Hi I recently purchased this.

But cant get it to work with my N7. Is N7 not got MHL?
I couldnt get it to work with N4, S3, S4 it Xoom as well.

Edited, no support for any video out in original N7, slimport is for new N7.

The old Nexus 7 didn't support Slimport or MHL.
MHL and Slimport are two competing standards (incompatible between them) to deliver HDMI video via the micro USB connector. First gen Nexus 7 did not have any of them (so no video out whatsoever). Nexus 7-2 implements Slimport (looks like Google chose this side). Many smartphones support MHL (the other standard). Your MHL adapter will not work on Nexus 7-2 or Nexus 4.

First orders are shipping out Oct 15ish. So, kd assume this month they should be in stores.
