Hi guys, firstly, thanks for making Android 9.0 ROMs on Xiaomi Mix 2, thats really awesome!
But I have a problem, I really don't know how to fix China Telecom issue on Xiaomi Mix 2.
Most of the Android 9.0 ROMs(Nitrogen/Omni/PixelExperience/LineageOS/Syberio etc.) I tried, all not work well on China Telecom, data ok, but dialog not. Just show me "Mobile network not available.".
God damn ~ Maybe I should change it into MIUI? But I really don't want it.
Oh wait, I also flashed ril****.zip(kindness guys offered) and volte_fix.zip, but all not work too.
What should I do? It's so weird.
Someone here have same problem too? How did you do?
I just guess, there are two ways to solve this problem:
1. Use MIUI.
2. Fix source code(I don't know how to, maybe...)
Well, I waste all day to validate it, then there are bad results.
Anybody can help me? Thank u so much.

I'm from brazil and our Galaxy S comes with built in 1seg digital TV (it even has an antenna), and I got mine today. Seems a root isn't available yet, so if anyone need me to dump anything or anything else so we can make this work, fire away!

Have you tried any of the available methods of root? But first make sure your phone can go into download mode in case anything goes wrong. I'd like to see a picture of this Galaxy S with a TV antenna. Sounds pretty cool

Ok, phone sucessfully rooted! now, anyone done any of the most popular hacks? Like the lagfix one? Seems mine doesnt have enough space on /system/ for ryanza's one

The big question is : Will be Brazilian GS upgraded to Froyo ? Its the only Galaxy with tv ...
Does it suffer the lag issue ? The gps is good ?

I have applied Ryanza's Lag Fix and Market Access, but I'm still an Android novice. No problems whatsoever with Ryanza's, my Galaxy S is the Brazilian model, unlocked and unbranded.

Mine already came with Gmail and Google Talk (haven't tried it yet), or are we talking about different applications? By the way, mine is unbranded.

How do I know if my phone suffers from the lag issue? I applied Ryanza's fix but to be honest I didn't notice much difference.
I think my GPS reception is poor. But I had previous phone models which didn't have good GPS reception themselves (Nokia N97 and Sony Ericsson Vivaz) so I don't really know.
I'd love if someone can dump this firmware.
I'm looking at swype and the modem.

i don´t know what the problem with brazilian SGS, works perfect to me with root, lagfix, we don´t have roms just it, you can use froyo beta but you need a way to extract apk of digital tv and swype language module (pt-br) just it, and we will have a galaxy like any other
Well I had to xchange my galaxy s for another because I semi bricked it LOL so before I did, I tested the froyo beta firmwares and on all of them the touchscreen didn't work. maybe our kernel is different somehow?
Seems we will have to wait for an official I9000B firmware?
Also, my galaxy didn't come with google apps, I got samsung email and some customized gmail application and some claro ****. Where can I get the regular gmail or another as good email client? Or even better how can I completely unbrand the phone and leave it like the one bought outside carriers?

a lot of peoples use rooted SGS of claro in the orkut community of SGS, try this update.zip man
Now that we have paid apps in Market I cant see why to root . Anyway, I was not accepted in the orkut community . I am working on it right now to figure out what happened .
My big concern is : will be there Froyo for us ?

Without bugs? No software is without bugs. With that said, there are many 'non-working' things. Read the main thread, it's got all these words that will answer this question. First 4 posts are great, after that the search feature works wonders.
Also, what happened to trying it out? This is for fun/testing, it's not meant to replace WinMo. So if that's what you're looking for (WinMo replacement) I'd look elsewhere. Like a new phone

"Bugless" is preference, IMO. Sure it runs on my Fuze as long as I stay within the guideliness from the link mentioned in the previous post. If you are looking for benchmarks, you might be better off with a device that actually comes with Android (also IMHO).
By the way what are you attempting to do with this?
Use it as my primary OS. i'm willing to sacrifice the camera for it.

There's a lot of other little quirks, I wouldn't use it as your primary OS - unless your phone isn't used as a phone of course
Most of the problems people truly have usually are related to the phone sleeping and missing calls, or rebooting in a call etc. Stuff that's mission-critical so-to-speak - I know some that use the phone completely unactivated and love Android full time. There's also some I know that have the phone activated and just don't care and use it all the time.
I'd say for most 'normal' people, it's not ready to use full time as your primary OS. But as with anything tech-related - try it for yourself! Don't let my opinion make your decision, only you will be able to tell. That's the greatest thing about this whole project, doesn't damage the phone, no need to flash anything... Try before you buy, except it's free anyways

It's a lite WinMo ROM that auto loads Haret from SD card the author is MichyPrima
As mentioned in THIS post. In my opinion, the closest that RAPH has been reported to run from nand. Keeping in mind this doesn't actually run from nand.

It will become pixelate. with 12.5 the pixelate way more bigger than previous version. Its the gradient issue that Xiaomi cant fixed..lol
dont wanna go back to miui just to check but wasnt seeing that as i recall,
definetly not seeing those blurs when pulling down now on the custom crdroid.

A few days ago that I have this device (european 12/256 version) and I'm already thinking about putting a custom rom , it seems that OOS is no longer what it was ....
Reading some of the comments I have a few questions:
Is it true that in all custom roms there is strange stuttering (does not run smoothly)?
With magisk hide option, the gpay runs well ?
What are the differences between the gcam and the stock camera ? (we lose video quality, monochrome type option? something else?)
There aren't many videos on youtube about custom roms and our one plus 9 pro, so if I decide to install one, I will upload some videos talking about it.

Losing the stock camera would be the biggest blow for me. Gcam is good and all but not in every situation.
I'd love some feedback aswell so I start rocking some ROMS on this beast!
Idk I have flashed a few custom roms on my 9 pro. Only thing I really have issues with is gpay and and Android auto and Bluetooth syncing. Like I have a media player that has a USB port I plug my phone in and it goes directly to Android auto. But if I have a custom in it won't connect at all. And gpay it won't let me use it at all but I haven't really tried to hide with magisk either. The custom roms are awesome but I think as of right now cause the changes in 11 and 12 happening everything is off in some sorts.

In fact all Lineageos based ROMs (lineageos crdroid etc)suffer from strange stuttering ,only Paranoid defaults globally to 120hz(run smoothly in app).This problem is still unresolved for developers

I've had the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold Chinese ROM version for over a year now and I really love it. There's only a few things that I wish I could figure out how to make this phone better. I was wondering if you guys know the best guides or ways to get started with adding this or if it's basically impossible:
1. Add Android Auto: I saw someone mention something about Magisk but I'm not sure how to get started with that.
2. Add Google Location History
3. Add "Hey Google" Functionality
If anyone knows how or if these features can be added to Mi Ui 13.1 In would greatly appreciate any information! Thank you!
