Booting LG X Power after battery replacement , loops test color patterns. - LG X screen Questions & Answers

I had followed step by step instructions exactly as I had found online to replace the internal battery to the LG X Power, however, when I power it up, it goes into a color test pattern loop instead of the LG boot screen. It loops over and over and I can`t seem to get it to boot to the recovery screen. Only the test patterns. I`ve heard it make a received notification sound, and the volume control works too. I`m not sure if the USB debugging was set in it either. Any ideas?

Dont worry i have figured it out.
To everyone else who has this issue i have put a step by step below.
Plug charger In and wait for sony logo to appear
Once sony logo comes up leave charger in but take battery out
then when screen goes off put battery back in
Thats it the phone will then boot without taping any buttons, just remember keep the charger in all time when starting up

thanks guy, I had this problem and tried just about everything. this worked great
i gave my sony xperia L to a family member, also the power button has given up due to wear and tear. i happen to google this page to look for answers, it did not work, but made mine work but not this method, for reference sake ill post mine it might help others.
1. phone is off, with battery on, insert charger cable slightly and remove it quickly enough to power it on, the red led will lit up.
2. wait for sony logo then remove battery while in the logo.
3. wait for 10 secs before putting back the battery.
4. do again the first step 1. but this time the red led must not lit up, but a sony logo only will appear then it will turn on, if the red led lit up means it will not turn on but a battery icon will just show up, so repeat the step 1, and be ready to remove the battery when the sony logo appears. just do it repeatedly, sometimes it takes 3 times to make it work.
its kinda messing up the system for it to boot up, probably will work with other units just find the right combination. then install a shake app or proximity on off app so you can lock and unlock the display.
It Works.

[Q] Bricked LG G3 (Stuck on logo)

I Cannot recall doing anything wrong with my LG i woke up one morning and it was black screened with a small headline in tiny font at the top saying 'fastboot mode enabled' from then on I tried restarting it and trying all the hardware methods of factory restoring it however it does not respond to these requests? I am fully aware that all hardware on the phone is working it just wont respond and displays the LG logo screen for a long period of time until it then black screens as displays what i explained i found it like above? I have researched and not found any methods of restoring my LG G3 that work. for example one method requires you to hold the volume up button whilst plugging a USB into the bottom of the phone, this is meant to display the firmware screen however mine just displays the logo. Does anyone have any advice on what i should do to reset my phones software if the hardware resets are not responding?
Many Thanks

Lg G3 screen stuck on boot screen

Very strange problem. I have a LG G3 D855 for 1 and a half years now(rooted)
My phone was at a very low percentage, and I heared it go out. Happens to everybody, nothing strange so far.
I connected it to the charger and I turned it on, i heared the startup noise, but nothing happened. No pincode screen or unlock screen. Stuck at LG life is good screen. I actually was able to take a screenshot, i heared that sound when pressing power and volume down key. I know it is just right away from the main screen, but why is my screen freezing at startup logo? Tried to hard reset and clear all data, then I get a secure confirmation (verify) error. then my led starts to flash red and blue. Battery taking out and still no success.
How to fix this? Also screen is recognizing touch at the startup screen (when it fades away i click on it and it turns brighter)
EDIT: I blindly went into whatsapp and i am able to type and answer calls blindly wtf. Now I got a blue screen, everything is operational, the screen is blue now
Phone is functional, the screen is stuck on boot (life is good screen or blue screen)
How to fix?
Lol, the day after I hit my phone on the screen and restarted it and it worked again! I really dont know how it works again, but lmao! Also my secure boot sector is not working, that problem has nothing too do with this fixed one.

Stuck in low battery boot loop

Hello, Huawei gadget friends.
My watch started to go in to a "low power boot loop" a week ago so I left it alone hoping a full drain would restore it back to working condition, but alas not.
So now this is the situation:
1) press button, nothing happens
2) connect to power shows the charging icon (white battery with power sign) and then after a few mins commences a boot loop as follows
3) from the charging icon, then gives the "Device software can't be checked for corruption..." message
4) followed by the red Huawei logo, then a single vibrate and then back to step 3 above
5) removing the watch from the charger stops the boot loop but then shows the low battery icon (white battery with one bar).
In one or two occasions, I saw it boot up to the colorful spinning 4 android wear logo, but did not complete (did not show "Android Wear" before rebooting again.
I have tried getting it to recovery mode screen or fastboot but without success -- I keep getting the second buzz without fail.
When the beta of 1.5 came out, I tried it, but since then, have wiped my mac and don't have the adb/fastboot software anymore. From reading the forums, there is now some new software called TWRP. Please advise what I can do.
Would I be right to suspect that it is some battery problem? Is it beyond help? :crying:
Thanks in advance!
MMM
Edit: I have also left it on for several hours charging (and rebooting constantly), thinking that perhaps it is just low battery -- but no success.
I'm experiencing the same problem, i turned it off yesterday at 17% and connected to the pc this morning to charge. I immediately noticed that it started looping with the white icon and it doesn't turn on, nor boots into download mode.
Have you found any way to restore it?
Mine doesn't show the red HW logo, charged for some hours and nothing.
I noticed that the pc see that there's something connected, but keeps saying "USB not recognized". I don't know what to do, i may open up and disconnect the battery
EDIT: SOLVED, it was just the cable that broke somehow. I soldered a new cable to the circular base but that didn't work, but as soon as i received this i connected to the pc and started pressing the button randomly till it showed the battery logo and started charging
I got this when I plugged it into my laptop. Plugging it into a dedicated USB charger solved my problem - I suspect the power rating on the USB socket wasn't high enough to charge effectively or that the USB socket is faulty in some other way. From what I understand, not all USB sockets are equal in that some are suitable for high-drain devices, some not so much. So trying another USB port on your computer may also help (Unfortunately at the time I was backing up to an external HDD on the other USB so that option wasn't open to me).
guyz, i have tried my method it actually worked on Xperia X Perfomance
When it goes to Bootloop for Drained battery, i just plug the cable and perform activity block method By pressing and holing power and both volume up and down and when it hits the 1st viberation i just simply release the key. (remember dont hold it too much long after 1st single viberation just release the keys ) and your phone will go to block activity mode. charging light will change it colors from red to blue.. after 2 minutes just press power button then you ll get another viberation and your phone will be seen as charged 2% and then it will be normal again...
i think it happens when battery drained and phone is unexpectedly trying to go boot in first place.
thank you

S8+ constantly restarting

Last Saturday night my Verizon S8+ suddenly began to freeze. It would do it with many different applications so I don't feel it is associated with one in particular. It then would restart and would hang at the Samsung splash screen. I was able to boot into maintenance mode and then select safe mode. It would boot to safe mode and would function as expected but then without warning restart again. I took the phone in to a local repair shop who said it could be the battery. Replaced the battery and it seemed to work but then started the boot loop again. Since the battery didn't fix the issue I did get a refund. At any rate after letting the phone sit on the wireless charger overnight it did appear to have fully charged and I was able to boot it up normally. There are some pictures that I needed to get off the phone so I plugged it in to my PC and started copying files over. After about 3 minutes it restarted on it's own and the whole boot loop process again. Now be aware that I know just enough about what I'm doing to be dangerous so here is what transpired next. I started pushing a combination of the power button, the bixby button and the volume up and down buttons and managed to get into the downloading a custom OS menu (see attachment 1) I didn't feel comfortable with this so the screen clearly said if you want to download a custom OS press the volume up key otherwise press the volume down key to cancel. Well I must have fat thumbed the volume down key and by accident pressed the volume up key. Upon rebooting it tried to perform a software update but would give an error message file not found. After several attempts to bypass this screen with a combination of pushing the buttons I was able to boot the phone into recovery mode (see attachment 2) and that is where it is right now. Good news is it hasn't tried to reboot so obviously it in a boot area ahead of whatever was causing the issue to begin with. I also note that the blue charge light indicator seems to be glowing from dim to bright as if I am charging the phone but I don't have the cable connected. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I am hopeful that one of you Android technical gurus could advise me of a way to recover the functionality of my phone through this menu? I have attached a couple of screen shots relevant to my issue. Please help and thank you in advance for any assistance.
Jim
