I know the black version has some saying it's quite noticeable after a while but how are the pink and white variants faring? You guys noticing anything?

I hope this is not the wrong section I would love to see more of something than black and white and grey and white and blue and red and green something that has some good amount of color mix in it like a black and red or gold and white or black or something with a mix of colors any suggestions. I was just thinking back to the og droid days and i loved themes for that they were constantly pouring out and never the same. Any chance any one is working on or may know where i can pick up something like this change things up a bit.

well, with full brightness and all the display settings being the same, the black one shows deeper and better colors..
and i mean across the entire UI..
does anyone know why?
i have had the liberty to compare 3 white and 2 black ones..
all the three white show same washed out colors and the black ones show the same better color and contrast..
im just being curious..

That's because a human's eye considers white colors to have less contrast than black colors. It's an illusion. In fact, a phone with white body has the same screen contrast with black one. Don't worry, it's just our mind is playing with us LOL

For those of you who have already received your device, which color option did you get? I am on T-Mobile and only can choose between the Metallic Black and Silk White varieties. Also, for anyone who is planning on getting the phone, what color do you plan on getting? I was thinking of getting the Silk White with the "Blue Chill" Otterbox Defender attached, but the Silk White on the phone is slightly off from the case's "Whisper White". Do you think the colors will be off so much that they would be a bother (those kind of little differences irritate me)...What do you all suggest I do?

I'm not sure what to believe. Could these be issues with certain versions LG (or T-Mobile) have been sending out to people? Are these just a couple lemons? Could something else be to blame?

Yellow tint? Compared to a Moto G 2014, my G3 has a blueish tint on the screen. I just think that LG G3's screen has quite a precise white balance level.

I agree, I find the G3 to have correct white balance. The issue is the screen is really dull, very low saturation and contrast, and the annoying oversharpening problem.
Hello, i have a white nexus 5 which broke its screen, however here in brasil i can only find screens with the black color(black speaker grill), can i replace my white one to the new screen?
You can mix and match colours. The only difference between red, black, and white is colour. Everything else is the same.
I have swapped many parts and screens between red, white, and black nexus 5 phones.
