I am badly need your help
I bought my new phone LG G5 from ebay and it's locked to T-mobile network with pre-installed app from t-mobile.
the problem is I discovered that the imei is blocked by T-Mobile. I tried an online service to unlock my phone and they said to me that the imei is blacklisted
I found also a service online to unblock (IMEI Cleaning, Unblocking, Unbarring ) so I paid for it and I am waiting for results.

I decide to ask you as an experts in this domain : could I root my phone and unlock it ?
* I am using my phone outside the USA
* my phone details : LG G5 H830 Nougat software v 20o

I hope to be in the right place.
I have an LG L70 D320n Italy not branded (no vodafone, tim, ...)
I ask if someone have the same device if:
* Can I root the device with the instructions for L90 / L70 D325?
* Can I unlock the bootloader with "adb reboot oem-unlock" ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224020 )

Ciao, i have the LG L70 Tim branded, i have rooted with no problem following the step on Xda forum and works perfectly.
Why unlock the bootloader ?
I should be getting LG G4 given that the specs they are using, my question is LG like Samsung which release varies same model like they did with S4, S5, also does LG G4 approve of unlocking bootloader etc?
Too early to know. The tmobile variant will likely be unlocked like the T-Mobile G3. LG could put an updated version of Loki on the G4.

Many H815 owners (Europe) have already unlocked their bootloader.
Visit LG.com , register as a developer and follow the unlocking process outlined by LG.
Back in May when I unlocked mine there was only the H815 on the list.
LG are rolling out the service to other G4 devices.
Monitor the list to see if the code for your device is available.
LG repeatedly warn you of serious issues that unlocking a bootloader may cause but will in the end email you your unlocking code.
Hi, i have been searching over this page, and some others pages, but havent find anything about this model, "h815p", just some threads around july of 2015 and in that time it was imposible to unlock the bootloader,, but it has been 6 months and i have no ideas if is it possible now or not..., any suggestions?
Email from lg directly yesterday they have no intention of unlocking any other g4s other than europe model ok they say ls991 sorry but im sure that means all

Thank you for your interest in LG mobile devices.
Currently, you can only unlock bootloader for LG G4 for the European market with model number H815.
And we have no plan to support bootloader unlocking for LS991.
If there are any changes to the supported devices, we will let you know via our website.

Hello frnds. I just bought LG G4. Its an amazing phone one of the besti have ever had. Ok so i thought of rooting iti lookedupon my model but in device info i think thereis something fishy. I attachedpics. It says H815T but software version isglobal also onboxits H815. So any one please explain?
PS : imei no shows H815 of TIM (Italy) :sad:
Never mind i guess my mobile is h815 coz i put imei and device id on lg site and bootloader is unlocked now
