[MOD]Galaxy A6 Custom Bootlogos - Samsung Galaxy A6 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hello A6 users. Here is my first contribution to the A6 community with some custom splash screens. I may do a ROM or a Kernel later on, but not for now since i have really slow internet. Splash screens is easy on the internet, so i decided to do atleast that. The splash screens aren't much or aren't much different than the stock ones but more like refinement of them. They are:
Just A6 and powered by android
Stock A6 logo with fixed SAMSUNG text (not horribly big like Samsung made it)
Stock A6 logo with fixed SAMSUNG text and no Powered by Knox text
S9 logo with knox text and fixed SAMSUNG text
S9 logo without knox text and fixed SAMSUNG text
The logos were tested on A600FN (thanks to @rekai) but im most certain it should work on all A600 models. No, it won't work on A605 models and no, it will never work. The processor inside A605 is different and it's a snapdragon, and samsung + snapdragon makes the bootlogos unchangeable. I've also added a new pitch black Download mode warning with a modern design to all the zips, unfortunately the stage after you press volume up cannot be changed, it will remain blue.
Here is how the bootlogos look like:
And finally, download links

Yes, I already flash with those 4 files combination. And I tried flash the BL part only, it still on custom bootlogo. Even when I flash with newer firmware (october patch update), it still with custom bootlogo.

- Boot your device into download mode (press volume down + home + power at the boot process for around 20 seconds)
- Connect your device (Odin should say "Added")
- Click "start" (Do NOT disconnect your device or power off your computer in the flashing process, it could hardbrick your phone)

I am new to android and i have s4 mini i9190 which had stock rom 4.2.2 jelly bean.
four days ago i installed TWRP using odin but was so scared to install custom rom. Anyway i still made a back of everything(modem, EFS, Boot, System, Cache, Preload and Data). Two days ago i installed CM12.1 and i really liked it but the problem is camera. The pic captured while recording video is in low resolution compare to stock camera. so kind of slow too.
Can i go back to jelly bean using the restore without any problem?
and which restore option should i leave checked.
My knox is 0x1.
Can someone please help me go back to stock rom?
A question the system format is required to install the rom ??
Do anyone know when they stopped producing i9195 and i9195i ? I need to buy the latest version, because my i9195 was made in 2013 and have that battery drain issue even with new batteries...

Touchscreen won't work after installing CM11 from wulsic

i own a samsung galaxy fame duos (GT-S6812). I installed the cm11 rom...till then the screen was working but after a restart the phone screen became unresponsive. i tried wiping data/cache/dalvik cache many times but it didn't work too then i installed the custom rom using odin....but it didn't help me....i then installed cm12.1 (was just hoping that the screen may respond) but it didn't work too.... meanwhile i also installed twrp but the touch screen wasn't responding there too...during all this i raised my custom bin counter to 9 counts.....now i am in a situation where i can't use the phone coz the touchscreen doesn't work nor the list and back button (only power, volume and home buttons work) and i raised my custom bin count to 9 so i can't take my phone to service center and can't reset the custom count without the touchscreen working.........please help anyone:crying::crying:
Same happened with me after flashing cyanogenmod 12.1 and I gave my mobile at Samsung service center and they charged Rs. 2500
Touchscreen wont work
Hi,
I had the same kind of problem also. But it was when I was compiling the kernel for the Galaxy Fame Lite (GT-6790N).
I used the same source code as is in Wulsic's Fame software, which is also used by Karthick to compile his Hyper
Kernel. In both cases the problem arises from the header file used to compile the drivers/input/touchscreen/imagis
files. There are several header files that are used to update the touchscreen driver firmware for different touchscreens.
The firmware file for the Fame Lite is not good and when the kernel is loaded the firmware is updated and causes
the touchscreen to no longer function. When reloading the Samsung software the firmware is not updated again
and stays wrong. To correct this I recompiled the kernel using the firmware file that I downloaded from the original
Samsung source code for my device and forced the firmware update (otherwise it checks for which version, and
the wrong frimware gives a more recent version number). I do not thing either Karthick or Wulsic are aware of this
bug /issue, but it does mean requiring to recompile the kernel. Alternatively you can try and replace the Wulsic ROM
kernel with the original stock kernel from Samsung for your device, and see if the firmware can be corrected.

You can try out to connect a mouse or a keyboard with a USB-OTG cable. Let's hope that Galaxy Fame supports this. Then do the touchscreen actions you need.

Minimalistic android Bootlogo (N/A covered with latest bootloader support)

Hello everyone, I know lots of bootlogo for Moto G4/G4 PLUS are available here on XDA which covers N/A. But I've seen most of them are based on Marshmallow Stock Bootlogo, But latest bootloader (v1.06) has an option 'Switch_tools_mode' which was not available in previous bootloaders. AS a result that option was not covered in most of those bootlogos. I have created a very minimalistic bootlogo from scratch based on latest Nougat NPJS25.93-14-10 firmware which only covers the N/A with least possible white area on bootlogo.
As many Moto G4/G4 PLUS users have screen retention/ screen burn issue (including myself), large bright white area on bootlogo causes screen retention after booting into ROM or TWRP. Keeping this on mind, I tried to create an android logo with a pure black background just covering the N/A spot with white.
I made a TWRP flashable zip file which can change bootlogo from TWRP (no need to flash using fastboot from a computer). Still anyone wanting to flash from fastboot or for those who are on stock recovery , the 'logo.bin' file can be found inside the zip.
Anyone can create bootlogo (I'm out of ideas) with the help of this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/themes/guide-t3588090. And don't forget to use the stock bootlogo from latest Nougat firmware which can be found on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138.
Hope this helped. Happy flashing.

Sorry for late response, due to a super cyclone in my area internet connectivity was unavailable for several days.
What do you mean by stock logo? It'll be helpful if you could provide the logo image in png or jpeg format but remember it has to be pure white in the area of "id:N/A".

By Logo file I meant the image or picture you want as the logo of your device. You see, the stock logo from Moto does not cover the N/A section which is the sole purpose of this thread. Now I think we are not getting each other, so it would be great if you could explain what you actually want. Do you want the stock unmodified bootlogo file from latest firmware update or Do you want a bootlogo from the latest firmware modified with a different picture?

[BOOT ANIMATION] Motorola Series [Project 9 ¾]

I have made some Boot Animations for Motorola phones and would like to share them with the community.
They also come with their own set of Boot Logos, so you don't need to flash any Boot Logo separately in case you are using the Boot Logos I made.
Features :
Full screen animations
Boot Logo + Boot Animation Pack
N/A hidden in Boot Logo
Redesigned bootloader menu
Some other minor changes in boot logo images
These Boot Animations can also be flashed to other Motorola Devices with 1080X1920 screen resolution like:
Moto G4
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G5
Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5s
Moto G5s Plus
Moto X4
Moto Z2 Play
Other Motorola phone users may use the version of the boot animation with motorola written on the image instead of moto g5 plus.
Use VX.0_BA+BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for Moto G5 Plus.
Use VX.1_BA+BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for other Motorola devices.
The file names with DT at the end stand for Boot Logos suited for Dark Theme.
All Boot Animations have been posted on SOURCEFORGE and more would be added in the coming future. The designs have been separated into two folders and further organized inside each folder by version numbers starting with V1. All the zips are functionally the same and you can flash whichever version you like. The only difference is in the text shown on the Boot Logo image. Head down for viewing previews and downloading the boot logos.
Specifications
This pack will only work for custom ROMs
This pack will not work on Stock Motorola ROMs
All the packs contain both Boot Animation and Boot Logo that goes along with the animation
If your ROM has Display Theme based Boot Animation, the corresponding Boot Animation will be automatically played
Flashing another ROM or updating your ROM may remove this Boot Animation. Flash the pack again to get your desired Boot Animation
Existing Boot Animation in your current ROM will be backed up before installing new Boot Animation
If you wish to restore your Boot Animation that came with your current ROM, you can flash Restore Previous Boot Animation.zip given in Boot Animation folder
How to Install (via Custom Recovery)
Download the desired ZIP file to your phone
Boot to your Custom Recovery
Go to Install
Go to the location where you have saved the ZIP file
Install the ZIP file and reboot
Boot Animation Previews
Boot Animation Downloads
If you are unable to download from SOURCEFORGE on your phone, request desktop site from your browser menu to enable download.
Disclaimer: Motorola Logo and Batwing Logo is owned by Motorola Inc. Some of the artworks are not entirely my own creation.

Actually I didn't know. The project was for Potter originally. Since it's for Full HD display, I made post for all Full HD moto phones. The files can be extracted and applied on Android Pie and below too. Just that the installer I made won't work. I had to pretty much make the installer from scratch and I'm not familiar with edify scripts. Android 10 has system as root so the location was different from all older Androids.
Let's see... I'll update if I can and post here.
Thanks for bringing to notice. I thought everyone was on 10 by now.

The mounting of system partition is different for Android 10 and all the versions before it. The code was already convoluted to address the different locations of boot animation by different ROMs. I'll try. I guess some other Moto phones are also on Pie.

Can anyone help I want to flash SM-G988B older official rom to go back to UI 2.1

It is v4 and it worked just fine without triggering the knox.. Did a smart switch & samsung account backup before I downgrade at the version I mentioned (latest before UI 2.5 that is) and everything works just fine. I already feel the difference in battery life.. /sigh
Will probably stay here until UI 3.0 if I don't see any other important feature added. Only some camera features I'll miss but battery is the most important thing and I'm not willing to sacrifice an hour or two of SoT for UI 2.5
Thanks all for your help

How on earth you downgraded from UI 2.5 to UI 2.1. Did you flash without unlocking boot loader or without. i have been trying for so many times in Odin and have been stuck on vbmeta.img in the log. many said its impossible

I used G988BXXS4ATGB/G988BOXM4ATGB (EUR for GR) with security patch 2020-08-01 as I previously mentioned and it didn't stuck at anything.. Passed w/o triggering the knox of course and works like a charm.
Already feel the difference in battery life as I mentioned. Used the standard flash procedure I changed nothing
