
I think most the devs would be fine if tweakers asked for permission and made sure to give credit where credit is due, then we shouldn't have any problems from the devs...at least i hope.
Most the themes (including mine) have taken icons from other people's sets and used them without giving credit or getting permission. So we shouldn't have a "do as i say, not as i do" mentality =)

Can you or the original maker of this theme seperate the animated boot image with the glowing blue android guy from this theme? Or possibly tell the original maker to put it in the original fade to blue theme? I really loved the boot screen when i had this theme but the images were a little low quality so i ended up switching to the original fade to blue and now i have the OEM boot images. Thanks in advance.

this is still a work in progress as i am looking to create a few more system icons and the launcher tab on the homescreen. i will be updating this semi regularly(school and work have both kicked up a notch recently so i will be on a little less frequently) main thing i am looking for is a good picture of sylar taking someone's head off. if you have a good pic of someone who got scalped by sylar(preferably with the head removed but i could work with almost anything) i found several pics but i don't like them since his hand is in the pic. if you have any suggestions or anything you would like to say about this theme then by all means let me know i am up for trying anything. i am still working on getting my eclipse up and running, some errors are keeping me from being able to edit .9.png images. as well as hex edits might be attempted later.

Could use a bit of polishing/etc. And change the pull tab of Claire's cut head. Looks ugly and doesn't fit well. And I assume there are 2 of them from dxTop? If so, you should use the default home to showcase themes. Unless this is a dxTop only theme. If so, please state that.

i know the tab looks bad right now, but it's actually really hard to find adecent pic of sylar scalping someone. i meant to use the default home screen for the pics so i will re upload them later when i get to my computer and have a different home screen screenshot. if you have an idea of something to try for the app tab then please let me know, i am up for any and all improvements.

this was posted a while ago and i figured since i got almost no response about it, and only a half dozen downloads that it wasn't worth fixing up more or porting it. i will download my own theme sometime soon and see what i can do. i was working on a dude theme containing black and blue(i prefer dark themes) but the 1.1 got released with manup's black and blue theme so i might start over. i have no big ideas on a theme yet, just a few minor tweaks for some personal use not to be released

I just think it will be much more easy on the eyes and battery life with a nice black screen like the default email app.

If I had any clue how to edit the XMLs I'd offer to assist.
I guess some of these xmls weren't supposed to be touched. First attempt and I have no Epic for the time being. I'm doing what I can on the phone itself to avoid Odin, but that's next. I have to try another route that is showing promise. It might require a theme to work though because one way is to edit the colors in the framework that is inherited by Gmail. Once I'm back up and running I can see where I can push this.
Back up one nandroid was corrupt, the older one worked. Now I can see where I went wrong, don't expect any results tonight lol.
Here's where my two errors happened. I deleted gmail.apk with root explorer, phone did not like that. Bootlooped. I restored the nandroid backup that was corrupt. It didn't work fc everything once booted so I did a factory data reset. That fixed it to boot and run. Next I applied the modified gmail with an update zip. This crashed the phone worse. I am back up to where I was earlier today, I'm going to try a different signing method as well as making it's own update zip. If that doesn't work, the xmls won't allow me to edit so it will be up to me changing colors in the android framework.

I'm going to be undertaking the task of taking the default sprint theme placed on the Samsung Intercept and modding it to the original default white android theme found on most commonly Motorola Droids.
I originally had the idea of doing this since this phone seems to not be too common among the android community, and for people like myself who do not want to ROM or flash the mods to the phone it is near impossible to find any MetaMorph or NinjaMorph compatible mods for it. So I decided to take a step up and start on my own little project because I personally think the stock theme seems like a generic cheap theme, and I prefer the default android theme.
In the future if this mod is successful I may undertake one converting to the HTC android theme as well and possibly package it into a full MetaMorph once I gain experience.
Attached below are the images of what I plan to convert the theme too which is going to be starting with just the statusbar and notification and battery icons. First image is the stock intercept theme, the second is the original android theme I will be modding it to and the third is the stock HTC theme which will be coming later on.
I'm experiencing weird issues when trying to replace the status bar with the Droid one it refuses to replace the png, however the HTC statusbar replacement works perfectly using NinjaMorph. I'm going to try flashing the modified droid instead and see if that gets me somewhere
Why can't you just download a stock ROM and get the framework-res there?

Edit: I just tried using NinjaMorph to replace the statusbar png with the droid one and it failed to change it even though it said it was successful but when I applied the HTC statusbar png it worked perfectly the first time strange
This projects basically dead. I hate this phone beyond what words can describe, the whole "customized" android ROM Samsung put on this phone makes me feel like I'm running a cheap rip off smartphone. There is no stock ROMs or un-customized ones to the point where they are all even more bloated than this pos stock ROM.Backing up this phone is impossible, metamorphs don't work on it and ninjamorph doesn't work properly on it. I wish I didn't have another few months left before my upgrade I can't wait to get rid of this thing. And to top it all off It is impossible to access recovery mode I've tried both my phone and my brothers intercept and both can not be booted into recovery mode unless I use an app while inside android. I'll be back on here when I can find a non piece of crap android phone from Sprint.

There is no stock ROMs or un-customized ones to the point where they are all even more bloated than this pos stock ROM.Backing up this phone is impossible, metamorphs don't work on it and ninjamorph doesn't work properly on it. I wish I didn't have another few months left before my upgrade I can't wait to get rid of this thing. And to top it all off It is impossible to access recovery mode I've tried both my phone and my brothers intercept and both can not be booted into recovery mode unless I use an app while inside android. I'll be back on here when I can find a non piece of crap android phone from Sprint.

Check over at SDX-Developers There has been many changes for the Intercept that will make rethink the Intercept. There has been several ROMs built and many themes are being ported. I've been porting several and made a few.
I've been over there and tried the roms available and it was a disaster. The level of respect I got from members over there was terrible as well they were not willing to help at all and ignored several questions that were asked. It was just plain rude and I ultimately left that site behind after not being satisfied with the mods available and the people there.

sorry to hear that. I have never been disrespect there. But I do know that questions will not get answered right away if the questions you are asking have been answered already. It gets real annoying when no one reads just asks questions and complains. When 90% of the time the problem or question you have somebody already had it or asked about it. And as far as not being satisfied with the mods available there, then you're pretty much out of luck because that is where all the ROMs, Themes, and MODs are coming from for the Intercept. But for another place where the people are nice and helpful is ubuntdroid.com and there is great development for the Intercept there.
Yeah for sure it got too be extremely stressful and just not worth the time to continue to be on the forum over there. I'm going to be trying some metamorphs from around the forums here to see if they are working or not on it, It was just to the point where my questions that were not previously asked where being ignored in order for someone to bash a new person asking a question that was easily answerable by a search. Guess I'm just on a break for now on making progress with this phone.

Well I'm not sure if metamorphs are going to work on the intercept. But if all you're trying to do is theme then all you need to do is be deodexed and then you can make themes & just flash them. I've been porting and making themes for sometime on the intercept. I'll be releasing a port of the BUUF theme for the intercept tonight. After you get a hang of themeing it kinda turns into an addiction. It becomes easy but time consuming

I'm not sure I've got a backup done all I pretty much plan to do with the metamorphs is change out the statusbar and the icons up there with it, and possibly the app icons. I'm just taking a break from it since it's just caused me a ton of un-needed stress from the mess over at sdx. I'm going to try the metamorphs this weekend and see what the deal is with them.

Like I was saying to do that you don't have to metamorph. Just be deodexed then make the changes then flash the new themed template with the new changes. I know it would be nice to have metamorph working but unless youre a developer and plan switching a lot of stuff to get it to work I say more power to you and can't wait to see if you get it done
I'm not a developer so I won't be able to get it to work more than likely. Thanks for the advice and saving me the trouble of possible messing my phone up with metamorph, so for the deodexed template I just have to replace the images I want and flash it through inxane's recovery as I would a normal rom correct? Again appreciate the help man

Flash the deodexed stock template thru inxaxne recovery. This will keep everything stock but makes it so you can edit everything and not have fc's everywhere. Then flash the deodexed template you made with the changes you did. If you can't get. Just get yourself deodexed then pm with what you want changed then I could make the changes and set it up in a flashable zip. But try it first its not hard. But ALWAYS make backups just in case. And remember that if you can still boot your phone into recovery then you can still fix it

Alright sounds good I'll work on replacing the images and backing up everything on my phone then. I already made a theme to flash but I lost it on my laptop when I wiped it last night. I've got no problem with making the flashable theme so again thanks for the help.

Ok cool give it a try and let me know. Remember to make the png changes to the deodexed template and you don't have to unzip it just open archive with 7zip and drag the pngs you want to change, make sure they have the same file name. And if you need help just pm here or thru sdx. I check both often.

what kind of update are you looking for? if you want the htc sense theme for the intercept?.. this has already been done. and if you want the stock white just ask I could possible have that done for you. if you are familiar with sdx(im pretty sure i've seen there) then search there for intercept themes and you'll find the samsense theme port by wwsean08

By status update I meant where OP was on his project of bringing the stock white Android theme to the Intercept, which is what I've been looking for. I've attempted porting the files myself but had a few hangups. My main concerns is porting the Statusbar and notification area entirely, including its status icons (battery, connectivity, ect).
The re-visioned theme Samsung/Sprint put on the Intercept just looks so... cheap. The lockscreen, for example, was the cheapest looking excuse for a lockscreen I've seen since Windows NT. Replacing *that*, however, was easy thanks to SDX.
And yeah, I go to SDX :3 Between XDA and SDX, it's Android heaven.
Apologies for the lack of updates I haven't gotten a chance to start working on the theme I've been pretty busy lately I just need to figure out how to change the date and time text in the statusbar to black since it will show up as invisible if I were to use the original android statusbar so I can't move forward until I figure that part out.

I couldn't agree more with you on that the stock theme on this phone looks even cheaper than some of the non-smartphones I've seen around which isn't saying much, the lock screen is why I use the pattern lock I just liked the pattern to begin with so it worked out good. Hopefully this theme works since it's the only reason I tried to flash ubuntdroids rom in the first place
