About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. My Mix 2 arrives in 2 days, I was hopping to use stock + xposed or a new custom rom entirely. This looks great, I'll try it out!
This is my first time with a Xiaomi phone. I'm upgrading from a heavily modded Z3 but that's it, never tried other brands.
Can I ask you to check this?

2. Unlock bootloader
3. Flash Beta 8.4.19 (Mix 2 Rom)
4. Flash TWRP 3.2.3-0 img from flashboot. (official thread)
5. From TWRP, back up and flash this Rom (Wipe System, Data, ART cache, Cache)
6. Without rebooting: flash Gapps (any package)
7. Reboot once and flash Magisk 16.7 Beta. (Official thread)
8. Run descrypt file by user AndyYan if needed

2. Unlock bootloader
3. From Recovery: Flash TWRP
4. From TWRP: Back up and flash this Rom (Wipe System, Data, ART cache, Cache)
5. Flash Gapps (Can I choose any package? even the nano/micro?) (Do I need to wipe anything before this?, should I rebot between flashing the rom and gapps?)
6. Flash magisk

1) you have to update to 8.4.19, not at least to 8.4.19, cause newer firmware causes battery drain on reboots.
3)flash twrp from fastboot, not from stock recovery
5) flash Rom and gapps together.
You can use every gapps package that you want.
No wipes, so rom+gapps.
6) flash magisk After installing Rom and gapps, and rebooting to system once.
7) if you data partition is not encrypted, you have the descrypt file by andy. But when you buy the phone, your data is already encrypted, so nevermind.

i tried it and here is what have to say:
1. boot up is pretty fast
2. FP is preety fast too. (i found DU's FP the fastest)
3. there's option to unlock using only FP after boot up. that's good.
4. i didn't find any option to enable navigation bar.
5. it is pretty smooth.
6. once i try to access recent apps by swiping right the screen flickered/glitched. then after a while screen went blank and then i had to force restart. i tried again to launch the recent apps and same happened.
7. seems like camera2 api hasnt been implemented. the GCam crashes.
8. i hadn't flashed gapps. may be the above mentioned problems are due to that. i didn't check flashing gapps.
9. magisk's version used : 14.4
Wow 10th Oreo ROM already for Z2 plus. Development is in full swing. I think no other device has as many oreo builds as z2 plus have.

This was the awesome till now I know it having less amount of customisations by comparing other roms but the battery backup was dam good by any other roms i am watched a video on YouTube about 42 min and it just decreased by 38% to 35%. Thanks Dev for your awesome work and awesome Rom.... :good:

About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! Hope you enjoy your stay and like our work on Cardinal-AOSP.

my english is poor...sorry!!
Most of the translation is correct except for the camera section,But in English I can not express what I mean,really sorry!
Anyway, it's the camera. The photos that come out of it are different from the images before the camera.
In the end, I still like your ROM

OK so I got this mi note 2 in December 2017 an have been looking for a good custom ROM for it ever since I unlocked its bootloader.
This ROM:-
Has zero slow down (most ROMs for this cell do usually in less than 2 days)
It's compatible with my main 2 enhancement softwares ssd boost an Roehsoft ram expander (even though it is only compatible up to Nougat)
Is compatible with android 8 google camera (5.1 version)
Works perfectly with magisk
Two thumbs up Psy-Man. I think you finally made a ROM that I find very versatile an outperforms MIUI.
Finally my ROM search is over.
I cannot figure screenshot but just use an app.
Thank you very VERY much.
This is a very stable consistent ROM an actually is so stable that it shows up weaknesses in applications.
Very well done (that's high praise from me because I am very fussy with ROMs)

Done, one more thing, I can't hear the person on the other end during a call
How do I get this pixel nav bar on Lineage OS? A flashable zip file preferably, reverted back to that temporarily, I liked this ROM but I couldn't hear the caller on the other end and they couldn't hear me either
