Cpu-Z lists soc as Snapdragon 626 - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

All the spec sheets (including the official one) list the phone as having a Snapdragon 625.
Cpu-Z identifies it as a Snapdragon 626 however (see attached pic).
Probably an error with Cpu-Z? What do you think?

They're the same actually. The only difference is that the 626 runs at 2,2ghz while the 625 runs at 2,0ghz.
Since your pic says 2,02ghz it is just the 625. Maybe CPU-z rounds up or so from the 0,02ghz extra listed?

I suggest you to use DevCheck Hardware and System Info https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.devcheck&hl=en
I saw it somewhere on XDA I think. Listed correctly as 625.

In general, no lag. Fruit Ninja lags but I believe it has something to do with bad optimization in the game itself, because similarly taxing games like Subway Surf and Carmageddon run fine.
Ultimately this is not a phone you would get for its performance though, given that it uses a SOC from 2016. Battery life on the other hand is amazing. At the moment I have 3 hours SOT with 80% battery left (haven't used any games on this charge yet though).

Great work, really usefull!
just a curiosity, in these pics where is/are the ram module/s (oleg says 256 MB mDDR (2Gb) + 128 MB oneDRAM (1Gb))? I can't see it..
@I7redd: in your image you wrote Bluetooth 2.1 (s8500 seems to have 3.0) and gpu PowerVR SGX 535 (samsung says PowerVR 540)
I don't see the GPS chip. Can anyone tell us where that is ?
Here's some more info :
http://www.ubmtechinsights.com/repo...stigative-analysis/samsung-wave-the-comeback/
I'm wondering if the GPS chip isn't the GNS7560 that's also in the Galaxy S...
http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung-Galaxy-S-4G-Teardown/4977/2
Possibly close to the Qualcomm QSC6270 or the Hummingbird - this sort of chip needs a very stable power supply so I'd be inclined to position it near the more delicate chips....
LPDRAMs are most likely PoP mounted with S5PC110, together with oneNAND.
PowerVR is indeed SGX540, not 535, as far as I remember 535 was mounted in some OMAPs or older S3PC.
GPS is controlled by separate chip, marked on schemas as U104, thats little chip in bottom right corner of mainboard picture linked before.

Thanks, so there could be no visual feedback about ram until the cpu chip (KAC007021M-AET7, ARM C111A AB) is disassembled
(the KLM2G1DEDD-A101 moviNAND is the same of nintendo 3DS http://www.nintendo3dsitalia.it/speciali/esclusiva-quando-nintendo-3ds-era-ancora-tegra2 and ram modules are not packaged with this chip: 3DS has 128MB of ram in a separate chip -Fujitsu MB82M8080- http://www.ifixit.com/blog/blog/2011/03/28/nintendo-3ds-has-128mb-ram/ )

No Exynos or Super Amoled for the Galaxy S4

the bootscreen is fake, and as with leaks specs can faked as well. The GS3 supposedly had a 13MP camera and a 3mp fromt face cam..... but we all know now that isn't the truth

..... just sayin' .....
I think the note2 once the gs4 come available will drop in price and would be a Better buy. My girl friend got the note 2 and I play around with her phone often and it's hard going back to my phone with no s pen and smaller screen I know what I'm getting.

Sammobile usually is spot on with info. Looks interesting to say the least.
Honestly I'm not mad about the gs4 not having an exynos processor. If anyone has looked at the power consumption for the dual core a15 soc in the n10 it's crazy high. So I could see why samsung would have a hard time getting it into a phone without it overheating or draining the battery. But the loss of a samoled screen is a little more I interesting. I don't know how true it is bit it could be a huge blow. And seeing some of the flexible displays were 5 inch 1080p versions I don't think it's far fetched to think they can't make one that can work in the s4
Would be awesome if it has a snapdragon

I'd take any rumor as of now with a grain of salt. I think Samsung's won the heart of many consumers with their Amoled screen. There's not much wrong with the technology, aside from screen burn in. The colors are so much more vibrant on an Amoled screen than any other.
As for the CPU, that's entirely possible since we've already experienced that with our current device. Wonder what's in store for us this time. Hopefully it's another Qualcomm CPU, since it plays nice with CDMA and EvDo.

anyone else has a bit of heat issue?

I got tab s few days ago. Its pretty amazing. Its rooted now and i got a 128gb sd in it the only thing is that I notice after some walking dead game it heats up pretty good on the top side of the back.
Anyone else got this problem?
It's not problem. That's where the GPU sits. This tablet is the thinnest on the market next to the Sony Xperia Z. You're going to expect some heat when playing graphic intensive games.
Expect it to heat up. The CPU/GPU needs to power a bright 2560x1600 display anyway.

Ok. Thanks
Same here, I've been trying to stress test my tablet to make sure it's not defective and noticed the same thing with the same game. I'm not too worried but keeping an eye out for warping swelling. So far so good.

If it's warm to the touch, it's should be fine. If it's hot and uncomfortable to hold then there's something wrong. It's been reported that some of these are defective.
To be fair Apple iPad can get pretty warm over long usages. Not hot but much warmer then my Tab S.
Try and track down the culprit, it's usually samsung.index.service that gets stuck indexing files on the sdcard, and can peg the cpu for days.
Use Gsam battery monitor, or a cpu task manager to keep an eye on various processes. You can use the included process manager in developer options to see what process is using all the CPU.

Strange, I've played Hearthstone the other day for about an hour, and no problems, but I see you have the LTE version , we have different chipsets and GPUs

Question NFC chip / Mifare Classic support

Hi,
Does anyone know if the Oneplus 9 [Pro] has an NFC chip supporting Mifare Classic? That usually means a chip from NXP. I have checked
MCT COMPATIBLE_DEVICES (and INCOMP.) and
ShopNFC NFC-list but they are not listed (and actually the shopnfc list has Pro 7 listed as not classic compatible, but the MCT document says the opposite, so even if someone know that 9 [pro] has the same chip I am not really convinced).
If you have a 9 [Pro] and a Mifare Classic card (quite a lot of travelling/bus cards and access cards/keyfobs using that variant) and want to help,
download MCT from F-droid or Google Play and see if the phone recognizes a card (should give a pop-up with something alike "New tag found").
Would help a lot in my decision of buying a new phone. Currently using Oneplus 6.
Thanks
It seems to detect my bus card which is migrate classic. It only take a long time to make a dump, don't know if that is normal..

Ohh thank you!! Perfect. That is a 4k card, so takes quite some time to read. I assume that you have a 9 Pro, the screenshot resolution seems correct also.
I only wish it had a 3,5mm connector as well, then it would be a no-brainer. (Hm, maybe I should start a new thread to hear if there are any usb-c splitters that supports fast charging...)
I have the 9 pro indeed.
Maybe this adapter is what you are looking for....

Good.
Yes I've seen those, but I'm afraid that it will not support fast charging, especially since Oneplus requires an original cable *and* an original charger. But will probably give it a try.
For future reference, I also got an answer from Oneplus:
"We would like to inform you that both OnePlus 8 Pro and 9 Pro comes with SN100T NFC Chipset which is manufactured by NXP."

Why do you use a module that is intended for certain SoC's with one that is not even supported? The OnePlus 9 Pro has a Snapdragon 888. The highest version according to the GitHub site is 865.
Or what am I missing here?
