Brawl Stars not working on rooted device - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3. And it's running a ROM called Mokee open source project. And it's pretty good and I wish to play Brawl stars but I can't because of root. I tried various methods to unroot it like using Super SU and then uninstalling stuff like that, but it still doesn't work. So I was wodering if there was a way to make it so Brawl stars doesn't detect root? Or a way to unroot? And also what happens if I delete the su file in the xbin for the ROM zip and installed it? Would that get rid of root? help plzzzz

Isn't there an option in supersu to uninstall? Next time root with magisk and apps can't detect it if done right.

You can also use towel root to the AT&T S3 if it's on Android 4.3 or higher.

How?

How do you make it so that apps don't detect Magisk? I tried magisk hide but doens't work.
and also is there and app that can disable the app from recognizing root? I went inside the app xml file and there was this permission command read phone status.

The root is a built in feature in the ROM

Don't know if this will help:

[Q] Removing a r/o system app

I am trying to remove the SPG.apk (I believe that's Verizon's tether block application) from a stock rom that is already installed on my phone. I tried using root explorer however it won't let me. I believe there is a way to use adb to do this? If so, what would the command lines be?
use
Code:
adb uninstall <package name>

To delete anything off the /system partition in root explorer, you need to mount the it r/w first. There is a button on the top that should say "Mount R/W". You need to press that before deleting anything.
Root Explorer will let you remove anything you want.
Provided you click the Mount R/W button in the top right first.....

He's gotta be if he's running root explorer. It won't run if you don't have root.
Def rooted, however removing the app I listed below just messed things up. Anybody know how to remove the Verizon tether block without installing a custom rom

I wasn't sure if root explorer would function as a normal file manager without root. Especially considering he said he is running s stock rom.

Nope. It won't run without root. The developer has another file explorer called "Explorer" as opposed to "Root Explorer", and that one runs without root.

If you keep losing root on 4.3 (Solution here- NO PC needed)

Here's a solution if you are as unfortunate as I am with the 4.3 and keep losing root.
Install vroot from market.
Open it and run root.
Repeat 2x.
Reboot.
Go to market and install SuperSu apk
Got to Chainfire site and download SuperSU-v1.89.zip
Reboot in recovery and flash the zip you downloaded. (for my piece of mind, I flashed TWICE).
Reboot. You should now have root.
If not, repeat process.
NOTE - There are many ways to root, but it seems, this is the only one that has kept my root privileges and no need of PC.
Hope this helps
explains how it works in more detail the recovery will not let me put the zip SuperSU I have the factory recovery

Is this your first time rooting? If so, you need a custom recovery first. Either TWP (latest version) or CWM (latest). To install those, you need Odin and must use PC so it can push recovery into phone
I'm curious why you use vroot (which roots your phone) and also flash root? Why not run vroot, download su, open stand allow it to update binaries? I used vroot from my pc, but I imagine the app works the same. In a side not installing a recovery and rooting with just the app should not trip knox, mine didn't

I've tried vroot on its own. I've tried to just flash SuperSU. I've also tried to use vroot plus updating binaries on supersu. Kept losing root. LoL. This seems to hold it.

Flashback?

I think I need to do a Flashback on my Tablet so I can truly root it. I've tried a few ways to root it and all have failed. SuperUser won't open at all. Tried to Towelroot, even tried Stump Root and Stump says the device is already rooted, but I know it's not...
Just noticed I posted this in the wrong forum.

Ok was able to run the SU Zip through CWM and had it rebooted after it was completed. Once it was on. I looked around on the Tablet and SU isn't installed. Running Root Checker Pro and it says the Devices appears to be running very Slow... Been on this screen for a few mins already.
Edit: Went back into CWM and Re-Booted... When I clicked on it a new page loaded and had an option to Fix Root... Choose it and Re-booted.
Downloaded SU from Google Play and it worked now... HUGE THANKS....
Well Crap... Says it's rooted. Xmod is getting Permission from Super User.. Mod installed in the Game... launch from xMod and the Game Crashes.
Ok opened SU and it triggered KNOX... Clicked to let SU to try and disable KNOX.... Been on that Screen for 5min so far...I also get a Security Notice Stating Unauthorized access to a secured area has been blocked.
..........................................................................
Unistalled SU and Restalled it. Let SU try and Fix KNOX again... Fixed it in just a Few Seconds.
Wroking 100% Now. The last issue was with XMod not the root.
BIG THANKS

Anyone get their 5x rooted with Android pay working?

I tried the systemless root method several times.. None of it works.
If my superSU app says I'm rooted, Android pay doesn't work. Only way to get it working again is if I UNROOT using the superSU tool.

Root with the systemless root method, and delete "/su/xbin_bind". Android Pay will work. However, you might break root compatibility with older apps that haven't been updated.

Can confirm this allowed me to add my CC again, have not yet tried paying yet. I have 2.66 beta, and using AdAway, TiBu, and Greenify. So far no issues.
am I deleting the whole SU folder? or just the XBIN_BIND?

yes, mine definitely works.
FYI, greenify breaks it, just having it installed for me (even if disabled)
adaway does not have to though, long as you flash the systemless hosts zip file before installing and applying it

Is anyone using Magisk?

If so, can you post a little about the initial setup? If you want to change kernels do you have to resort back to stock each time?
I understand you need to be completely stock when you install it the first time, I assume with an unlocked bootloader?
I got magisk running smoothly. I can share if anyone wants.

I use Magisk on all Nougat roms. I haven't had any luck with "Chainfires" SuperSU v2.78 or any other version for that matter. I think the set up requires a couple more steps that just flashing a SuperSu zip like the one we are all used to but the benefits that come with Magisk are worth it and it just plain works. And if you use the Magisk manager you can also toggle SElinux on and off and turn root on and off for apps that require no root.. I have been on board since N hit and we has no working root accept for this, and once I used it I was hooked.

Yes, please, if you don't mind. It's a bit of information overload in the magisk thread. I've been watching it intently as the program has developed. Just haven't pulled the trigger on flashing yet.

What I did was use the nexus root toolkit to unlock my bootloader (replacement phone) then followed this guide
http://blog.meltedpeng.com/easiest-way-to-install-systemless-root-and-xposed-on-your-nexus-5/
But I replaced the su with the phh super user from magisk.
I also did Franco kernel.
If I need to explain more let me know.

I flashed Magisk v 12, but not showing up in the Magisk manager app.
I'm on Google Pixel ROM(rooted), with SuperSU.
I thought that the installation guide on the Magisk site said that Magisk would over write SuperSU.
Whats your setup, and what process did you use to get Magisk working?

Magisk does not overwrite supersu, if it detects supersu it does not install it's own superuser version. It continues to allow the system use supersu.
If you want to use magisk and use magisk's su, then you'd need to use a rom that does not come rooted and then flash magisk.

A lot of apps won't work if they detect root, or if the SafetyNet won't pass. Android Pay is one of them, but a lot of banking apps, Pokemon Go, Mario Run, etc won't work.

The modules are worth it. I only use a few for the camera, like 60fps video or EIS, and they're quite nice.
