Using it for 5 days,
Sot is ~5h(without gaming, social media, call time ~10m, especially surfing with mobile data)
Miui 10.2.1.0
I changed wallpaper to black, stopped lots of apps, but didnt help to improve sot.
Now battery has %40, and sot 3h. Still same with previous.

about 6-7h sot, no gaming, some internet browsing, a few crosswords, whatsapp and weather app.
I have 'stock [black theme]' (you can find it in the miui themes app) and most of the time i use low brightness.

I'm getting 8h-8h30 SOT according to AccuBattery, not sure if it's accurate or not, I've removed bunches of stock apps and replace them with (better) alternatives...

Very decent battery life for light usage.

Once in a while, when your significant other yells at you, you might use your phone a bit less. Rate this thread to express how the Samsung Galaxy S7's battery performs under light use. A higher rating indicates that the device goes a long time when you're using the phone sparingly: no gaming or video/audio streaming, light web browsing, some calling and texts, etc.

I'm still breaking in the phone, but it seems like I should be able to make 48 hours in light usage. It won't be quite as easy as with my old LG G2, though.
i have the phone for almost 4 weeks, light usage (no games, no FB, no YouTube), some web browsing, almost 1-2h of calls and the battery never got under 48h...i am pretty happy with it
Not a good phone for light use.
Stock ROM, a few app disabled. I never was able to reproduce these. 4+ days standby, 7+ hours SOT.
@red6hu how did you change the signal and wifi signal icons because in stock rom there are different icons .

With Samsung's Good Lock app.
Battery just flies away with wi-fi on
No complaints.
Doesn't matter you are a heavy user or light you'll get only 10-15 minutes of difference.
Adding my rarely used apps to "Always Sleeping Apps" in battery settings has improved my standby time a lot. I can easily get 2 days with 2.5 hours SOT now.

I've had the phone a couple of weeks now and I'm just hitting the 72 hour mark since my last charge with 10% remaining. :victory:
I've had Bluetooth audio on for 2 hours and have an SOT of 1 hour over the course of a weekend. As I'm using 2 sim cards and have poor signal in my flat, I'm really happy with the light endurance.
If I want more, I can install Greenify and aim to beat my LG G2's record of 103h with 2h SOT. I don't think I will go down that road as I love leaving all my apps open in RAM to have 0 launch time.
Just got nearly 4 days of battery.
Only 1.5h of SOT but as a light user, I'm not complaining. :victory:
Over 5 hours of sot not bad

Heavy use endurance

Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the ZTE Axon 7's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.

I'm quite the heavy user, but even so, since a while, I have to charge 2-3 times a day and sometimes, my battery level just remains stagnant for whatever reason
If I watch streams(twitch) the battery lasts roughly 4.5 hours. If I play games like FGO or anything like that, battery lasts only 2.5 hours.
The phone lasts the longest if I only chat/browse the web, which is more than 6 hours.
I am using stock so that might be why. I have a lot of different apps that requires the phone to be not rooted or running Android N. A good feature ZTE should add with their new upcoming stuff would be EAS and more low-power profiles. Because reading stuff, watching videos or playing lite 2D/3D games do not require the big cores to run between 80-100% all the time. I have noticed this happens all the time.

I can get over 4h SOT. Nice!
I have been averaging 6 hour OT. Let keep in mind I do not have any social media apps on my phone Had all google services running such as google now, and had my location on battery saving mode. I usually run map for about 15-20 minutes on average.
Really impressed.
WiFi and LTE all the time on, WhatsApp and Skype protected, web surfing and other normal uses. Better than my old Honor7.
Of course never charged.
Edit: it took me over 7 hours before I had to put it to charge.
During my first charge cycle after I started using H8, I got 4 hrs of SOT with 50 hrs of standby time. I put it to charge with 21% battery remaining so it should have given in another hour I think. I am a light user.
Will update once I have tested it through more scenarios and heavy usage.
I let PC Mark Work 2.0 run overnight with the screen at ~25% brightness in Performance Mode. It was in Airplane mode because the benchmark says notifications can interrupt it and this was the first time since getting the phone I've had enough time to run it.
I put it on the charger a few minutes before I remembered to take the screenshot. It was at 18% when I looked at it.
I can use the phone for 2 days, which is definitely amazing. With that in mind, I usually get about 5-6 hours SOT. Brightness set to 30 percent, Many apps (incl Snapchat, Instagram and WhatsApp) are protected. I'm a student so I turn the Internet off for about 6 hrs per day because the Internet connection in the school is just to bad.
Connected to WiFi as often as possible.
Not many games (nearly never in fact) but heavy Whatsapp, Instagram and Snapchat use.
it seems that the phone can average 4hrs SOT for moderate to heavy usage which is very good
During about 2 days of usage I have 4-5h SOT so I could say that combined 18-19 standby and the SOT is what I have which is really nice after my BB Z10. Mostly FB, Messenger, BBM, Chrome, Youtube and photography.
Hello, I just gotta say the battery works really good with this phone. I'm really happy I picked the honor 8

I've seen it on the Screenshots above and I see it on my Honor 8 as well.. Why is does the software need much more battery than the hardware? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Here it's 6-9 hours of screen on, average a little over 7. Maybe I keep the brightness a little low, people tend to say that it's dark but it's comfy enough for me. I mostly use WiFi and the same apps that used to drain my Galaxy S4 before it was evening. Now I can go to bed with 50% to spare.
Around 4-5 depending on how many games I play . I use it quite heavily as a phone too (I know, shock) so I'm more than content.
Standby time was close to two days
Played games etc. Took it from loading at 6.10 am ended at 22:00 with 4℅. Love the battery <3
Here the screens:
It depends on the network usage !
If you use cell data you're ready for 3-4 hours SOT
If you use Wi-Fi you can hope for around 7 hours
Yes.

A good 4.5 - 5 hrs for my mom. Considering she uses 30% brightness.
Easily you 4.5 hrs sot on normal usage
5-6 hours on an average on any day with moderate usage.
5.5 hrs screen on time
