I write my issue in OnePlus forum, but maybe I should write it in here also.
I have problem with screen off gesture to open pamera ( O - camera V- video ) and also double -tap power button. Camera starts wit like half second and then jus turned it off and just unlock phone.
I noticed it work whitout problem if I make those gesture ( o, v and double-tap powerbutton ) with phone in position taht camera wont detect face.
So if faceunlock detect face , then it wont open camera. Like faceunlock and screen off cesture cant work toghether or something. ( even double-tap powerbitton ).
I noticed this problem also with 5.1.0 rom , but I don´t have time to deal with it.
If I turn on facunlock - then no problem.
Wipe cache, dalvik dont fix this
clean install dont fix this
dirty flash dont fix this
camera update 2.5.28> to 2.5.30 dont fix this
chane kernel dont fix this
REBOOT dont fix this
Change kernel to stock don´t fix this.
right now I´m rooted Magisk, New Kernel, haven´t use any camera mods, Stock rom 5.1.1,
Anyone else in here have same issue? I dont use it a lot, but I know now that someting is not working and it bothers me.
My frend don´t have this problem with his OP 5T .. with same settings.
Same here. Latest stable Oxygen, Magisk and blu_spark kernel, but from what I remember bug was also present without custom kernel and Magisk
Looks like I manage to fix this. I noticed yesterday that new faceunlock version is up and flashed it. So far ( 20h ) it has worked.

Ive installed Xiaomi.eu 20.4.30 and 20.5.7 builds on my whyred device, the probem is I am facing UI Freeze and hang issues (3 freezes in 1 hour). Sometimes i open an app and it gets stuck untill it asks to force close the UI.
Anyone else facing the same problem?If anyone has any solution please Help

U installed Xiaomi.eu build after formatting?
Also which build?
if you install version 20.4.30 over 20.5.7 you have the problem you are talking about
what I have done since twrp is a wipe data, dalvik and cache and then install version 20.5.7 only, then restore the copy of micloud and it is perfect

I am not facing freezes that much, but i gotta agree this miui is really laggy. Its stable enough, but the dropped framess andd battery drain is really huge. I hopee future updates adressses this

I'm using Miui 12 on whyred; seems like the laggy experience is due to kernel problem. Just flash a custom kernel (tested with Rad kernel 4x) and the lag will gone. Hope it works for you.
Due to extremely high no. Of rom flashes in a day (3-4 roms/day) I've locked my bootloader and back to miui 11.0.3.0

I've tried anything, using different stocks miui (12.0.2, 12.0.4, 12.0.5) from differents regions (global, china, europe) and nothing seem to fix the problem. It only happens on custom roms. Pls help me, i'll even provide logs. PLS
R means it's on Roaming.
It's a known issue caused by kernel packing. Afaik HentaiOS latest beta has the fixes for it. Check your dm and I'll send you their telegram link.
Also a temporary fix would be to switch from 5G/LTE to 3G/H+. This should fix the crashes.
