I just received my S7 Active from eBay. I cannot do the OTA to 8.0 is it because it still unreleased? I know there is threads to flash to 8 but if its not supported and a leaked version I will wait until something is more official.
No sim inside yet but I don't think it matters for OTA updates.
it is official. software updates will only download to your device if you are on the ATT network and have a active ATT sim installed.

That's the joke of the century. I'm highly doubtful since AT&T would rather you upgrade to a newer phone
That also means that new leaked fw could happen for Nougat. A whole new oreo build of android would definitely warrant ATLEAST a userdebug build of nougat right?

I am looking to downgrade my Note 10+ AT&T from Android 10 to Android 9.
I have update my phone last week and i can't used my Mirrorlink app on my car aftermarket HU (AVIC-7000NEX)
Anyone still have not update to android 10 can tell me what the Baseband version of last security update for android 9? Maybe a screenshot of you Software Information would be awesome.

I have an AT&T 10+ still running on Pie.
I refuse to upgrade as it runs fast, very stable and I know Q would screw it up bad.
Lol, a virus be less trouble than Q
Be warned, AT&T's last phone updates are usually their worst.
I know this was released by Verizon, but now I learned it's only for "locked" phones? Can't find the update, and Samsung says to use their switch program, which also says My android 10 is current. How do I get update?

I have a samsung galaxy z fold 3 thom browne (sm-f926u1) us version unlocked and im using at&t. I saw the firmware update in software update settings . Should i update to android 12 or not ? Will the new android 12 delete all my Thom Browne unlock theme/ wallpaper after updated ?

When I fired it up it was Verizon but network unlocked - as I put in my T-Mobile SIM and it worked (Kind of OK - WiFi Calling did not work)
It received a LOT of OTA Updates I let it go and even ended up on Android 12
So I flashed it with the same (N975USQS7HVD1) TMB firmware - from SamMobile and also changed the CSC to TMB.
Everything works fine now.
Since then I have not received any OTA updates. But that was only May 5 so maybe no updates since then?
Added: Service Provider Software Version: SAOMC_SM-N975U_OYN_TMB_12_0015 TMB/XAA/VZW

OK I will answer my own question.
I received 2 updates today, so it will get OTA updates after flashing a new / different firmware and changing CSC
