Internal storage have nothing to do with your problem. Your problem is SDcard.
Can you mount it in Windows when phone is connected to PC?
Or use any adapter to put your sdcard into PC and repair it from there.
If it's repairable. If it's not, you'll have to format it.
Also, maybe it's broken so there is nothing you can do it about it, but to use another sdcard

[Q] SD card not writable

I have a Verizon LG G3 with a 16 gig SD card from a previous smart phone. I am rooted. None of the applications seem to be able to write to this card except Root Explorer.
What must I do to use this storage?
Thanks.

Write access to ext_sd card failing with latest Lollipop update [solved]

Just wanted to give this specific issue with write access to ext SD card for 3rd party apps its own thread. The fix is not mine, found it in another thread with different problem.
After upgrading my HTC One M8 to Lollipop, apps that need write access to the ext SD will get a (confusing) screen in which you need to approve access to the ext SD card.
This is due to Google's new APIs for apps accessing the ext SD card.
However the Documents app in which you can select the ext SD card for write/delete operation, will crash if the ext SD card is not labelled/named.
The fix is simple: use your laptop/PC to label the SD card.

Write to external SD under Marshmallow

Probably asked a million times but I can't find a definitive answer:
Since upgrading my G4 to Marshmallow I am no longer able to write to the external SD card. Some apps can (i.e. Solid Explorer), but that seems to be coded somehow into these apps.
Is there anything global I can do (like modifying platform.xml in KitKat)? If not: what would be the best way to make use of the external SD card? I do NOT want to format it for use as internal SD card. I would prefer to use it as semi external storage as I did before.
Kind regards,
Robert

How do I move apps from Internal storage to SD card

Trying to root my phone but got locked out for a few days, can anyone confirm that you can move apps to SD card after rooting, tried another non-root way that turned your sd-card to internal storage but couldnt see how much storage was being used by what app so if its anything like that Im prolly gonna hold off on rooting.
