inbuild search like on blackberry or miui dev rom - so confy and everyday needed! google search is not solution, plus it doesn't search files, like pdf or xls is it possible to backport thar search app from miui dev rom? (swipe up on home screen)?
one hand mode. what xposed plugin or app, or solution would u recommend?

May be later i compil with aosp searchbox .
I dont use xposed. I think latest from xda for sdk21 will work normal

Now I am successfully ported some apps from miui on custom rom(fm and miui camera included). may be few days and I will fixed this

It's possible to do 4k videos, or 1080p 60FPS? Maybe porting from LeTV ONE? It has Helio X10 and 1080p 60FPS camera.
Try another camera app
There is no camera app that will work with 60FPS. Only this in AOSP can record 720p 120 FPS (And thats why i changed MIUI to AOSP). But noone can record 1080p 60FPS (its possible).

Hi @vova.vafin, I checked the rear camera specification of Redmi Note 2 and found out that it is identical to OneplusX. Is there way to fork that? OneplusX also have cm13 as well. Here are the links for comparison.

I recently decided to bring back the dead soul of my old phone with the help of custom ROM's.When I searched for my phone i.e LYF Wind 3(LS_5502) on google i came with no result except for the TWRP Recovery.
By the way, my phone's i.e--LYF Wind 3(LS-5502) android version is lollipop V5.1.1. It's running stock android provided by the LYF company till then no updates,no security patches and no-nothing.
Then I decided to port ROM for my phone with the help of millions of tutorials and guide & also with intense work.
I finally had made a stable custom Rom-----MIUI-Pro Miui 8 on top of lollipop-V5.1.1.

*But I faced some bugs like this which i was not able to solve.:--------->
Camera
I was not able to completely port camera.
When I start phone everytime(power ON), and open camera it work for a slight second(upto 4-5 seconds)but then after it says ''can't connect to camera''. And after it whenever i launch camera app it says the same.
Except Camera this ROM is smooth and very much stable than the stock one.
I'm using this for quiet a month and had felt no issues
It had better battery backup,batter RAM Management
If any dev is seeing this please help me solving th camera problem described above

Procedure for Installing ROM:-------->
1) Download the ROM
2) Boot to twrp and wipe data,system,cache
3)Install the ROM so simple.

As The oem has not release the kernel source which is againt gpl that android follows.
So I have ported ROM on top of prebuilt stock kernel.

For last 2 weeks I've been trying to use Selfie Stick with following custom ROMS for Redmi 6 Pro: Linegae, RR, CrDroid, DotOS and Im surprised that none of the camera apps in these roms could work.
To investigate further I installed custom apps like GCam and Camera360 apps with proper permissions & settings but still no luck.
To cross-check the same Selfie Stick is working just fine with camera app in MotoG Turbo, Samsung, Intex & other phones...
I feel code for this feature is missing in all ROMs, what you say?
Are you able to use Selfie Stick with your Redmi 6 Pro ROM?

THIS MOD ONLY WORKS FOR S5KGM1 SENSOR WHICH IS USED IN NOTE 7S/GLOBAL VARIANT
Steps:
1) Flash 240_s5kgm1_lavender.zip using recovery, MOUNT VENDOR BEFORE FLASHING
2) To use 240 fps slow mo, use preferred GCAM, go to slow mo, click on 1/4(in bottom left), it will switch to 1/8.
3) Enjoy! :laugh:

after flashing that zip i have never been able to record videos again.Tried on custom roms(PE,CrDroid,EvoX,) i originally flashed it at EvoX,i have tried to install miui using the fastboot method and still all i can do is take pictures if i press video the camera says cant connect to camera.

EvoX official already supports slow motion at 240fps out of the box with default gcam. So no need of flashing this mod.
Development regarding note 7 pro(Violet)
Dude I am appreciating your work and now same problem applies to note 7 pro as well it has maximum capability of 480fps but still it is recording in 120fps. So please help for note 7 pro to unlock atleast 240fps!
I tried it with multiple gcams, including preferred one and various 7.2, 6.2 and 6.1 versions. 120fps works fine, when I turn to 240 it just crashes. I think the issue is that I have Android 10. MIUI version: 20.3.26 beta
UPD. Got MIUI update 20.5.14, tried again. My best try: trCamera_REBORN_V5_deep_end_final.
1/4 / 1/8 switch works, but has no effect (both options do 1/4)

Don't works on MIUI 11
I test this mod on MIUI 10 and works perfectly but when I try to install it on MIUI 11 it doesn't works and breaks stock cam. Can you fix it ? Maybe only works with oldcam blobs

now dealing with issues with that rom , one of them is to get rid of google dialer and replace it with mi dialer to be able to record calls.
currently under this version 13 of Miui I am playing arround with google dialer to make it Cough, Cry, Kiss, Laugh, Sniff, Swallow, Whistle, Yawn in caller I.D
watch out guys google rolled out an update that canceled call recording !

(((( good news everyone ))))I was able to use different dialer app called "ACR Phone" for arm8 with a special file that allows it to bypass google restrictions for voice recording , i will post that special file as soon as i can.Also i was able to manipulate that app to do some kinky sounds like the ones i told you about ...i will explain to you all how to do that too here in this post....just keep looking for that post because i will post more about this app and even more special apps that i use ,also will keep up with this android version and its updates for the love of XDA Team & Whyred phones.Peace to you all

Next go get the TTS version of Loquendo tts app with Susan voice which is v2.5 i guess then install it then change the default tts voice settings in "text to speech" to Susan then start to manipulate your caller I.D inside the ACR Dialer by adding these commands right before or after Names in each cell of first name and last name in the contact list to get some kinky sounds before reading out any caller
