Oneplus3 LineageOS 15.1 Notification slider does not restore ring mode - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Switching notification slider to priority only (middle) or alarms only mode (top) and then back to None mode (Bottom position) , phone only vibrate and doesn't make any sound (both for notification and ringtone) when receiving a call or a push notification.
Am I missing something? is the None mode means vibrate or is it a bug?
I'm on oneplus 3 with 15.1-20180717 nightly version
Thanks in advance,

[Q] Codename Android 1.3.2 Vibration

Noticed this issue after upgrading from 1.2.0. When in vibrate mode, notifications (SMS etc.) doesn't actually trigger vibration, so the phone behaves the same as it does in silent mode (only LED).
Anyone else have this issue? In settings, I've only managed to get vibration to happen when in ringtone mode.

[Q] CM10 notification don't vibrate in silent mode

Hi
I am running clean install of CM10 26/09/2012 (but this issue is present in earlier nightlies as well). My phone is set to vibrate when ringing, and link the notifications and ringer volume.
When I use the power widget (pull down status bar) to put my phone to vibrate only, I'd expect phone calls AND notifications vibrate. However, only phone calls vibrate, the notifications don't. Going back to normal mode restores the issue.
I am using 3rd party app Audio Managar to set vibrate to notifications to "always" and then it works, until I touch the power widget again. Anyone having same issue?

In 6.0, how do I put device on silent and still receive notifications?

Just like the title says, how do I mute the sounds on my Nexus 7 but still receive notifications in the notification panel? Right now, if I mute the device, it goes into "alarms only" mode and I don't get notifications.
I can mute the alarm sound but I still get notifications! Maybe it's another bug! Did you clean install Marshmallow or did OTA?
I think you misread my post. I don't want the alarm sound muted; I want the notifications sound muted. It's not a bug, it's a feature of Marshmallow that I'm just not familiar with how to setup properly. I came from CM 12.1 and on that ROM you could just turn the volume down to 0 without any sort of Do Not Disturb mode activating.
I just want the device to be silent, but still receive all my notifications on the notification bar.

[BUGS] Notification volume & Ringtone volume

If you turn off "Link ringtone & notification volumes" in Settings/Sounds, set "Ring volume" to vibrate and set Notification volume to the minimum, all notification will vibrate.
Maybe we can add:
- "Ring volume": after vibrate and before first sound level, a silent level (no vibrate & no sound)
- "Notification volume": vibrate and silent level before first sound level
And of course fix link if both proposition does not.

How to Solved Notification Problem "ringer is silence"?

Can't make any notification sound except phone call
and when you try to change ringtones it mention ringer is silence
Does anyone know how to fix it?
i didn't turn on DND or silent mode
If you unlock your phone and press up or down volume, a column of volume control should appear based on what's running. The top section is the volume of one of the types (ringer, notification, alarm) and the bottom bit shows you the current silence or DND mode, and three dots. Press the three dots and you'll see the expanded panel showing all three volume settings.
I assume that you've got some level for ringer but nothing for the other two. Drag up from the bottom to set a volume. On my OS version dragging up from silence is a bit problematic so you might have to try several times if your OS is the same.
thanks a lot i didn't notice it
i will check it work or not later
thanks a lot
