Hello, is there a way to easily change the colour of the statusbar. You know, when you pull the bar down? So it isn't gray anymore?

Are you still wanting to do this mod? I've only got the XA1 and it's not rooted but this should be a pretty simple mod to do..

I agree!!! Lol...Its in the works...But if anyone has any idea to fix it please do tell. I was thinking about moving the date to the middle of the statusbar, just an idea..

all u have to do is give the date a different transparency and background color, like a half transparent black/white/whatever color so that it overlays anything behind it, this way when u pull down the notifications bar u can read the date, and when u push it back up everything is still clear

Might be a dumb question, but what do you mean by "overlap" stuff?
Id rather have a semi-transparent bar. Still black like the stock one.
If you have nothing important or relevant to say....best to say nothing at all

Im refering to the top black bar where the clock and battery are
woops sorry it was getting late, misread, umm, as far as I know I'd find a theme that has it, we have a few made for the Inc. riptide is another theme for the evo I think that has it you can use the framework-res.apk .pngs to make the things you want transparent.
Alright, I just got a hold of CM7 for my Incredible 2 and wanted to know how I can get a 50% transparency status bar. I looked all over, even in that Meizu theme thread (or whatever it's called) and I still can't find out how to do it. Can anybody please give me a quick tutorial? Please?

it isn't a quite tutorial, inverting the status bar mean, that you need to change the .png of the status bar from black to whatever transparency you want, I use paint.net...
then EVERY status bar icon has a black background.. you need to change probably over 100 icons give or take to have it look correct other wise u will have a transparent staus bar with icons that have a black background.
I suggest using the UOT kitchen. much faster. and it should do this MOD for u, I'm not sure I've never used it but people seem to like it.
download the Metamorph app and search for "metamorph darkshade.zip". The darkshade.zip file will theme your notification pulldown for you. You'll have to do a battery pull after applying the theme but afterwards you'll be golden.
I've tried using metamorph but it does do anything for my Inc2 and I'm on CM7. Any help?

it should be in res/values/styles.xml in your systemui.apk, there should be many color codes, find the one u wanna change and change it to your color code

This kind of mod needs a deodexed SystemUIGoogle.apk but this is not possible yet.
