Mi6 with 9.x Pie in Boot Loop Need Help! - Xiaomi Mi 6 Questions & Answers

Hi All,
I know there are ALOT of Boot Loop Threads and I have lurked through them to try and find a solution to my problem, however to no avail.
I have a MI6 with the global Google Rom 9.x Pie on it. I had a friend help me with the process. However it all of a sudden started "clicking" the power button command and restarting by itself which it would re boot fine. Then it stopped rebooting the ROM and gets 5 seconds into the Google G Logo loading sign and then restarts again. Im not entirely sure what to do here as in order to flash it i would need it to be recognise USB or get it into fastboot mode and wipe the data, but that does the same thing.
I also cant stop it from turning on by itself, it starts up by itself and turns off by itself.
( i have needed to remove links as i need 10 posts which is REALLY annoying... but warranted im sure)
ROM OS Version: 9.x Pie

Folks I have an update on the phone,
Turns out the phone had a torn ribbon power cable ( manufacturer fault) which was going to go at any minute anyway. So this was not a software issue but a hardware issue.
replied for referencing as this is a common manufacturer fault.
Cheers

Does your power button working properly?

Download link is broken, btw.
--
But anyways, it's working PERFECTLY! (just edited the broken link to the project folder https://sourceforge.net/projects/redmiy2-dev)
The only issue I was having, I solved it myself and I'll post here the solution if someone needs it:
- Whatsapp was not reading the QRCODE for the whatsapp.web or whatsapp desktop. All I needed to do was to remove this line from system/vendor/build.prop:
- camera.hal1.packagelist=com.whatsapp, com.instagram.android (or something like that, just search for whatsapp and remove the one with hal1 in it)
whoa android 11 :cyclops:
thanks for sharing! :fingers-crossed:

Well, i don't know how to say the meaning but before flashing this ROM, i flashed Official MIUI 12 ROM to get the latest firmware then i clean flash this Android 11 ROM
OctaviOS-v1.2-ysl-20201115-1424-GAPPS-Official.zip
CLEAN FLASH :
-Reboot to recovery (OK)
-Take Backup (OK)
-Flash your firmware (I have flashed V12.0.2.0.PEFMIXM as recommended in the RevengeOS 4.0 theme. After that, Mi logo changed to Linux aka Tux logo. And now I can't enter Bootloader Mode )
-Reboot To Recovery (OK)
-Wipe System, Vendor, Cache, Dalvik Cache and Data (OK)
-Flash the ROM (A few seconds after the start of the firmware process, the phone rebooted and hung on the Tux logo. I booted into recovery and saved dmesg.log and recover.log. I looked through the logs, did not notice anything useful, but I can send it if necessary.)
-Flash the ROM again (This time, the firmware process was successful)
-Reboot (OK)
I have been using this ROM for only a few hours, but almost no problems have been found. Of the minuses, I noticed only a light theme in the camera settings with a system dark theme. There is no usual call recording, but probably for this I need to change the dialer. Too much Google for me. I usually install Pico Gapps. Therefore, I changed the launcher to CPL (Customized Pixel Launcher).
P.S. Tux logo is my new bootloader mode, I can use fastboot commands in this mode. I liked the Xiaomi battle bunny better
Been using this for a couple of hours.
General Observations:
As of November 11, Messages will not activate "Bubbles". Maybe it's not on the ROM, but on the app itself. Even if I allow it in the General Notifications Settings (in the Messages settings, there is no Bubbles setting)
Fast and Smooth
Battery good
Good Kernel
Minor Bugs:
Bubbles are working. I tried Textra and Messenger. In multiple conversations, Bubbles become buggy.
Thank you for this amazing rom. Android 11 is wow.
There is a problem I'm facing though. My camera isn't working no matter which camera app I try. This is a big problem for me.
I hope the next update will fix this.
I've been using the latest version (1.3 Official with Cannon+ Kernel built on Dec 1, 2020)
PROS:
Faster and smoother than the previous A11 build
No more freezes and lags (except when I disabled "Restricted Mode" in YouTube Vanced, I had to restart)
Good Battery
Bubbles is better.
CONS:
Play the Bluetooth Settings on the Quick Settings tile when trying to pair a new device. See it goes crazy.
Long-Pressing on the Home Screen and entering the Styles and Wallpaper, and trying to customize the clock, fonts, etc. will not change anything and just force terminate the app. To successfully customize, use the Settings Menu.
First Flash of NikGapps with Google Messages, Bubbles will work. But when you update the Messages app, Bubbles will not work. This is Google's Android fault, not the ROM.
Hello.
Another bug concerning the Google Photos app and the Gallery Go app. Sometimes viewing photos full screnn will show black blank images. But the thumbnail images show the pictures. You have to restart the app or restart the phone to properly view the pictures.
This is concerning the latest 1.3 Build of A11.
netflix not compatible at this ROM ?
On 1.3 :
- Back gesture doesn't functionnal
- When disable Dark theme, it doesn't possible to always re-enable it.
- Transparent QS doesn't functionnal
I have installed 1.2 :
- Very good rom ! Stable and good battery life
- Missing round corner screen setting
- Like mentionned above, whatsapp qrcode reading doesn't work
Hello Its MØHÎT
Here I wnat to test your rom in beta
hi can anyone tell me which devices supported with this rom??
Version 1.2 : Fingerprint doesn't work in application
Question : If I update 1.2 to 1.3, is the google app and store continue to works ? or 1.3 will delete it ?

It will continue to work, it's called dirty flash. But clean flash is always best.
