Sirui Portrait Lens - Google Pixel 2 XL Accessories

Here's a photo comparison of the Sirui Portrait Lens, Portrait Mode, and a regular photo. All three subjects were taken in the order mentioned. What do you think?
What I take out of this is:
The portrait lens seems just as sharp, has a slightly less but more natural looking bokeh (background blur) than the artificial portrait mode, and a tighter, cropped background.
Portrait mode bokeh has the most blur but can be too artificial looking depending on the subject (these all turned out pretty well) and more background capture.
Regular photo is just there for reference.

[Q] Quality of panorama pictures?

Android ICS photo app. When I look at my panorama shots, the file size is a lot smaller then a normal photo. I would expect a panorama taken at the same quality level to have a file size multiples bigger than a standard photo. So I can only assume that the panoramas are compressing the image more or shooting at a lower resolution then the standard photo. Anyone know if this is true? Is there a way to adjust the quality of panoramas?
I also tried this with the new 4.2 nexus photo sphere camera and it also creates smaller sized files for panoramas and photo sphere pictures.
Thanks.

PS here is a photo sphere picture I took last weekend while climbing Mt Saint Helens.

Weird thing on lens

I just noticed that a weird purple/pink blotch of colour appears on my camera lens when I digitally zoom in.
I thought it was dust but even after vigorously wipe the lens it still stays there

Camera lens scratch.
Try anothe camera app to be sure.
What should I do?
Nothing you can do.
Probably a laser burn, did you use your phone as camera/flashlight on a location with lasers like a disco or anything?.

At first glance I'm actually seeing improvements on the 3x telephoto lens indoors with poor lighting conditions. You can see below a screen capture of before and after the update.
Video mode 3X before update:
Portrait video mode 3x after update:
Later edit: Joke's one me. The portrait video mode records in Full HD only, that's why it seems to be sharper. 4K video quality is the same. Inconsistent focus and smudgy in low light. Oh well... back to waiting for miracle updates again.

Question Portrait mode on leica leitz 1

So I want to buy this phone. Just for enthusiasm. Can any one tell me how is the portrait mode of this phone. Portrait mode generally looks better on zoomed lenses that are about 50mm FL away. So for those who have this phone. Can I see some portrait samples of this phone. It would.mean a lot to me.
It will automatically use zoom mode in portrait as well,
edge detection is quite good in my opinion,
pardon me for random subject, just purely snap a picture for sample purpose
