Cannot sync Bluetooth with sound bar - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi
So I can pair and connect with multiple devices like headphones... but my LG sound bar Sh5b, is unable to connect with the redmi note 5 pro with 9.5.19
Couldn't either with previous rom
its not unlocked BL nor rooted
I can connect with with other phones on Oreo 8.1 custom rom., so it's rom related pretty much
Anyone maybe came across?

Mi5s bluetooth pair problem

Hy, I've recently bought a Mi5s and i can't connect it to my car kit.
I'm running Miui Global 8.3.1 but i've tried other versions of Miui and the result is the same.
After flashed PixelExperience Rom with Oreo 8.1 the bluetooth worked normaly.
Any clues to make it work on Miui to?!
Thanks!

problems with miui 11, downgrade to 10?

i have some issues with miui 11, as bluetooth, adaway, titanium backup stucks...
can i downgrade to miui10 or will i have brick problems?
What are the Bluetooth issues?
Mi-9, MIUI 11.0.5 Stable (QFAEUXM), Andoid 10, since the resent upgade the HotSpot data sharing feature does not work. Though previously i had my phone connected to my car system without any problems since the last upgrade my HotSpot is not regognized (found) even if i turn it as free (without any protection). I already tried to clear cache and reset all wifi, blutooth and Data settings but in no result so ever. I can connect my Samsung phone without any problem to the same of course car console.
@kok8 This is Mi 9 SE forum, not Mi 9.
Maybe it's a little late, but xiaomi has released a firmware to downgrade to miui 10. It is available from the telegram group "MIUI 11 Updates".
Has to be installed with "choose update package". I successfully downgraded mine, although you might not have eea version so I am not sure how much it affects the process.

Rollback update on pixel experience plus (not android version)

Hi guys
I'm having issues with output to bluetooth speakers or headphones with latest pixel experience plus 09/13 update. Is there a way to downgrade or roll back to previous update on custom firmware? Or is my only option is to format and reinstall...

dead bluetooth lenovo P2

My bluetooth is not working anymore.
I cannot see bluetooth devices, pair with previously connected devices and my lenovo p2 is not visible as a bluetooth device anymore...
I tried clearing storage of bluetooth system app.
I switched rom from Resurection Remix 8.6.5 to Pixel Experience (which contained a new kernel) after a full wipe.
What should I try next ?
flashing back to stock nougat ?
Or should I directly switch hardware (I have a spare lenovo P2 with broken screen).
thanks

Redmi Note 8 Pro Bluetooth range issue

I am trying to use the Oppo enco buds with the Redmi Note 8 Pro which is connected using AAC by default. The Bluetooth range when using these earbuds is very low, like 100cm. At first, I thought this might be a problem with the earbuds, so I tested with my MacBook as well as other android device and it works perfectly with everything else. I tried changing the codec via developer options but it always resets it to AAC.
I am running MIUI global 12.5.7 on Android 11.

I don't seem to have that issue. Been streaming music from my redmi note 8 pro to my Harman kardon bt speaker from the other room. 7 meters and a 20 cm wall and don't have any issue. The issue might be with the earbuds. Or with the version of miui you are running. Try downgrading, maybe at miui 12 it handles differently.

Which version of MIUI do you have? While connecting to your Bluetooth device which codec does it use by default?

Actually the bluetooth range of Redmi Note 8 Pro is less as compared to other devices or mobile. I was also using Redmi Note 8 Pro. Mostly in the Pinoy Teleserye I have to transport documents and images to other employees of the office. So the redmi bluetooth range was very teasing me thats why I changed my phone.

Then your phone get F by PE A12 tree. Flash Miui fastboot then use Factory reset in Miui setting to solve that (Miui 12.5 work with almost. If not, downgrade to Miui 12 and do same and check)

All will need to be replaced if you come to Xiaomi service center, even a normal hardbrick. And someone feedback that after flashing new PE, their Bluetooth problem got fixed.
