How to enable RGB settings in display settings on Stock ROM - Google Pixel 2 XL Questions & Answers

Hi All, I would like to enable RGB setting in Display Setting to control display colors. How could I do that? I have stock 8.1 Firmware. I would like to enable it on Stock ROM

Still no reply?

I'm not sure what these settings are. I don't have them on stock rom. I use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.halfcycle.cc
Hope it helps!

Settings/display/colors
That's where you change you settings for colors.
And your only options.

If you install the Flash kernel and install just about any kernel Settings app it will give you full rgb settings.

Thanks

I will sure try it

[Q]Color control in custom kernels

Hello,
I'm currently using ParanoidAndroid 2.99 rom with AK Dummy 534 kernel. This kernel features color control but I can't find this setting on my phone. So what I want to ask is that do the color control settings depend on the Rom or the kernel?
For ex:
- Kernel features color control but PA Rom does not have this setting so I cant do anything to change the color.
- Kernel features color control and CM Rom has this setting so I can change the color.
Thank you in advance.

The kernel decides if you can change the color or not. PA just may not have a built in way to change them.
The easiest way if there isn't something built into the ROM is to use an app. Trickster Mod should work, but there are many other alternatives.
Thank you very much! This is just what i need.

[Q} EQS settings on AndroidRevolution HD?

Hello there!
noob question but i used this mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2114584 and I cant find where to change the settings for EQS (enhased Quick settings).
Can anyone tell me how to change the order, select settings to be shown etc?
thanks!
I don't believe reordering is an option on that mod. I think the only way that you can reorder quick settings is on Team Venom Viper ROM and that's because those options were built by the dev team right into the ROM. All of your options though can be found under quick settings when you press the menu button.

Tried your rom, wifi doesn't work.
Flash NC1 module in recovery, wifi works now. There is a software upgrade notification, should I run it?

modem baked in. You still need to flash the kernel modules for wifi. As far as the update you can run it and it will most likely fail. It's for Samsung update which we can't use anyway.
Seems dropbox has suspended my links because of too much traffic. I am reuploading it now to Mega
Panorama not working!
Panorama mode won't save the pics. =(

I feel I am missing a step somewhere. When I rooted, I used ODIN to flash the I337_NI1_Stock_Kernel after using Towelroot. I have Safestrap installed and had no problem getting F-Slim ROM loaded on the Stock slot. Are you saying I need to flash the NI1 wifi kernel module? Is this different than the kernel I mention above? If not, where do I get it from? (yes, I have searched) Once I have it, I would think I need to use ODIN again to flash the kernel, but when I tried booting into recovery using the hardbuttons, I just got a black screen and ODIN did not see my device connected. Again, what am I missing? Thanks for your help. I'm sure it is something simple, but a key piece none the less.
EDIT: immediately after posting this, I found the modem kernel thread here , but I would conclude this is not what you mean to flash to get WiFi working. Sorry I'm posting info that may not be related, I'm just trying to show I have done the searching, just havent found what I think I am looking for.
UPDATE:
Here is the post containing NI1 wifi kernel modules. I finally found it myself. I hope this helps others.

[HELP] 2x Flashlight brightness on OOS?

Is there a way to have 2x flashlight brighness on OOS like sultan did on its rom? Here is its commit
Since I don't know how to compile and modify a kernel is there any other way to change the brightness? (by changing system files maybe )
I already tried going to sys/class/leds/torch-light0 and 1/max-brightness but when I reboot It just reset to standard values.
Thanks in advance for the help

If u find the correct option to edit (!), u can made an init.d script or use any script app to apply these settings after each reboot

Port OxygenOS Anations to Custom Roms?

Would this be possible? I like the quick animations from oxygenos, looks alot better than stock.
what type of animations are you talking about ? all are same there is nothing diff
1. Enable developer settings
2. Find animation scaling options
3. set all to 0.5
