Do not follow how to patch kernel? Where is patch?
How to "add" graphics? Overwrite files by yours? What is "new" in graphics?
Maybe, you can change sound libs (or something else?...), because when recording video with non-stock cameras, sound is very ****tty....:cyclops:

i dont know what u want to be done, but i think that u want a developer to build a kernel with these patches to get a european zImage?
ill try and report!
thank triplex76
i upload zImage.
i trierd ...euro kernel don't run on my Galaxy Tab.
i guess euro kernel doesn't match a roms.
I haven't gone deep looking into the kernel clock table cause thanks to richardtrip he did an awesome job patching an euro one for 1200 mhz and it works without issues on the older roms (JK familiy firmware) that's what I'm using cause till now I've not found the need to update.everything is absolutely smooth and working as it should and I personally think there is no need to fix something that's not broken...till now I saw that the most of custom roms are somewhat bugged...even the stock newer firmware got some issues ...so I will stay with my modded JK5 until something fully tested will come out.
but i got no problem testing newer stuff I can always go back to my own and that's what I did/do if I don't like it.
thanks Landroid
oh,i think....i'm grateful to many hackers.
And i want to repayment of a kindness.
i will be expecting your work !!
is the zImage u posted for EURO tab?
Thanks for the patch, I was waiting for someone to take a deeper look into the frequency tables as I don't have much skill doing it.
I'll work on one for CDMA at the very least.
i usually use this zImage on japan model.
and many geeks use this zImage in japan.
i don't know that run on euro tab.

oh, Bauxite.
you look like you good.
you gave me a lot of hint.
you said that about voltage control is very important.
it is very truth. but low voltage can run high clocks.
Important fact is that we have to up 'dvs_arm_voltage_set_1DOT2GHZ tables' to very high voltage.

Do you know if this supports EXT4? Great job I am hoping to take advantage of you work. I used Bauxite kernel when I had the sprint tab and it worked great for me.
@Landroid
this kernel is include ext3,ext4.
but,I guess I'll have to edit boot init script?!when i want to mount ext3,ext4 Partitions.
sorry, I'm a android beginner.
i bought galaxy tab Last month.
sweet I will be putting this on when it fully confirmed it will work on a EXT4.
@jkurl
i have finished building a zimage.
it can mount ext4 on boot init.rc script.
Please check!!

[Nov.15][dev][Kernel]2.6.32 T3 Kernel R3 with Sense 35 GPU driver

What is T3?
T3 (Tytung – 3dak) Kernel, it's based on Tytung_R12.4 kernel source repository,
GIT repository Source url:
https://gitorious.org/~3dak/linux-on-wince-htc/t3-linux_on_wince_htc
it has two branches: master branch for CM/AOSP/MIUI build, it will keep existing hastarin r8.6 gpu driver, sense branch for HTC sense 3.x build.
All credits to Tytung, Hastarin, Makinus , every patch providers and contributors.
The target of this repository is tweaking/adding features/optimizing Linux Kernel for sense build(SD/MAG/Nand/cLK) and try to getting better speed and performance on sense build. I will optimize the kernel on schedulers,CPU, Memory Allocator, IO shceduler , cpu frequence and so on…
also will add a sense branch on current 3dak_Rx.x SD/MAG kernel for those bulid wanna boot SD ROM from both winmo and magldr
Worked new features based on tytung r12.4
-BFQ IO Scheduler as default(Faster than CFQ)
-SLQB Memory allocator as default (Faster than SLAB)
-LAZM to compress image to get smaller zImage , better than GZIP.
-migrated HTC official 2.6.35 bravo GPU driver for sense branch . Finished and worked fine and better perfermance on sense build per boxmax experiments.
...
Next plan:
GPU driver tweak
try better and suitable CPU scheduler. BFS? TinyRCU?...
Changes log:
Code:
T3 R3 Changes:
-GPU driver: fixed color banding issue . (Credits to marc1706)
-added CPUfreq governor:smartassV2, added TinyRCU
-Sense: revert old camera driver.
-disable 2WCRec to avoid speaker sizz issue.
T3 R2 Changes:
- Merged tytung r13 commits:Added Alsa sound driver.(Credits to Cotulla & Tytung ),HTC auto white balance calibration driver.
-Driver/Cpufreq: Add CPUFreq governor 'smartassV2'
-enbale 2WREC
-Sense branch: Camera driver updated to HTC official Bravo 2.6.35 camera driver.
T3 R1 : Initial release.
-It based on Tytung R12.4.(Credits to tytung ) with some new features.
-Added VR IO Scheduler.
-Added BFQ IO Scheduler as default.
-Added SLQB Memory Allocator asd default
-LZMA to compress image to get smaller zImage file.
-Sense branch:Use HTC official Bravo 2.6.35 GPU driver to replace hastrarin r8.6 GPU driver
P.S. Use this kernel at your risk.
here is latest R3 verison:
P.S. kernl pack is just kernel files for build cooker. it is not a CWM recovery zip.I'm lazy to create recovery zip. initrd.gz or boot.img in kernel pack is my initrd for miui build with data.img supported. maybe it is not suitable for your build. if you are ROM cooker, you know how to use it.
T3 R3 Master: cLK MAG
T3 R3 Sense: cLK MAG
[old versions]
T3 R2: cLK Mag
T3 R2 Sense: cLK Mag
T3 R1: cLK Mag
T3 R1 Sense: cLK Mag Only for sense build or no camera preview. and maybe your build needs this : correct lib/hw&egl files for sense buld.
Support
Good job.
My test results: camera basically no lag, there are few. Very great.
Thanks man for your continued efforts
Did you solve problem with graphical glitches in sense 3.0/3.5 roms?
This is really nice
What about 3G/Wifi switch ? Is it kernel related ?
Yes, but it seems to be EU user related
Hi,
If I understand correctly, I can test this with miui rom? Currently I am using the latest build of miui...
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Woooo.. Great job will test on my SD Version .. feedback later
I hope this isn't a back port kernel. I don't want unneeded time to be wasted. Check out my post on the 2.6.35 kernel thread for the camera fix.
Good Thread!
Awesome Idea !!!
Great Work camecorder ... No Lag or Less ... i tested

Kernel with exfat support and mtkcamera for Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1

Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1 is probably the best marshmallow rom for amami so far , although it has some problems: camera app cannot take pictures at 20.7mp, and exfat-formated sdcard is not supported.
So I made a kernel to fix these problems. You can flash with twrp or flashfire.
Kernel_Amami_AOSP_6_20160709.zip contains aosp kernel built with exfat-nofuse and some other features, as well as other executables or libraries needed to identify and mount exfat(vold , blkid etc.) This may work with other aosp 6.0.1 based roms, but I never tried by myself.
2016.06.18 : I ported some features from other kernels like M5 kernel. Features included:
1. Various cpufreq governors, hotplug drivers and i/o schedulers
2. KCAL color control by @savoca
3. Faux Sound Control V3
4. CPU/GPU OC & UV
5. Vibrator intensity control
6. Ultra-ksm
7. Kexec-hardboot
8. Dynamic Fsync 1.2
9. Mac80211 injection patch and HID patch for keyboard support
10. Sysfs interface to Enable / Disable CRC on the data blocks
11. Exfat and Paragon NTFS(UFSD)
12. Zram
13. Merge upstream patches up to 3.10.102
MtkCamera.zip contains camera app from Mediatek devices with lollipop. It can take 20.7mp photos(3936 x 5248) and has some useful features like visual effects and qrcode scanner.

What left to be done : GPU governors, A few hotplug drivers/cpufreq governors not ported(hotplug : alucard , mako , intelliplug , cpufreq : HYPER, OndemandPlus, Nightmare , ElementalX, maybe more) , some of these features need to be modifeid or abandoned.

Hi, I install this, work well, but camera still laggy . What do you think, how else you can improve the image processing? The picture was much too sharp ... but it's better than before.
And...you can also add in your kernel any functions like as KryptonianKernel or AdvancedKernel

Laggy camera is a driver issue, just wait until sony updates software binaries for amami.
Hmm, why you delete MTKCamera? You have another app for taking photo in 21mp?)
MTKCamera cannot use frontcam. I think @SpiritCroc will try to add 20.7mp option to SnapdragonCamera, so wait for a new release.

need help - CPU GOVs and frequencies
Hi,
first of all thanks for the kernel! I'm just migrated from RR Lollipop to MM DU ROM (today to the build of 17. June). I have strange issues with the kernel.
I can not change the CPU govs. More critical: The minimum CPU frequency is shown to be 1.8 GHz. Whatever I try, I cannot get the values gov/freq to stick.
Always when I reopen an tuning app, the settings are reverted.
Root seems to work fine. Also tried to disable SE-linux via terminal ("setenforce 0"). The same.
(Combinations I tried: kernel audiutor, performance control, system tuner... also on DU (3. june) + kernel (5. june)
Can somebody help me out?
Who can permanently adjust the CPU settings on DU with/without this kernel?
Thanks in advance!

Compiled with Linaro GCC 6.2 ARM toolchain
kexec patch (Multirom support)
UV support
Working button longpress on wired headset
KCAL display control by savoca
Kernel Samepage Merging (KSM)
Simple Thermal driver by franciscofranco
Qualcomm's MPDecision hotplugging driver is replaced by Nvidia's CPUQuiet for better UX (backported 3.10 version)
CAF's CPU boost driver is replaced by sultanxda's cpu_input_boost driver
Tuned Interactive governor with franciscofranco patches (better freq scaling)
Custom camera blobs from OOS 3.x on any (almost) ROM!
Optimized Low Memory Killer (LMK)
Charging current control by boeffla
QoS patches from Linux 3.10 kernel
Optimized FSync algorithm and ability to disable it <-- Use with caution!
Many many other little adjustments (Over 660 changes have been made to the kernel source!)
Anykernel installation
Very smooth UI
Almost full KA support (WiP)
I've forgotten much, you can check my source on Github
Installation:
Download latest kernel and camera blobs zips (you have to flash blobs only once or after ROM reflash)
Reboot recovery
Flash them
Reboot

FAQ:
Q: What should I flash first: blobs or kernel?
A: It doesn't matter
Q: Which ROMs are supported?
A: Nougat ROMs with CM kernel are supported. It's most of ROMs for Oneplus One (LOS, AICP, RR etc).
Q: I have issues!
A: Flash ROM => flash SuperSU/Magisk (optionally) => flash needed kernel and blobs
Q: I sill have issues!
A: Take logcat and kmsg and send me in PM (Telegram preferred)
Q: I flashed my favorite Boeffla kernel and camera stopped working! Help!
A: If you want properly working device with custom blobs, flash this kernel, not any other (except it is mentioned by kernel author).
Changelog:
4_2 (09.03.2017) - Simple GPU Algorithm is replaced by Adreno idler, switched from Anykernel to lazyflasher, performance improved much (battery may drain). Now you can flash kernel on ROM with sultanxda camera HAL
3 (17.02.2017) - sultanxda version of blobs is dropped, added lionheart governor, fully reworked default performance profile (better performance and battery life), default read ahead size is 512KB by default
2_1 (06.02.2017) - Little adjustments to sultanxda version (both kernel and blobs zips updated), no need to update if you're currently on beta2. Alpha2_1 version of OOS blobs
beta2 (01.02.2017) - SELinux is set to Permissive mode by default to fix most of camera problems; updates from LineageOS; some charging fixes
beta1 (26.01.2017) - Initial Release
Finally the magic begins.
The magic is out!
Good job
Interesting. So you're saying you can flash this kernel on any ROM and have SultanXDA's camera HAL?

You are right
Do I need to flash sultan blobs separately on lineageos??
Thanks for this mileage.
Installed both zips over the latest resurrection remix 7.1.1 and unfortunately the camera keeps crashing when trying to take photos and videos. Tried with the main and secondary camera and also with flash on and off.
Also saw that 1080p and 2.5k video recording of the secondary camera is not present, so i guess is still a WIP

Does this kernel have uv support?

Thanks! Until I fix this, try to use ut with SELinux Permssive. 1080p and 2.5k formats support is on ROM side
Anyone with official LineageOS? Results? Haha

Yes, its literally magical but it works. Try it for yourself.
Awesome kernel, great battery and slick performance.
So this is it. A prophetic hero who would arise to port Sultan's kernel works to Nougat.
Guess I'm keeping my OPO for another year.
flashed the kernel
also flashed the sultan camera libs, no camera crash experienced, so far great, i cant tell the difference though
Hey! Is this a caf kernel?
