My Friend wanted to install a custom rom on his redmi 5A. He needs a gaming rom. he plays PUBG Mobile game and needs a stable rom for that game particularly.

Every ROM is good and PUBG runs smoother on all ROMs, still if you want a specific ROM then try Pixel experience.
I prefer using MiUi Chinese stable ROM for best performance in pubg

Hi Everyone.. i have two questions
1) i saw lot of instruction for ARB enable devices instruction. Im currently in 9.5.13 because of that. So is there any custom rom to try miui 10 without enabling ARB.? I saw one developer release miui 9 builds up without ARB but not miui 10. I love to try miui 10.
2) I'm playing pubg and asphalt 9 on 9.5.13 firmware. Graphics are not maxed. I have changed the settings to max graphics. But still not best quality.. is this because of software? Is there any specific rom for gaming? aosp or miui virsion? I love to see max graphics with this device..

I am currently on MIUI 11 by xiaomi.eu but has been looking for a change.
PUBG has shown a visible drop in performance even in lowest graphic settings (HD is no longer available). Though the heavy updates in the game and the SD636 getting older day by day can be the reasons for this, I believe the installed ROM also contributes in these cases (since Pixel Experience 9 used to run brilliantly on my device).
So I am looking for suggestions for the same.

I was thinking of downgrading to MIUI v9.2 by xiaomi.eu
Will there be any problems in the same like anti rollback issues as in Official ROM?

If anybody was wondering. I understand that downgrading to an ARB3 Rom (since mine is ARB4) will definitely BRICK your device.
So it's better to look for the same ARB version if you are downgrading in MIUI Roms.
Pixel experience for redmi note 5 pro (whyred)
Pixel experience is available for our device and also flash custom kernal AGNI and choose overclock while flashing it.... These are 2 best for gaming and best battery life and no lag is codm or pubg I get around 30 to 60 fps.... Enjog

Yeah it's good now Android 10 is released and if you need pubg in high GFX then flash custom kernal AGNI and while flashing it itself asks you to weather to flash pubg settings mod to unlock full GFX... Before i only got medium GFX in codm after flashing Agni kernal for redmi note 5 pro I got unlocked high settings in codm and fps...

I am currently using Spark OS as my daily driver it is working good , you can try this ROM , also if you are BGMI player then it provides smooth gameplay.
