Of course they are... All fixes have been merged to the device tree...
General feedback about the ROM is excellent. Silk smooth, plus all the new stuff from v5.8. Memory usage is very nice too, users are reporting up to 400mb free ram.
Default camera is Google Camera, fully working (HDR, etc).

This lag does not happen to me, opened very fast, both the Google Camera and the OneplusCamera I'm using, everything very fast and fluid, the only thing that is not so smooth is gesture navigation, not very good, fling mode is the best option.
Just got back my device, I was using LOS 14.1, yesterday updated TWRP and flashed this ROM, everythings is working, feels smooth, sometimes FB app lags, but I don't use it too much, not using it for heavy use, just whatsapp, messenger, youtube and music player.

Ok, I'll try the rom, because in 5.6 and 5.7 the transitions had many lags
WhatsApp and Instagram video doesn't seem to work for me at least.
Edit: Camera also doesn't work in Instagram but works in WhatsApp.

Can confirm that, safety net check fails (response invalid) ,also with 3rd party apps. This did not happen on all AEX versions before (and I'm using it since 3.8).
Beside this the ROM is working very good, fluid and as fast as it's possible for a Titan.
Battery seems to be better too, camera is fully working. I had some problems with substratum (Swift black theme) in combination with the inbuilt colour engine but it's working if you don't use the system UI overlay of swift black.
I'm not using WhatsApp or Instagram so I can't say anything about camera issues.

I'm using whatsapp, camera is working. I don't use instragram, can't say about that. And battery seems good for this old Titan.
But better try this ROM, every user has different settings and apps.

Did you read the OP?
As I said earlier, there is no camera app present and third party camera apps dont work. So all in all, there is no camera. Wait for the fix.
For the difference between this ROM and others, please read the OP. It says it all.
Looking forward for the camera fix. This ROM is my fav ROM. Lots of useful customizations and awsm performance. I'm using it on my Moto e2 too. Thanks bro

Could you be a little more specific as to what is not working? Cause root seems to be working fine.
There is SuperSu installed already, you wont need to enable root from dev settings.

Sorry my bad ? I flashed SuperSU zip with ROM & GApps (forgot it was built-in) SuperSU wasn't there after booting ROM, so tried enabling built-in superuser (one in Developer Options), that one didn't worked.
Flashed phh's superuser now everything's working fine now
ROM is super smooth, RAM management is better than CM based ROMs thanks a lot for your work

Bro I tested it for a while. I think the animations are not smooth cause there is lag Here and there in animations. Moreover there is a short delay between pressing home button and reaching on home screen.
Pls look into it.

Rom is super smooth
There are flaws but other than that everything works.
Slim browser doesn't load xda & doesn't open Play store externally - i dont if rom problem or app problem btw there is no FC
After each reboot media provider gets reset, could not read media from sd card, needs to scan media after boot + scan media behavior doesn't scan automatically, I use a 3rd party app to scan media.
I will use this as a daily driver, I hope this gets better after each update and also please add button mapper from other roms 3rd party has limited functions :/

Check these Screenshots for me..
Another thing i want you to do is, wipe your phone clean and try flashing again. I havent noticed any problems with the media provider yet. I would like to know if anyone else has the same issue.
PS: GO to settings>extensions>system>general tweaks> Check here if mediascanner on boot is set to "Scan media"

Also I've read in some posts Crashes - (facing many freezes because of the system interface that stops working almost every time)
Have you had some of these?
I've tried it some time ago, and I had trouble to get a call. Had to try 5 to 10 times, and sometimes I cant even get the call. Did you find this bug on AEX?

Read the main thread again , you will find download link for ROM
and as this is UNOFFICIAL you won't find it in downloads.aospextended.com until it gets official.
I've been using the rom 5 days ago without any problem
Working smooth
Nice rom, everything is working well, performance and battery comparable to 7.1.2 roms. Rooted with magisk 16, theming with substratum without problems, also flashed Viper as magisk module and Dolby Atmos axon7 for Oreo via TWRP.
Had some crashes with Adaway 3.3, went back to 3.2. Inbuilt Footej camera is working for photos and videos.
Titanium and Swift Backup also running.
Usable as daily driver.

I want to know whether mutli touch has been fixed in this rom?
Stock camera has issues.

I noticed some glitches with Snap Camera (stock) but with other apps everything is working fine. Snap Camera does not seem to be 100% ready yet on AEX (outdated source code).

1) No one said that it is broken, it is just untested, and i won't be able to test without a secondary SIM.
2) I can't test VoLTE too since my operator doesn't support it (well in Italy no one supports it properly tbh)
I'm with last xiaomi.eu 8.4.12 developer. Do I really need to flash the 8.1.4 firmware before flash this rom?

If you want to avoid any possible issue, yes. BUT, it doesn't mean that you won't be able to run this ROM with the newer base, just isn't tested/recommended. Basically, do it at your own risk

1) When click on debugging through WiFi = Crash and auto reboot
2)Wifi > Connect to open networks = Crash app
3)when try using search foreach installed apps = crash Pixel Launcher

1.dual 4g doesn't work (vodafone & jio)
2.double tap to wake up
3.auto-rotate issue (ex : open settings and then wait few seconds without any action (landscape mode) automatically struck auto-rotate , one more example if you play video player few seconds automatically struck auto-rotate(landscape mode) .turn off and on it works again but will face same problem again and again

Apart from auto rotation and battery drainage problem, the ROM is super slick.
Edit: RAM management is not as good as Resurrection Remix ROM or Stock ROM.

Little ghost touch is there, but less thn other rom

kernel log?
Adapter etc is fine, checked it. I also faced this issue with RR ROM, had to revert to stock ROM because of it. Anytime I use my phone (basic activities, browsing, customizing wallpaper, display etc, no heavy apps like games or video streaming) the charging rate is quite slow.
I have to flash nfc.zip as well?

->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Yes, full Substratum support!
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

Thanks and Congrats for Oreo, step by step we are close to stable Oreo, thanks to all the people involved in max's development,
And Otg is not important for me, any other big bug which can interfere with daily usage,
I just installed this, so far I am really liking it even while I am setting up and restoring all my stuff.
OTG is no issue for me, as I only use this Asus to play 1 game.
One issue I have is that Reboot or Reboot to Recovery, whether from the system or from an app, does not work on my phone and just shuts down.
Oh yes, works perfectly with Magisk, latest Canary release build.
If you can, please add bluelight filter too, and wallpaper for lock screen ...
i cant use mobile data in this rom... why???
but this rom is pretty stable compare to dot os 2.5...
but my only issue is that i can't use mobile data....

You need to add APN manually then you can use mobile data.

Download any app for that, you can find that on playstore.
It was giving other issues so i removed night light.

Workaround is just to use the buttons - i.e. longpress the power button to reboot, and the usual buttons for reboot to recovery.

P.S. I found the wallpaper for both Home Screen and Lock Screen, I don't know how I missed it earlier. If I remember the first time it just asked me to select a wallpaper and it automatically applied it to the Home Screen. This time, it asked me where I want to use it, Home or Lock Screen.
