I had really good experience with it on my older device and I want it also for my Pixel 3.

On their twitter they announced they'd be releasing them some time in November - https://twitter.com/whitestonedome/status/1054799639529095168
Hopefully earlier rather than later, the one I'm using now doesn't cover my full display area and it's a tad annoying.

These Mr Shield ones - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FTHLLB2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_QS9ZBbBZ7K44T
I will say I think I prefer these over the ones with the black bezels that don't have full adhesive. I had issues with those on my OnePlus 5.

Ahh gotcha. Was curious if you had the Zagg "Made for Google" one. I was thinking of getting the Zagg until Whitestone but that's a lot to spend on thin pieces of glass.

I'm a huge fan of Whitestone, especially after my experience with it in my 2XL. With that said, I got the Verizon branded screen protector to use in the meantime and I am so impressed I can't see a reason anymore to get the Whitestone. Only cost me $19 too.

How's the screen coverage? Any ghosting/lifting around the edges?
Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk

It's 100% edge to edge of the viewable display and since it has adhesive all over, there is no ghosting or rainbow effects. I had one of the corners initially not 100% attached (lower right), but one day after having it in the bathroom with a hot shower, the steam must have fixed it and now it's 100% flawless.
My advice is to align it first with masking tape while the screen is lit, then just keep masking tape on one side to flip it onto the screen once it's been cleaned.

my verizon glass didnt do very well, wouldnt seal on the bottom left corner. it was installed by the verizon tech. they said it would go away, never did. i will probably order this glass when it comes available. i like the process, and how it really centers on the screen. this glass with my MNML case.. should be perfect.

Oh yeah the way the glue spreads when you place the White Stone Glass Screen Protector is amazing. I had it on my S9 and I will never go back to anything else. I have the Verizon one on my Pixel 3 right now and yeah there is one little tiny corner that never sticks but it so tiny I can barely see it unless I am in the right light. It works for now until White Stone gets one out for us.

When installing these screen protectors it really helps to do it in the bathroom with a hot shower running. The humidity keeps the dust down. Youll probably be sweaty when your all done putting it on but its worth it.

The Best S8+ Tempered glass screen protector and installation

The verizon branded S8+ screen protector is great quality, cheap and easy to install. (I purchased it for $26 on the VZW website)
All you have to do is clean up your phone real nice
Then set it inside of the guide piece that comes in the box.
Take off the plastic from the sticky side and set the screen protector on the guide.
Push down on the protector and take off the plastic from the upper side of the protector and BOOM you're done.
It fits in cases without lifting and doesn't cover any of the sensors.
The only complaint I would have is that you can see some dots in direct sunlight but that's a non-issue if you turn the brightness up or just don't be in direct sunlight
Let me know what you guys think. I recommend you try one for yourself. Looks better in person. sorry for the giant pics
If you have any questions about it let me know. Oh and there are no dead spots for touch and it responds no loss in sensitivity.
More pics by request
I really like that application method! I may need to stop by a Verizon store. I wonder if an easy, exact application like that may alleviate some of the issues with the curved glass protectors...

Can you take some more pictures? Where is the adhesive located? Only on the edges like other models or is the entire surface covered? Black border or no border?

It is along the edges as far as I can tell, similar to the others and there is a black border on the protector itself like them too, but I have yet to experience the clickyness that most curved glasses have in the center and it is the perfect size for multiple cases. Ill upload a couple more pics here in a few.

My experience with it has been exactly the opposite. It does not stick in place and can be moved around quite easily and its clicking non stop. The sensitivity is bad. The rep at Verizon put it on for me. Is it possible she did something wrong?

Dang, sorry to hear that. It's totally possible the she put it on wrong. If she didn't apply pressure around the edges enough before removing the guide. It could've moved to one side. Idk.

Lol should be free two day shipping on the website
Had to placed an order online since stupid Verizon wouldn't let me talk to a store salesperson and wanted me to be routed around. The only free shipping was 3-5 days ground.

Not to worry. I found one! Good guy Gurule92 sharing this find. Thanks! Super easy to apply. Clean, smooth, looks like it wont hold finger prints. Hope my Speigen wont make it pop off.
So I took the ops advice and bought one of the screen protectors. Cane out to like 28$ so a little pricey but not bad. My thoughts, the screen protector as of right now works perfect I have 0 problems with lifting, touch sensitivity etc. Install was very easy, and the protector feels like it's sticking well. Seems like it's case friendly but I do have 2 very minimalistic cases. The dot matrix is pretty easily noticeable at certain angles but mostly only on dark screens. Over all so far I'm very happy with it though. I can deal with the dot matrix to help protect this screen. When I installed I laid the screen protector on and pushed out from the center. My thought on this is its removing gap between the protector and screen and then sticking versus just sitting on top of the screen and pushing the sides down. Is it guaranteed to work like that? Probably not, but it did work for me

Rhino Shield screen protector

I almost tried every possible maker out there for a glass screen protector for my s8+.. Alllllll are as bad as it can ever be.. From the 50$ glass to the 6$ once..
Given all the above.. And given my experience from the pixel xl.. Rhino was the only company that made a perfect glass screen protector, FULL ADHESIVE.. yes full adhesive, BUTTT no idea if they were able to perfect this one, no mention in the website if it's full adhesive or not, but i took my chances that at least it should work better thab any out there even if not full adhesive.. I pre ordered it, and i think they started shipping..
Crossing my fingers that they will step up and make one that really works.. I live out of the US, so mine will take few more days to arrive, but if any pre ordered and is expecting to receive it soon.. Please share your experience with us here. (while we "i am" waiting)..

I ordered one back on 4/10. That was the first day that I saw the Rhinoshield products for the S8+ online. I ordered the Crashguard bumper as well as the tempered glass screen protector. When I ordered on the 10th the site said the orders would ship from 4/10 - 4/20 for the bumper and 4/15 - 4/25 for the screen protector. The 21st came and my bumper wasn't even shipped, so I sent them a message on Friday asking how I was supposed to protect my phone now LOL....I was being a bit of a jackass but still if they couldn't ship it by the 20th don't tell me you can. The girl sent me back an email offering me free 2 day international shipping and told me that I would for sure be in the first batch if I switched my color to black for the bumper (I had originally gotten the gray to go with my arctic silver phone) so I did. Now she originally told me that the screen protectors would be ready before the bumpers so I assume this package contains both items.....my order says fulfilled and there is nothing to lead me to believe it is partially fulfilled.
Just this morning I got a shipping notice and it has been picked up by Fedex in Taiwan. It is supposed to be at my door on Wednesday according to Fedex.....I'll let you guys know how it is.
Never has luck with glass protectors so i al with wet instsll skinomi ones.
I did order a rhinoshield crash graud.
Kinda sucks that they delay the release.

I just got mine at my house and hour ago. I installed the TGSP first. It isn't what everyone here is hoping for I don't think. Regardless of what the spokesperson told the guy in chat the adhesive does not cover the entire back of the protector, it is just like the other curved ones that have it on the sides/edges. With that said, it does appear to be the good silicone adhesive. I've been rubbing the edges of mine damn near constantly since I put it on and see no lifting yet. I also don't notice any tapping when I touch the screen. It does have those little dots to help with glare or whatever, but this isn't the first glass I've had with those.
Now with all that said......this is my first curved screen phone and thus my first curved screen TGSP. I've read all the posts here about how it sucks for curved screen phones. In this short time honestly I can't tell you that I notice a different between this one and the Zagg glass that I had on my Nexus 6P or the Spigen glass that my wife has on her iPhone 6s. Now granted that might change, but I think as of right now it is decent and will protect my screen from scratches. Now the fact that it doesn't have adhesive across the device leads me to believe that the impact protection of this TGSP versus a flat one that is adhered across the whole screen is not as good.....but I don't drop my phone much.
I also got the crashguard bumper from them and it is OK. It feels a little loosey goosey even for a bumper but I think I can live with it. The only real issue that I see with it is the button over the bixby button won't actually touch/actuate the bixby button itself. The power and volume rocker work fine even if they are tighter than ****'s hat band. The cutouts for the mics, speaker, USC-C port, and headphone jack are spot on accurate.

Unfortunately it appears that either that person did lie to you or they were ignorant to the way the thing was really designed.
Now that you mention it I looked again and I do see a tiny spot of rainbow effect. It is small so I wouldn't really care, but the problem is it is directly in the circle for my left eye when the iris scan pops up....kind of annoying.
I don't have another camera handy to take a pic at the moment....when I get home from work I'll try to see what kind of pics I can get of the edges with my wife's ip6s. So stand by for a few hours on those

Thank you for your detailed update..
Honestly i wasn't expecting them to reach the level of full adhesive, for one simple scientific reason, curved screens are not identical, there is always a difference in the curving margin that is acceptable from manufacturing quickly prespictive (i remember reading an article about that), and the adhesive should be really thick (relatively) to avoid that margin which will reflect into bluring the screen and lowering the clarity to a very noticeable level..
Given all that, my hopes were just for them to make something that is more decent than what's in the market, and from ur description, i can say "MAYBE".. I will have to wait and see when i get mine, coz i literally tried everything there, except for the siphhire semi-film/glass by zagg, and the genuine Samsung thick plastic protector - waiting for those to arrive, They both are a middle way solution, nor a film neither a glass, just a thick plastic protector..

Best TGSP for Pixel 2?

Hello all,
I'm looking for the best tempered glass screen protector for Pixel 2. I have looked through the List of Google Pixel 2 Screen Protectors and I have searched Amazon too, but the reviews are either fake-5-star-reviews, or generally poor reviews.
Can anyone recommend the best option for a Pixel 2 tempered glass screen protector?
Thank you
I have this one and it's the best IMHO and is case friendly. I can attach some pics for you tomorrow.
https://amzn.to/2Psxbes
Spigen, take your time as it fits perfectly side to side on the visual part of the screen only.
Ia am using This glass and it's my third glas right now. 2 times saved my display.
It fits perfect, it is curved.

If you are looking for the best, whitestone dome is probably the way to go. It is expensive though. If you aren't worried about full adhesive and curved so it passes the edge of the display there are a lot more options. Spiegen is good for a lower cost option, but it only goes to the edge of the display and doesn't curve.
Thank you for all the suggestions. I'll definitely use one of these screen protectors

Quick question: do you (or does anyone on the forum) have one of these and can tell me if I can use it in combination with Google's fabric case?
(Also, I am currently in Germany. I can order one, but the translated text on the Amazon listing sounds like a scam. It also claims to "take away blue light". I want my display as intended, not blue-filtered.
FTR, I've been trying to get the "official" SP (Power Support) from the Google store, buy it isn't available in Germany.

I'm currently using one. I think it would fit the Google case, but I haven't tried. I've used it with an OtterBox symmetry, a speigen tpu, and with the moment case with no issues. It covers the full display but still leaves gaps on the edges.
I haven't noticed any significant blue light filtering but I did see that the description stated that. I can try to compare it against another Pixel 2 with a different screen protector and see.
Thanks, that would be nice of you if you could have a look at a second Pixel 2.
FTR, I turned off colour boosting, and really appreciate the near-natural colour provided by Google's OLED settings. I couldn't understand why people complained about the "faded" colours in the beginning. I bought this thing as a camera with a phone, and I want to see my photos as close to what I see while shooting them. Filtering blue light is a bit of a deal-breaker for the glass dome, if perceivable.
I've had 2 Whitestone Dome Glass protectors. The first had to be replaced when my phone slipped through the gap in my pull out couch and when trying to get out it slipped under one of the couch legs, crushing the screen (no screen protector will help in that case). The second came in today, after some back and forth with Whitedome trying to figure out why it was showing out of stock on Amazon, and I had to trash it less than an hour after opening it.
The first one was a hassle to install but once installed I really, really liked it. The second had a broken bottom piece for installation, causing an imbalance in the phone and I went through 3 (one left over from first install) adhesion tubes before I realized that was why a good bit was slipping over the edge of the phone and not across the display. When I realized what was going on I was kind of angry it even happened, wasn't paying much attention, and the protector cracked when I was removing it to try and clean up everything...
I either got lucky with the first or REALLY unlucky with the second, but either way I'm not buying another one. The installation process isn't exceedingly difficult, but it's just way too cumbersome for what it should be, costs too much, and just isn't worth the headache. Really disappointed in it. Luckily Amazon did me a solid and is letting me refund it.
That first was by far the best I found for TGSP's for the Pixel 2. I'm really hoping the Pixel 3 goes back to fully flat glass, not this "it's curved just enough at the edges to make it extra difficult for third parties to make screen protectors" crap.
Follow-up: I tried it and it works with the fabric case, there is stilla gap. @jppowers is right about the installation process, it is a buggerance. I had an air bubble, glue spilled under the protective sticker on the speaker and it was generally cumbersome.
There is some blue light filtering, which makes sense given that the glue is near-UV-polymerised, but my brain compensates this and I don't see it if not in direct comparison with a screen without the protector.

Hello,
Does this screen protector actually curves around the 2.5d edge of Pixel 2 or is it just that the edges are sloping to give a smoother feel when finger meets the edge of scren protector, but the actual contact surface side of scren proterctor is flat? Would be awesome if you could share close up pictures of this protector on your phone. I am wondering if this screen protector actually creates no ugly halo effect around the preimeter when applied?

Hi, I took few photos, it seems nice.. just to much of dust found way under the protector

Thank you this one looks interesting, tempted to buy one myself, but maybe you have idea why there is significant amount of dust stuck? Is protector not full adhesive? Could it be that due to contouring it is unable to stick to whole screen surface properly? Misapplied or high-dust environment?

Hey, I don't really know what could be the problem. At the beginning everything was OK, but later problem with dust appeared. I am in normal surroundings, with no extra dust. Office-house.
I bought, as reserve, from same guy foil protection also. Maybe it will be better.
When a screen protector only has glue on the edges the dust enters at the speaker openings. I'm still using my original Spigen Glass protector with zero dust since it adheres to the whole screen but doesn't cover the curved sides, the pack comes with 2 protectors and I will swap it out soon as the fingerprint resistance isn't the best anymore(but it's been almost a year).
Whitestone's Dome is definitely the best by far, but just as everyone else has mentioned, the installation process is a massive hemorrhoid. For what they charge they oughta include a professional in-home installation service.
I highly suggest to anyone who gets the Dome, set aside 2 hours, watch the videos online, prep your area, and be extremely patient. Also, make sure you've eaten and haven't had anything that will make you jittery or anxious like coffee, it will make the whole process much easier to handle and you'll be much less likely to fly into a rage if you run into issues.
Also, as mentioned by others, be sure to fully inspect your glass before you attempt to install it. There is a very thin film on the back of the glass to keep it from splintering in the event of a shatter, and sometimes they end up with bubbles between the glass and film during manufacturing. I went through both tubes of adhesive and a lot of frustration before I realized the bubble was not a personal application error but a flaw in the glass. Getting a replacement was no issue, but I still lost two hours and grumbled quite a few choice words.
Caveats aside, it's a superb full coverage TGSP.

A70MN screen protector

Does anyone know if the A70MN comes with a pre-applied screen protector installed?
It shouldn't matter. I wouldn't even call it a screen protector. It's a very thin plastic piece which doesn't provide any sort of protection, and it affects color/brightness. As soon as I removed it I noticed the difference.
Thanks for the reply..I guess I'll order a couple glass screen protectors with the phone.

I Went With This..
https://www.amazon.com/PULEN-Protec...s=gateway&sprefix=samsung+a70+,aps,198&sr=8-5
I ended up ordering the KZIOACSH A70 2 pack from Amazon along with the A70MN variant and a case...should be here on Friday.
I got the Avidet one off of Amazon (Sorry i'm new and can't post the link)
It works.... But i really can't give it a strong recommendation either.... I literally chipped a corner with my thumb nail.
But to be fair I'm sure the others aren't much better.
If anyone finds a better tempered glass let me know.
I'm trying to figure out what I hate more; the full curves of the S's and Notes or the slight curves of the A series.
Makes me miss my flat as a pancake Note 3

Amen to that. I moved from a Note 3 to this phone, and lots of nice things about it, but why on earth not make the glass fully flat if you're not going to have a rounded edge display (which I hate).

Are there any large phablet options with a completely flat screen any more?
I noticed they all tend to copy Samsung and are trending towards this curved hellish atrocity.
IMO this is worse than Bixby.

Zag Screen Protectors

Just a heads up for those wanting glass screen protectors, Zag is selling them now (unlike Google Store at time of writing) and not sure why but got a big discount. 2 of the Glass Elite VisionGuard+for*Google Pixel 5 for $75 after tax and shipping. They gave me a 30% off discount.
Probably get them cheaper later, but last time we got phones on release date (Pixel 2) we didn't get screen protectors until a week after the phones showed up. So this time we got cases and screen protectors right away.

Bro liquid glass is the way to go. I have been through a ton of glass screen protectors on the 2 XL and they all suck, even the expensive ones. I got liquid glass and never looked back. P5 might be different because the screen is flat, but I'm getting liquid glass anyway. You can always do liquid and throw a glass screen on top of it.

I had mine applied at Fixit Mobile, and I believe they use WowFixit. From what I have read, the products all use Silicon Dioxide as the main ingredient. I don't know that much about the product, except that it works well, it's not noticeable, and does resist fingerprints somewhat. It's not perfect for fingerprints, but I haven't got any scratches in about a year. I have heard that you should reapply after a year, so I probably need to reapply. I will do some research and make a post at some point. I plan to do liquid glass on my P5, so I should post something in the next 2-3 weeks. This is something I looked at recently.

Sounds a lot like the "ceramic coating" that is promoted for use on car paint all the time now. I'd be willing to bet it's the same thing.

The cheap "9H ceramic coating" or spray on SiO2 coatings anyway, not the year-long lasting professional ones.
I just installed the Zagg Invisible Shield Glass Elite + on my Pixel 5 and sadly, it's peeling at the upper right corner. A bit disappointed.

If I'm being honest I've been less than satisfied with their product on my Pixel 2XL. I went through 3 or 4 via their warranty process and just gave up and went naked with a bumper case. Much happier, with minimal scratching after owning since release (preordered).
I'll always use a case because I abuse things but I am finding more and more that screen protectors aren't a necessity, even for someone who throws phones in backpacks etc when out on a trail.
Ordered one and it didn't sit down all the way. It wouldn't stay down on the lower right corner, despite no dust or anything. Ended up disappointed and moved on.
So this is definitely a "your mileage may vary" sort of deal. I purchased two of the zagg protectors, along with a pack of Spigen and Otomon tgsps. So I was prepared.
Anyhow, I did the shower trick installation to keep dust from floating around. First Zagg I used would not apply around the camera lens no matter what. Tried the second Zagg that I ordered and although there were bubbles initially, they went away after 20 mins or so. Perfect installation.
Long story short, you shouldn't have to buy two of a certain tgsp like I did in the event that one is defective, but doing so worked out in my case. Your first application may work correctly or it may not.
Edit:. Also the fitment is perfect. There is no rainbowing on the sides due to being cut short. Could the tgsp have been a little wider? Maybe, but would risk it lifting on one of the sides.
