A few questions about the RN5

I bought Redmi Note 5 Global ( https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_1660531.html?wid=1349303 )
Which is version of this phone? Whyred or Vince? Which ROM's Can I install? From this forum (Redmi Note 5 Pro or Redmi Note 5 / 5 Plus).
And could you tell me a few tips about this phone? Currently, I am using Redmi Note 3, but here is a strange functions like Antirollback etc.

Vince = Redmi 5 Plus China / Redmi Note 5 India / Global

Do not update your miui 9 after 9.5.17 if you wish to be on the safer side.
As long as you stay below miui 9 9.5.17 (& 8.7.5 in case of miui 10) you're safe and can change roms without any problem.

Whyred = Redmi Note 5 Pro for India / Redmi Note 5 everywhere else
Vince = Redmi Note 5 for India / Redmi 5 Plus everywhere else.

No, your device is whyred. You have a Snapdragon 636; Vince has Snapdragon 625. You have dual cameras, Vince is single camera.
If you install a ROM meant for a different device, you will have a nice new brick. Please, use only whyred ROMs on your device.

Codename of my device

Hi good day!, Can someone help me with the codename of my device? I dont know if my device is whyred or not because i saw in others blogs that redmi note 5 has Snapdragon 625 and redmi note 5 pro has 636 but in device name says redmi note 5.

Your are in the right section, you device is Whyred, it's name in india redmi note 5 pro, and the global version name is redmi note 5.

Indian version Redmi 7 is named onc in build.prop and EEA ROM it's onclite. So in effect onc/onclite = Redmi 7 as well as Y3

It's ONCLITE for me. ONC is Redmi Y3.
Redmi Y3 is basically like Redmi 7 just with some better hardware like camera.
You can just look at the file name of the OTA update or download apps like CPU-Z that shows info about your phone.

Yes redmi note 5 pro and redmi note 5 global both use same custom roms. I have global and I use custom Roms from here if that makes you feel safer.

Can i flash Redmi Note 9T EEA Rom in Redmi Note 9 5G China(cannon) device.
I see there is some different in this two device.
