You dont need lineago os to install since its an 8.1.0 rom it should install just fine on your phone and if you use magisk it should root it also

Same issue as on other GSI ROMs for 1921-1. Unable to connect to 5GHz wifi, navigation bar not showing during setup, unable to sign / log into guest wifi networks. Unable to skip past internet connection setup.
Do I need to decrypt the Partition data?
I installed on Metro PCS variant (Hannah) It installed fine, rooted, everything running smoothly. Only issue is I have sound through headphones, just not through internal speaker. I have tried everything. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it.

Saw this in another thread with sound issues and maybe it might work! Just make sure you back up folder first
Delete folder…Vendor/lib/soundfx

Nevermind, I figured it out. When flashing the stock rom through fastboot I kept forgetting to flash venor.img. Now sound works on stock rom.
Anyone get gaaps working on this? Ive tried registering and through Magisk. Can't seem to get it.
This Rom is almost perfect everything works except Bluetooth otherwise everything works metropcs Moto E5 plus Hannah. Gapps are easy to install and register device with device ID apk it registered after the 6 time doing so the first time it went and did it once second time took about 10 minutes tops

I have tried everything to by pass the G-apps or tried to make this work this is the only ROM that i haven't tested yet on my device and would like too but i have read threads. I read a few threads on how to get DEVICE REGISTERED but still does nothing any help would be great Thank you....... Hannah MetroPcs

Yes I did everything works fine now except Bluetooth and head phones don't work that's all no Lag or anything .

Whoops I miss understood which Rom this was , well I still couldn't get pass the device register but Gapps do work I just couldn't get to home screen with out signing in that was my problem it boots up for Hannah MetroPCS but just Gapps can not get by . I also had Resurrection remix Rom has the same thing device register I can with that Rom but this Rom I can't I really want this Rom

Which LOS 15.1 I tired and it brick my phone. otherwise yes extract it then you will see img file then fastboot .

If it's any help, the Phhusson version of LOS 15.1 works very well on the UK E5 play (PETTYL) but you have to edit the build.prop to turn on the nav bar.
It's still android go though, some people think they can flash LOS to have a normal device with normal Google apps - I can confirm the A only arm version of LOS 15.1 is still android go with android go Google apps.

first and fore most dont have gapps yet then install that module and follow its guide on xda to set it up but if u go to terminal and type: su
then grant root and type: props
and follow the guide in module

I'm having problems with Gapps. I tried restoring apps from backup, but the downloads won't start at all. Cleared cache/data, tried to reinstall and problem isn't solved.

Can you try the following?
Go to Settings>Apps & Notifications>See all apps>Click on 3 dot menu>Show system>Scroll down & click on*Androidsetup>Click on Storage>Clear*cache*& storage>Force stop
Go back>Scroll down>Select Download manager>Click on Notifications>Uncheck all three options (In progress, Done & Queued) and check again>Click on storage> Clear cache>Force stop
3. Restart the*device
But I personally wouldn't recommend restoring a backup unless it was one made from bootleggers

Re-flashing the ROM and not restoring from backup fixed my Gapps problem. Aside from having weak network issues related to my carrier(Sprint)/Android Pie ROMS, this is by far the best ROM I have flashed on my device. Appreciate the love for walleye.

Adb doesn't seem to want to work well after flashing..
Fastboot boot *.IMG
No longer works.
Adb reboot yes. But that's about it. Factory revert seems to bring back full adb function.

Update: reflashed but did not reboot recovery again, just rebooted system and now is booting your custom logo...
Update: Booted fine. Unfortunately, not working with Fi. "Unfortunately, your Google Fi service can't be activated because your account currently isn't authorized for service...ID: G003"

Update: Hmmm, phone and messaging is working...Although, I had to disable the Fi app to get rid of the message (don't know if that is a good idea). Every time I open the phone app, I get the message "This device is not supported and phone calls may not work correctly". Would be nice to fix these issues.
I'll give it some time to see if anything changes for the better or worse.
Update: Crap...messaging doesn't work..incoming receives carrier error.

Are custom ROMs better in terms of battery for the walleye or even worse? Especially for this one as It doesn't seem it's overflown with features
Only issue I am having on VZW is I get the message "This device is not supported and phone calls may not work correctly". Phone calls and texts work fine I just get that message on boot up of phone app.

Well, I don't ask it for the fun of it. There are aosp oreo roms lacking this feature and it's a deal breaker..

I installed it, it went well, but didn't got the face unlock option. Tried several things and then got the thought, 'why would I trade it for a already working rom.'. A rom with all the same features. RR.
So do tell me, - not to disrespect your work - what would be the reason to install this one instead?

one good reason is that i don't maintain RR. i'm tired with all the work i do everyday so i can only update 1 rom at a time and since lineage is important because it's being used by all other roms , i will do lineage when i can.
So you chose this one over RR because it has a maintainer/builder haha

Maybe it has updated security patch and some kernel commits? And for the god sake buy OnePlus 6 or something if you want that "face unlock" feature working.. For the LG G4 you need perfect condition for front camera to recognize face..
So i have downloaded this rom, gapps 8.1 stock ARM64. In twrp wipe data, system, install rom, install gapps, "twrp wants to be system app" ok, installing app, then phone restarted, lg logo, rom logo for few mintes and Kernel crash, battery out/in, phone on and it started. I logged into my google account, click "restore apps" and now it's downloading apps very slowly, phone is laggish, i don't have any ringtones and my sd card does not work. What did i do wrong?

So you're not sure about the security patch and kernel tweaks? ?
Face unlock works great. Yes, with the right amount of light. And it needs to be teached. Not one time only.

Wpie cache and dalvik as well, and you should read wizard's suggestion for someone else above.
Nice will give em a try this weekend. Can you add Patch Lvl, cause all other Roms are outdated ATM.

It is Orion_WIP3_2 kernel in a AK2 (Anykernel2) zip. (Thanks @JohnFawkes)
You can just flash this zip as a regular zip..
So no more ".img" files that need to be flashed in boot partition.
This also means that you don't need to reflash Magisk after flashing a kernel!
As always "Encounter bugs? = Logcat" cant fix stuff based on a description of what happened. :good:

Not to sure actually. It has the Orion kernel atm which had fixed sound issues before, but I might update room again in a few days a Markus has pushed some new changes
Why there is no sound preset in settings?
Running this for 2 days in my H932 clean flash.
I haven't had any FC or rebooting.
SafetyNet passed with out needing to change fingerprint.
I haven't had the fingerprint reader hardware error a single time.
Audio is a decent loudness.
However it takes all my apps an extremely long time to launch which is a little annoying and I don't know how to fix it.
No using any Magisk modules
Using the kernel that can with the ROM
This is my only issue thus far
Any help would be appreciated

I came from H932 20s, my only issue so far is applications open slow.

hi, thnx for feedback, install kernel auditor from play store and change cpu gov to ondemand, hope that helps. (default is schedutil)
btw, new build will be up tomorrow, has some new audio changes again

if they are pushed yes they should be included as i synced today. not to sure what exactly changed with aod as i never use it.

Hello to my H932 users on this ROM. I am currently on Havoc and I'm only having a few issues on the ROM. Those issues are, the V4A audio mod not working as it did on other ROMs, and sometimes the battery drops dramatically, and other times it doesn't. That being said, I'm getting the urge to flash again; and from what I've read here so far this ROM seems to be stable with good audio.
If any 932 users can tell me about battery life, and if they're using audio mods, and how the ROM is performing overall, I would appreciate it.

Did BL remove 'force expanded notifications' ?
I can't for the life of me find it in this build.
I wiped cache , Dalvik cache , system , data and flashed the rom and gapps.
The rom very stuttery, couldn't use it at all.. The same happened with lineage OS.. But aosp based roms work smooth on my phone.
I have h930ds , did i do something wrong?
Anyone on h933 or h931 having issues with system UI auto redrawing and phone screen turning off randomly?

5. Flash ROM, GAPPS and magisk installer if you want playstore as certified
6. Reboot

Yes atleast they are still working on this device. Yes I loved the version 3 more. But the developer stopped working on it. Can't say much and just hope they will fix everything

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.
Also, we got our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM, share some love, ideas or even have fun with us!

INSTRUCTIONS
if coming from stock follow this : Guide
if coming from a custom rom
Reboot to recovery ( same slot , so twrp zip has to be flashed before if not present)
wipe system, dalvik, data
select inactive slot
Reboot to recovery
flash ROM ( gapps not included size is large ~ 700 mb)
flash twrp zip
Reboot to recovery
flash Gapps + magisk
First reply. Awesome work by the devs on project. Rom is buttery smooth and loaded too. Battery life is great. Quick charge works as intended. Camera works as intended. The audio output is a little low on loudspeaker but it is being worked on so nothing too serious.

Wow.. Looks exciting to me...one feature I use more is call record inbuilt into dialer.. Does this work in this ROM?

Great...and does it have Dual Sim 4G option to enable?. The stock rom has this in Settings>Network>Sim Card>Dual Sim 4G
First thanks for this great rom. I don't know if i am right, but can someone confirm that you can add only one fingerprint? When i want to add a second fingerprint, the system tells me that the process to add a fingerprint stopped.
And how can i activate the navigation bar with the dot? (Google pixel navigation bar)

To get the Google Pixel navigaton bar to work. You'll need to change Recent App style to Stock. After that the bar will appear, but swiping up will cause a freeze for me.

For first flash persist.img from fastboot,
Second if ur referring the dot = pill, then u have to enable swipe up to home in geatures.. nothing related to Changing recent style to stock (u can keep anything) better to use default quickswitch

Hi Folks, can I just dirty flash this update on the existing BL ROM that I am using : steps will be twrp, clean data and dalvik, change to inactive slot, flash new ROM version, flash twrp zip, reboot recovery, flash gapps , reboot and done
