Pixel 3 XL dropping calls or Calls suddenly go mum (AT&T) - Google Pixel 3 XL Questions & Answers

Anyone else experiencing calls going quite or dropping?

On AT&T and not had any issues with calls dropping or going quiet.

are you using a call recorder? mine was doing this and I found that to be the culprit...

I have recently started having this issue.

Not here on AT&T. Both LTE and Wi-Fi calling are working great. Maybe go into AT&T and get a new SIM provisioned for free?

at&t tilt2 dropping calls

I have an AT&t tilt2 and I am having problems with dropped calls. I can be sitting in my house not moving and will drop a call up to 4 times per conversation. It gets very annoying. Does anyone else have this problem and if so were you able to fix it.
I have the same problem and it's not the phone.

Signal cutting off :(

hi all...
currently using tmobile galaxy note 3 with an at&t sim. the phone is in good standing. not blacklisted. i love the phone. currently using slim rom (latest). ever since i got the phone, i been having signal issues. there are times when the phone signal cuts off, no signal at all. and then there are times when, even though, it shows a signal no one can call me, it just rings or cuts the caller after a few rings. sometimes my gf would tell me shes been calling me, but i never got any calls/miss calls. sms would go through though. and when this is happening i would try to call a number, nothing happens, no ringing, no sound at all coming out of the earpiece. a reboot would remedy the issue. but its starting to get annoying.
can anyone help me out here. am i the only one with this issue?
thanks in advance.
wondering if i should install a at&t modem. can anyone tell me if that is a good idea??
are there any hardware differences between the ATT version and the T-Mobile version? I have not done the research, but it is possible that the ATT version does not have the correct GSM/LTE bands to get a good connection on T-Mobile.
I had similar issues using a Verizon Note 2 on T-Mobile and AT&T
I have the same issue. I even tried redoing my apn's and the problem continues...

Anyone else having issues with WIFI calling consistency?

Hello- I live in a crappy area for reception to say the least! T Mobile seems to be the best option as I have a great Ubiquiti WIFI network setup up at the House- For whatever reason I have been missing a ton of calls and text's when on WIFI calling with the S6.
I didn't seem to have the same issues with the iPhone 6? Any others experiencing the same issues? Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks so much!

Yes, I am not rooted and my S6 edge shows "missed calls" when on Wifi. The phone doesnt even ring. It happens most of the time.

I am rooted. TWRP installed. Stock Kernel. Absolutely NO issues with WiFi calling. In fact on all my older Galaxy devices including my S5 I always had issues. So far call quality superb. No WiFi calling issues.
At this particular hour I'm not rooted, wifi calling has worked fine except for one glitch, when I initiate a call overseas it almost invariable fails but if I dial again it goes right through. No idea what to make of that.
Alright, I am rooted now...let's see if that does anything to Wifi calling. Still have stock recovery and kernel.
Yep, two phones, both have them. Tried to get a replacement, but the guy was being a corporate line tower and it really irritated me that I spend 2.5 hrs dealing with him and driving 38 miles to and from just to get home with nothing. I refuse to pay a restocking fee. Nobody had a white S6 Edge 32 GB. I got stuck with a Black on Thursday due to a lack of stock. Great customer service, right..... The idiot manager asked me "what do I get by giving you a phone from my inventory and lose money and get in trouble for it?" I said it's a customer satisfaction thing. What kind of a person think it's reasonable to lose 10% battery life with a 1 hr phone call on Wifi calling?
If you're missing calls it's because of your WiFi connection. When you have a bunch of devices using the same WiFi they kinda take priority over the phone so you miss calls. Go into a Tmobile store and ask for a FREE WiFi router. It is designed to prioritize WiFi calling over everything else. I have one and it works great
My issue is that no one can hear me and sometimes I can't hear them. It happened on my iPhone 6 Plus too and not just at my house.

I have just received my third Galaxy S6. I am unable to receive calls about 90% of the time on WIFI. I have the tmobile wifi cellspot router; it makes no difference. I am 4 feet from the router with a perfect connection. My 3 year old HTC One S has no problem making and receiving calls on the network or on the WIFI connection. None of my phones have been rooted. I also tried the SIM card replacement. No dice. This is discouraging.
I've had the same issue, would love to hear a solution X_X

Anyone else getting dropped calls?

Got a refurbished Nexus 5X for my wife last week, today she was using it for conference calls at work and had multiple dropped calls. We are on t-mobile and she never had an issue with her S4. APN settings look correct and WiFi calling is off. Anyone else having this issue? I read that this was common on the Nexus 5, has it been fixed in this new model?

Same problem here, since a couple weeks ago, also with T-mobile, at home and also at workplace, the call drops, but the signal is good and I can inmediately make another call.

Texting problems on Verizon?

So I bought an unlocked Pixel 3 XL on the google store, and I'm in having an issue with not being able to send text messages and also receiving texts while on a 1x/3g signal with Wifi on(but fine with wifi off on those signal strengths/cell extender), and cant send/text while on a LTE signal at all, so I plopped a spare Tmobile sim card in there and no problems at all, tried flashing/resetting/reseating sim and even got a new verizon sim card, anyone else having this issue with verizon? or is it just me xD
