Anyone know how I make my contact pic show in android messages smart reply? I am on Pie and my profile info is filled in...in contacts.

I'm using DeFroST at the moment and am wondering how I can set 'my' contact picture. Other contacts are coming up in SMS threads, etc. but mine isn't and I can't find where to change/add it
Anyone care to point it out (if possible)?

Add a contact called "Me" with your phone number and picture... Voila!!! Done
My contact picture next to sms.

This does not work if you already have your contact and do an update or install another rom. The following will work.
STEP ONE:
(Skip this step if you allready have a contact for yourself in you address book!)
Add a contact called (Me, Mine, Your Name)"who ever you want" with your phones 10 digit number, Join it with Google, Facebook and set a contact picture just like a normal contact.
STEP TWO:
Navigate to the following:
Menu:
Settings:
Call Settings:
Additional settings:
My phone number:
Enter your phone number "0000000000"
And your Picture from your contact address book will apear next to your sms.
bump app will create the 'my' contact too - or it did last time I used it
Just had this issue myself.. fixed it by making sure i had the Facebook For HTC account properly syncing, then adding the friendstream widget on a homescreen and letting it sync. then my picture was everywhere I was hehe

Well... before i had my nexus one and in it i had pics for all my contacts so when i would text everyone would have their little face in the chat. And when i would text i simply put a pic in the VOice mail contact and that was the pic for my responses.
For some reason this doesnt work on the G2. It's just a grey square and what i described doesnt work... anyone know how to change the default gray pic in the messaging app ??
I was able to do it by saving my number as a contact and then adding a pic of my choice to it.

I have been trying to find an answer to this but it seems no one has an answer to this.
I want to see every email subject when the email is come. I mean if i have 3 mails, status bar must show 3 gmail notificaions and list it and not group them together as 3 unread gmails.
Anyone knows if this is possible?

Does this do it?
Gmail->Menu->Label Settings->Uncheck "Notify once"
I believe that does it. Haven't tested it yet but I'm pretty sure that's it.

Is there anyway to NOT show the VIEW / SAVE when an email has a signature with images in it. it's a pain to deal with. please see my screenshot for an example of what I am talking about.

I would like to know how I can put picture for my own contact ...so that I can see it in messages in the thread ....
Now I can see the picture of the person whoom am sending message..but my picture appears as blank...
Can anybody help me????

When You Add A Contact You Can Add a picture To Him There is the photo icon choose to place your contact on google its much butter
Create a contact for yourself. And also make sure that in call settings>additional settings that you have your phone number in there aswell
