Lg g5 ls992 stuck in configuring phone - Sprint LG G5 Questions & Answers

After factory reset, my phone stuck in configuring. And I skip that step, but then I can't use my sim card.
Can anyone help?

Same here. I'm on ZVF firmware and got it unlocked yesterday. Now I did a reset and it's stuck in configuring screen. wth.....can't even skip. how were you able to skip?

When it is on configuring screen, click on volume up and down a few times, it will let you skip the configure process.

Thanks gentlemen

[Q] HELP ME Please, I am stuck with rebooting LS980.

Hello, I have a Sprint LS980 and it was locked. I wanted to unlock it but it was Kitkat so I put all files to phone, root it then done all steps written down. But after rebooting I got an error below which continously shows up again and again. If Even if I press OK button or not phone reboots again itself. It reboots continously so I can not Restore to Stock Firmware. (I even can not go to recovery mode using volume up and power button. LG Logo shows up then reboots.)
Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
Could you please help me how can I get rid of this.

Hope you have your app data backed up because the only solution is to wipe the phone and restore to stock via the tot file
You need to debloat your phone
Hello, I had the same problem when tried to sim unlock my ls980. I know it's going to be a difficult task, but you need to rename the following applications in order to stop having that error:
Activation.apk
OmaDmclient.apk
SPR_Skyfire_Observer.apk
SPR_Skyfire_Toolbar.apk
SprintExtensionProvider.apk
SprintID.apk
SprintTouch.apk
Vtt-Sprint.apk
xtra_t_app.apk
Zone-Sprint.apk
WIFIOffloader.apk
You can use root explorer. Look for them in /system/app, /system/priv-app.
You need to follow the steps one by one for the next time.

LG G3 D852 Virgin Mobile Mini OS Unresponsive

Hi there! Long time user but this will be my first post as I've exhausted all options. A while back i rooted my G3 on marsh mellow, everything was fine until one day it entered a bootloop in my pocket. I went about using the TOT method on androidrootz (I'm not allowed to post urls yet) to revive it as my recovery seemed to have been erased during the bootloop. After much trial and error I got the LG Flash tool to work! but not completely Using upgrade dl gives me the 3 at the end but then continues to bootloop, I tried doing a manual factory reset but it only flashed the factory reset screen and then continued into the boot loop. Another method suggested was to use Board dl, I also had success with that but I brings me to a new problem. After finishing the flash tool it boots to the mini OS and displays Auto Touch Test: Dont' touch the screen! but the screen is completely unresponsive and I can't even tap okay to clear the window. Holding down the power button while tapping does nothing and a manual factory reset doesn't either! So I'm stumped, any help would be appreciated! I feel like I'm so close to having it fixed but i just need that one piece. I either need to solve the bootloop with upgrade dl or the unresponsive mini OS with board dl.

Urgent Help needed: Lg g5 not going beyond configuring your phone screen

g8 (att) bootloop

Hey hey people. Been around this site for years since i had my htc mogul i believe. I searched for some help with the issue im having and came up empty. I have an lg g8 thinq and it took an update late sunday when i was asleep so i dont know when. It immediately was acting funky and by the end of day - up until this moment it has been boootlooping i even fac reset and it isnstill bootlooping-brought to att and their hands are tied talk to lg or assurion (boy they really are jelpful there.....) anyone out there experiencing this because its my primary phone qnd as i sit typing this im on my old s8 qctive that is beat to **** but pulled the sim from my g8 and stuck it in here. Anyway it will get past the lg logo and start bootlooping at the att circle/emblem-every time until the battery dies. Hopefully i didnt break amy rules again i havent been on in awhile but this really is beyond frustrating my whole life in that phone and idk last time i backed it up but its been awhile. THANK YOUA to ANYONE that can help point me in righht direction. Also i forgot to mention non rooted completely stock.
So you've already held power and volume down at the same time with the phone on?
I am too having the same problem. Mine is a T-Mobile LG G8, stock non rooted, got updated last week and then acted funny(some apps crashed), I restarted it won't reststart; Stucked on some LG-G8 screen. I hard reset it (Vol Down-Power/LG Screen, release and then hold power button; and then hard reset), After that: it stuck on boot loop.
What I can try next?

When my update came through on T-Mobile it got stuck at the Tmo splash screen. Pressed the power and volume down until it turned black and let go. It rebooted normally after.

Hi guys, am just a newbie here from Malaysia and a new owner of a 2nd hand LG G8 ThinQ (LM-G820UM); no idea where it's from but got it already with Android 10 update.
'twas working perfectly fine for a few days, but suddenyl got stuck in bootloop after I reboot (Power + Volume Down buttons) the phone when I was trying to change to a different SIM card. It would remain in bootloop until the battery is drained.
I can connect it to my laptop and seems to be detected pretty good and able to switch to Download Mode, but can't re-flash with either Flash Tool or LGUP.
- Have tried to use different Flash Tool versions - in version 2014, the flashing will just stop at server error, in 2016 and 2025 versions it will require LGST login (apparently to connect to some server which require registration).
- same goes true for LGUP, both versions 1.14 and 1.16 (patched version) will just stop at 4% then the apps will close without any error or anything happening in the phone.
Appreciate any help to recover this phone which I paid for a few hundred dollars as I was impressed with the spec and was so delighted to a very good spec phone; then this happened.
Thanks!

I'm in the same boat but with ATT. LM-G820UM I believe. Completely stock software. I just had it sitting on the charging dock for a while and I came back to it and it was stuck in a bootloop. No idea what's caused it, but I can't seem to get it to stop for anything. This is one of the many reasons I find not having a removable battery deeply upsetting :/
okay will try that as soon as i can get this thing to boot normal again it now stuck on the lg g8s screen think i flashed the wrong abl_a and abl_b files
Has there been any progress in getting this fixed?
Other than flashing the entire stock kdz not sure what else can be done...

another boot loop thread

Hi,
I have a Brazilian stock mMoto Z2 Force, XT1789-05, never unlocked the bootloader or root or whatever in this phone, just did the normal Motorola updates as they arrived.
2 months ago I had some battery issues, changed it and was working just fine until this morning. Today the phone restarted after I closed the alarm, and got stuck in boot loop.
I read some threads about this problem for people messing with Roms and baseband, but they don't really apply for me.
The phone reaches the Motorola logo and after a few seconds it restarts.
I can go into fastboot and select recovery mode, but then there's just a black screen with "No commands" written.
Tried Factory Mode with no success.
LMSAA don't recognize the phone, and don't let me select the correct one.
Is there anything else I could try? Maybe force LMSA to do it's magick? manually selecting my phone model for example?
