Fullscreen Gestures - How to force close an app? - Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
as some apps become unresponsive from time to time i really like the option of setting longpress of the back hardware key to "close current app" on my Mi Max 2.
But how can i force close an app by gesture in the Mi Max 3?
Thanks

Pull from bottom up, but don't release (hold) and multitasking will appear. Swipe an app left or right to dismiss it (close).

Okay thanky Johnny. So this is always a two-step thing and can't be attached to a special gesture?

actually, it's swipe up from "multitask" to close an app on the Max 3, at least on the "Global" ROM anyway...

Torch on Samsung Galaxy without App
You do not need any app to install to use as Torch on Samsung.
Just go to the App drawer and then tap the “Widgets” tab on the top, to open all the available widgets. You will see a 1×1 widget named “Assistive light” which is the one you need to hold and place it as a widget somewhere on one of the home screens.

[MiBand2] App to get a channel in IFTTT.com for Mi Band 2

Mi Band 2 channel
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.miband2.miband2ifttt
Trigger for IFTTT.com by double-clicking Mi Band 2.
Works with the Webhooks service.
For the settings, see the images below.
If the app does not connect to MiBand2 or is connected, but does not work, you need to turn Bluetooth off and on, and after that the app will connect and work stably.
IMPORTANT!
The IFTTT.com service does not work instantly, sometimes it takes 30 minutes after double-clicking on MiBand2 before IFTTT processes the message.

Bugs After Android 8.1

Hi, I've just updated my pixel C to Android 8.1 but I have noticed several bugs. The problems are about the navbar, when you touch the back button or recent apps it shows the typical animation but there is a bug that make it ends earlier. I think you are going to understand me with the pictures.
And the second problem is when you restart the tablet and it comes back to life the navbar looks like the third picture. And when I press something in the screen it changes to the "original" design. Does it happens to you?
Thank you.

Shortcut on Home screen puzzle

I'm driving myself crazy looking for the option in settings to add a home screen shortcut. A while ago I added a shortcut for battery stats somehow and can't find the option now. Anyone help me out to find where it is in settings ?
Try at either in the Mi Browser, or search in the widgrt menu.

A battery stats shortcut
Finally found it, it's in Security app settings. Very strange place to hide it
This setting should be elsewhere, took me hours to find

Don't you have this screen where it shows refresh rate under display, just tap the refresh rate you want.
