EDIT: installing Mi Suite fixed the problem
Just bought a Mi Max 3, it came with China Stable MIUI 9.6.6 installed
Upgraded from a Mi Max 2, which I had previously unlocked a year ago
I intend to use the phone in Canada
Problem: trying to unlock bootloader and Mi Unlock doesn't recognize phone
Steps I've been using:
I run Mi Unlock and sign in
I power off phone, then power into Fastboot mode (power & vol. down)
Plug phone in
Mi Unlock doesn't detect device

EDIT: OOPS, just saw you solved it, my bad...
Did you plug the phone to your PC beforehand in "normal mode" to make sure all the drivers were installed? Also, did you enable USB debugging in the Developer options on the phone itself? And finally, did you used an USB 2.0 (you won't be able to unlock the phone using a USB 3 port, funny story...)

Please help me with my Asus Zenfone 2 4gb rom/64gb storage variant.
I used to be rooted in my Zenfone 2, now it is not. The funny thing about here is I could no longer do the Power Button + Up Vol Key, because after doing the I only go to this USB logo.
Then here is what I did next, since I can still boot normally my Zenfone 2. I downloaded the latest firmware from Asus using System Update and I tried to install it, then it reboot but ended up with this USB logo again.
The next thing I did is connect my Zenfone 2 to my laptop and did the usual procedure of flashing a pre-root firmware. So what I did do the ADB DEVICES and my device is there and then ADB BOOTLOADER REBOOT, so my Zenfone 2 rebooted, but then again it ended up with the USB logo.
And I'm left with this frustration and stuck with my Zenfone 2.

after having the IMEI, i give my mail address and now?? i can't submit the form

point 3.3 : On your device, press the Fastboot key (Volume up for most devices, see Useful key combinations) at the same time as you connect the other end of the USB-cable.
press fastboot key while connecting usb cable doesn't do everything

Are you running Windows?
If so, have you checked the device manager.
There should be no Yellow Triangle or Question Mark like this near the S1Boot Fastboot Device

I didn't get around this yet, but as soon as I got the driver installed, I guess unlocking will become as easy as eating cake...
I actually discovered a solution that could help getting around all this troubles. It's a boot stick called mAid and can be found here

I've had my MI9SE unlocked for some time, but after bad manipulations, I've reinstalled stock ROM and relocked the bootloader. I've been trying to unlock it again since to no avail.

Obviously my account is added in MIUI's setting, USB debug is on. I've also tried to reset the phone twice.Tried with another computer (and other USB ports), different mi flash unlock versions. With and without Mi cloud & find my phone.
I also tried to sign out and sign in with the dev option by adding my account in the Mi unlock status option.
I tried finding a solution online and on the mi community without success. I'm out of idea.
Is there something I can do now?

I'm facing "Find device storage corrupted. Your device is unsafe now" error is my phone. I want to fix this issue, But I can't unlock my bootloader with Mi unlock tool. Every time I'm trying to unlock the bootloader, Can't Get Info Connect Again error comes. My device verification was successful but still, I'm getting this issue. You can see it in the screenshot. I'm following everything before trying to unlock.
Already Enabled
Enable Developer option
OEM Unlock
USB debugging
Mi account bind permission
fastboot
USB drivers already install
I have the latest version of mi unlock tool. Also, I'm already try the previous version but nothing works

I have a problem with my Xiaomi 13 Pro when I tried to flash the "V14.0.22.0.TMBEUXM" ROM via Fastboot with the MiFlash application. After flashing my Xiaomi got stuck in Fastboot mode after displaying an error on screen. Unfortunately I checked the option that re-lock the bootloader after flashing and now it is locked.
Now I can't flash other Custom ROM:

I tried to re-unlock the bootloader via MiUnlock and ADB but it does not recognize the device (I cannot activate USB debugging mode because the system not start).
