Dears - Help - Unlock Moto G 5 - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Dears,
I got my cell phone stolen, IT'S MYSELF!
It is now blocked and a colleague has informed me that I need to downgrade it to gain access.
I have seen the official steps of google, to enter the site of recovery of the account, to signal the account there and to wait for 24/72 hours, however I want to solve now.
Can anyone pass the steps to do here by the pc?
I do not master android but I am a programmer.
Tks,
Fernando Santos

I think you are asking for FRP (factory reset protection) bypass. This is when you have forgotten the login for the google account on the device.
There a difference between the different G5 models so I suggest you search on your device model for FRP bypass.

I don't have this device but, the following area of the forum is specific to your device and variants.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5
With that guidance...
I can only assume that you may be able to obtain some member guidance within one of the following threads that's specific to your device as well.

Null IMEI Fix?

My Gemini PDA is suffering from missing IMEIs, due in no doubt to an issue while I was trying to update my device. At present, I have a pure Android installation, which appears to be operating 100% fine (including WiFi). The only issue is that there are two missing IMEIs, so no telephony.
I sadly do not have a backup of NVRAM, so I am presently dead in the water. I have looked at several MTK IMEI writers, but I cannot get anything to work. Much of the software to manipulate MTK-based devices appears woefully out of date.
Can anyone help? I thank you in advance.

Great news -- I reached out to Planet's support team, and after providing them with a scan of my label (to provide the IMEIs), bluetooth and MAC addresses, they produced an NVRAM file along with detailed flashing instructions.
Kudos to Planet for great support. I have never received this kind of assistance from any other OEM. Needless to say, I immediately signed up at Indiegogo for the Cosmo as a way of saying thanks.

I contacted support via email to [email protected].
Note that the NVRAM partition is unique to a specific phone, since it includes your IMEI as well as other unique information. I did not try to dissect the file to see how hard it might be to adapt it to another device.
The method on this XDA Thread works fine for me.
I confirmed my Gemini 4G shows my IMEI on Setting->System->About Phone->Status->IMEI Information->IMEI (Slot 1)
[GUIDE] Restore IMEI number after an NVRAM clear
This thread will go over restoring the IMEI number if you cleared the NVRAM (or fully formatted your phone). The official tool to use is the SN Writer tool from Mediatek but as the P60 processor is not compatible with that, I had to search for...

Why are there no Downloads available ?

Hello,
maybe one of you can help out with an actual tutorial/step by step and avialable and actual download links ?
i have here an Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 of an Friend and he want to use it with his german SIM Card. The device itsels is from and locked with
DRE Three (3 Hutchison) SIM network lock from Austria.
Android 4.1.2 ( Flashed back to it from Lineageos 14.1 )
TWRP (also back to stock for 4.1.2)
And this guys from Three want 50€ for an Unlock for a Smartphone that is so old and no longer in a contract. Thats rediculous.
So when i understand it corretly if the old method doesnt work because there is no entry
Service MENU: *#197328640# or with other like Lineageos *#*#197328640#*#*
MENU NOT EXIST
Current Command is 186
A simple way is to flash a new Modem ?!
Or change/flash a nv_data.bin ?!
The Problem with your website here is that the informatiosn are spread around everywhere and when you have found a good thread than the Downloads got removed like here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/17-02-2013-samsung-network-sim-unlock-t1731931
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/leaked-firmware-i9300xxugmk6-android-4-t1835931
Why isnt the OLDER version of the Unlocker available ?
Why got the firmware Downloads removed and not replaced ???
Why no Info ? Links ? Why everything so complicated ?
Also for other models not only this old one.

I don't have this variant myself and it looks like your inquiring about "SIM Unlocking" the device.
The following thread should still be good for what you're looking to do that's specific to your device and variants. Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within it too.

If necessary (and you don't receive any responses from the above thread) you can always try to obtain some member guidance within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device and variants as well.

EDIT: I had just noticed the following thread and wanted to bring it to your attention as well since it also seems (not completely sure) to be regarding your topic as well.

sigh, yes I am embarrased at what I did but I have bricked my Mi Pad 5 and need a hand. Background:
- new Mi Pad 5 China hardware but with Global ROM flashed by the vendor I bought from
- the Mi Pad started up fine and I logged into my google and Mi accounts with no issues
- noticed the bootloader was unlocked and that google play said device is not certified
- I used fastboot OEM LOCK *very stooooopid* and the device rebooted
- on start up is says "This miui version can't be installed on this device" and now it's bricked
- tried to wipe data but no luck same error
- tried miunlock tool but it tells me I have to bind my id to the device :-(
- tried XiaoMiTool V2 but it is also stuck
- tried Mi pc suite but it will not detect the mi pad
Is there way way to simply recovery back to the latest chinese version of the rom - feels like I am stuck between a rock and a hardplace :-(
Thx in advance for your help, FredT

still looking for a solution....

Unlock again, install stock china rom, factory reset and lock bootloader
yeah when I try to unlock it now it says that I have to bind my MI id again but I can't boot MIUI to do that - so really stuck as it won't let me unlock
when I try oem unlock I get:
C:\Users\fredp\Downloads\miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.24>.\fastboot.exe oem unlock
...
FAILED (remote: Token Verify Failed, Reboot the device
)
finished. total time: 0.014s

How did you unlock it in the first place? Maybe use the same method? Mine (pro 5g) came with CN ROM with the bootloader locked, so I had to go through the usual procedure of binding my Mi account and waiting for 7 days to unlock the bootloader. I used Mi Unlock as Xiaomi suggests.
Mine came from the seller with the global rom installed even on the CN hardware so they went through that process which in retrospective was not such a great idea, my mistake was that I did not bind my ID to the device before trying to lock it.
I don't know if you solved your problem, but when this kind of things happened with Xiaomi phones, you needed someone with an authorized Xiaomi account that could log in Xiaomi flasher and unlock your device for you. I remember seeing a guy from Russia who did this procedure for many people over the k20 pro fórum (he charges 20us I think)
Sorry for the kind of generic information but it's been sometime I saw this and can't quite remember the details. Try to search for more info about that in k20 pro fórum.
What I can tell you is that if you find the right person to do it for you it's quite easy and fast. I think he does it over TeamViewer.
Anyway, don't give up. It is totally recoverable

How was this fixed? I also have the same problem(locking the bootloader after flashing and bricking it).
I tried to reachout to {Mod edit} and already paid for the service fee, and I am feeling that this is a SCAM, i have been waiting for a day and still no progress with this. Im confused if this is really a thing for our bricked units. Hope they were just really busy and not a scam.

Update on my transaction with {Mod edit}, it is legit! Cant beleive they revived my mi pad 5. This thread is a big help. Thanks!

But how can we suggest a solution to people with bricked device if this is the only option available?

Question Bootloader unlock

How can I unlock the bootloader on a realme c21y
Seriously!!!!! Have you not read he other posts that tell you how????
Please search the forums before asking repetitive questions.
The mtkclient is a workaround tool for MTK devices If you have Qualcomm then you needto wait for realme to release it.

Unisoc processor
Edit: retracted
@MrMiyamo apologies didn't realise, you learn something everyday. Speaking to XDA seems we will be having a joint c21/C21y so wilL mean that when we post a method or twrp we will need to state if possibly will be on both devices or just one or the other
Does it make sense for the C21Y to share this forum? I'd guess some of the other realme MTK models would have more in common. Some C21 stock firmware has references to RMX3061 in the file name and that model is the C20. Anyway, all you can do is post which models are known to work and which are known not to.
BTW, except for dev work and testing are there any good reasons to unlock the boot loader yet?
I had brought issue up with XDA, due to the phone not being a big market share, that the 2 different phone models to share the same forums, I had expressed concerns that people may try to flash wrong firmwares etc due to different chips etc , so we just need to be careful as to what the title of each posts are and or the information in those posts.
As for bootloader unlock. Always a good reason, testing phone limits, trying to build new roms or recovery etc

Funnily enough, when I wrote that I didn't think I need an unlocked boot loader until some stable custom rom came out, but looking at all the different sites that my phone wants to connect to outside of the Googleplex I decided a few days ago that it needs a firewall on it to restrict outbound connections if I'm ever to use it outside my own LAN. It's seems preferable to me to run an iptables based firewall e.g. AFWall+ which requires root rather than the ones that don't and rely on the tunneling interface Android provides for user-mode VPN clients. Gaining root is also useful to back up all partitions of course and it seems the way to acquire root is best done through an unlocked boot loader and magisk.

Question [CLOSED] OnePlus 11 outgoing incoming not working

Hello everyone,
Hope everything is fine with everyone except my phone. Yesterday, I don't know exactly how, buy my phone stopped receiving or making calls my both SIM network signals are showing, SMS working, Data working but calls are not.
I searched on internet done everything it possibly suggested but still no solution, can you please help me?
Solutions I used:
Reset Network settings, removed phone and related apps caches
One solution didn't work on my phone: change the network coverage from LTE to lower like 2g,3g... Phone code isn't working... I didn't find those settings from my phone settings.
(Edit: I forget to mention my phone is Chinese, I've read in this forum that Chinese phones stop working after 2 weeks and I've passed two weeks after buying and verifying with my govt. I paid tax more than half of the value of my phone to my govt to unblock me imei # .. I think I can't install any other custom ROM to make this phone work because my IMEI # would be changed and I've to register those again with my govt)
Regards,
The only solution so far has been to take/send the phone to an official Oppo/OnePlus service center to unlock it.

What if I install another custom ROM or official global ROM? Would this change my IMEI #?
If so is there any way I can keep my same IMEI # registered with my govt and upgrade to another ROM?

Flashing non-native ROMs is extremely risky and may results in a bricked device and yes, lost, IMEIs.
