Forgot to mention: VOLTE is supposed to work according to some testers.
For camera use MotoCamera.
Next build will contain kernel patches like Kcal (display color management) for those who have burn-in.

Awesome kernel will be rebased?

Awesome looks great so far! Nice work devs. Waiting for someone to confirm if volte works. What about the random reboots?

I am current currently on RR 6.2 Oreo, will this zip work on it? Also I'll try this ROM tonight. Also will the camera performance be same as stock ROMs?

Read the OP. The memleak is fixed. I'm using 2GB version and it works like a charm. Therefore, there is no need ?

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system I' ve added some changes from CyanogenMod and Codeaurora.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.

TWRP Recovery v3.0.0-0 with F2FS support (JDC Themed): RomHut
Installation
TWRP Recovery v3.0.0-0 with F2FS support (JDC Themed) is suggested for installation
Device variants supported: I9505, I9505G, I9507, I9508, I337, M919, I545, R970, L720, S970G, S975L.
Do not ask if it works on 9500, 9506, 9515... or any other phone model that is not a variant of 9505!!
AT&T and Verizon users: since your bootloader is locked, you must be on the UCUAMDB or UCUAMDL bootloader if you own an AT&T phone, otherwise if Verizon you must be on the VRUAMDK bootloader in order to use this ROM. Do getprop ro.bootloader in Terminal Emulator or through ADB shell to find out which bootloader you have
First time or clean install:
Download the ROM from the link above
Download GApps package for Nougat 7.1
[OPTIONAL] Download ThemeReady GApps package for N arm
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in Recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Optional: convert to F2FS
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose AOSP ROM zip file
Choose GApps zip file
Choose TBO Theme Ready Gapps zip file (needed for complete theming of some Gapps with OMS overlays)
Flash
Reboot system
Update over an existing previous AOSP N build:
Via OTA Updates:
Open OTA Updates app
Download the update
Press "Install"
Your device will automatically reboot and install the update.
Manual update with TWRP:
Download updated build from the link above
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot in TWRP Recovery
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose AOSP ROM zip file
Flash
Reboot system
NOTE: the "dirty" flash to update an existing version DO NOT NEED any new re-flash of Gapps and TBO... integrated BackupTool during rom install will backup your gapps (already installed) and restore them after rom update!
NOTE: This ROM is dex-preoptimized, so do not wipe cache and Dalvik after rom flash!
First boot after install/update takes a while, wait at least 5 minutes for it to boot.
To convert cache, data and system partitions to F2FS look in post below.
General notes
Rom is pre-rooted and has Magisk v13.0 beta integrated
Theming: rom has from this build the new SUBSTRATUM THEME ENGINE. Use the integrated Substratum app to apply OMS overlays (OverlaysManagerService).
Theming: to apply OMS overlays to some apps, you need also to flash TBO GoogleApps-ThemeReady-LP-MM-N-v33.6.zip right after your Gapps package from recovery. This means to be clear: ROM + GAPPS + TBO
We use 5.1 blobs for radio interface. Update your phone to latest Baseband and Bootloader available for your variant (must be a version 5.0 official Baseband)

Using F2FS
What it is? Wikipedia
To use it you should first convert your EXT4 partitions through recovery, before installing this ROM.
Download and install this TWRP version: https://romhut.com/addons/twrp-2-8-7-2-f2fs
Wipe->advanced wipe
Select data->change or repair file system->f2fs (Warning: internal storage is formatted, make a backup of your personal data before doing this!)
Select cache->change or repair file system->f2fs
No need to convert /system as it is basically read-only, therefore better to keep it as ext4.
Now you can install this ROM following installation steps in post above

You are ****ing awesome, guys. Holy ****!!!!! Thank you all everyone!
Downloaded, you guys are the best, thanks
classic BB...wont sleep until build the sh%t hehehhe
I'm speechless.....
Awesome work guys!
Gapps?
You guys are amazing. Looking forward to flash this.
I assume you want a clean Flash
Tried this one GoogleApps-ThemeReady-LP-MM-N-v13.0. It says play services missing.
Retrying with : open_gapps-arm-7.0-nano-20160901
The above Gapps worked.
Epic night
Tried to install Busybox Pro and AdAway both fail.
Phone works I get a little x above the signal bar it turns out that's because data is disabled.
Fixed my old Busybox was the culprit, installed busybox from market and adaway installed properly
Installed and running fine. AT&T with GApps micro package. Quite smooth!
It seems like the included root does not work for me. GPS and Bluetooth and other functions seem to work fine so far.
I will continue to test but it is an awesome initial build!
Thanks!
EDIT: NFC is greyed out for me as well and I am unable to turn it on.
EDIT 2: Auto timezone settings appears to not be working consistently.
EDIT 3: Video recording is not working. Says it cannot connect to camera.
Great rom. But someone has a problem when creating a gesture to recent applications in the nova launcher or using the app "swipe home button" (To not have to always be pressing the phone button)? And i have problems to access the stweaks too.
The rom is very fast and solid? Great work BB
And sorry for my english guys

I am BLOWN AWAY absolutely stunning work.
Skype works, everything that I had on MM works I have not tested BT yet but judging by what I've seen so far that will probably work to.
For Adaway to work you need to install busybox free from market.
STweaks says no root access or timeout. Not sure what that is about, Is ADB enabled in Root?(It upgraded to 2.78 automatically)
Missing the reboot menu but you can use this it works https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.petrus.tools.reboot
UNBELIEVABLE FOR A FIRST BUILD

Clean flash?
I can confirm that the build does not yet support CDMA devices. On VZW it freezes at the boot logo. I've tried every flash method I know ( clean, dirty, dirty wipe nothing, no gapps, no su2.52.zip, etc). I am unable to get a log with adb by any method. Wish I could get something to help troubleshoot it.

AT&T USERS: since your bootloader is locked, you must be on the UCUAMDB or UCUAMDL bootloader.
VERIZON USERS: since your bootloader is locked, you must be on the VRUAMDK bootloader.Do 'getprop ro.bootloader' in Terminal Emulator or through ADB shell to find out which bootloader you have.
TWRP
You are REQUIRED to be using TWRP 3.2.3-0 to be able to flash any Pie rom.
If your device does not have an updated relevant version then you can use the standard JFLTE version.
If you have a device with a locked but exploitable bootloader as above (AT&T + Verizon) then use the Loki-patched version.
UNSUPPORTED DEVICES
GT-I9515 is not / will never be supported (slightly different hardware)
GT-I9500 is not / will never be supported (completely different hardware)

INSTALL
Move any files you want to keep to PC - or you will lose them !
Make sure you are using the unofficial JDC version of TWRP above. Earlier versions will give Updater process ended with ERROR: 7.
Download the Optimized LineageOS rom , root solution and a Gapps 8.1 package (nano / pico or larger) for arm
Move the Optimized LineageOS rom, root solution and Gapps package to external storage
Boot into recovery mode (hold volume UP, HOME, and POWER button for 1 second after vibrate)
Wipe > advanced wipe > select (enable / tick) for Dalvik / Art Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Cache
Swipe to wipe at bottom of screen
Back to main start screen
Wipe > format data
Type ‘yes’ and press blue checkmark at the bottom-right corner
Back to main start screen and select Install to install rom, root solution, Gapps and Aroma.
DO NOT wipe cache / dalvik / art after flashing as this rom is pre-deodexed
Reboot System! Enjoy!
Once first boot is completed you can safely move your files back to Internal Storage
NOTICE:
First boot after an install / update takes a while, wait at least 5 - 10 minutes for it to boot.
Phone will be hot / slow after first boot as dex optimisation of your apps occurs and media catalog is built of your audio / video files.
If the LED stops flashing and goes solid with any color then SuperSU did not correctly trigger the reboot. You can either pull the battery -OR- hold down the power button for 15 seconds till the led / screen goes blank, then let go of the power button. Then after another 4 seconds it will automatically boot and vibrate and everything is 100% normal. It only happens that one time on a new Rom install with SuperSU.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JDC aroma flashable addon
This is an optional addon that needs flashed through TWRP after rom, SU and gapps.
Download from HERE.
It contains working tested versions of:Adaway, Arise, AudioFX, Bromide, Buffcore Aduitor, Eleven, Google Camera, Magisk, Magisk Uninstaller, Mixplorer, Snap, Toolbox, YT Vanced, Wallpaperpicker
The Buffcore branded version of kernel auditor is the full version. It has a settings page for boeffla wakelock blocker editing and a spectrum switcher page, so no longer need spectrum app, and other JF specific tweaks.

Some notes from me:
Use opengapps 8.x and ARM ..not ARM64
Ledify custom pattern
Some notes about ledify. In case u need some "hardcore" edits or even create your own ledify patterns
here is a small tutorial:
at /system/bin/ledify the script exists.
as you can see at line 236 , the default pattern is the 'heartbeatblue'.
your options are:
disabled)
heartbeatblue)
heartbeatgreen)
heartbeatred)
jdcdefault)
nexus)
nexusreverse)
police)
secdefault)
if u want to create a new one do this :
go to line 70 and add a function with the name u want.lets say OPTCM
Code:
OPTCM() {
//write your routine here as the others.
}
now go to RUN() and add
Code:
optcm) OPTCM;;
finally go to final lines where it says
Code:
# Default
PATTERN=heartbeatblue
and change it to
Code:
# Default
PATTERN=optcm
save the file and u r ready.
For better results u better go to twrp,mount the system partition,take the ledify file to your pc,edit it and push it again back to it's location.

fully optimized toolchain flags;
reduced sleep timeout;
fastcharge properly functioning now - AC forced on highest you can attain and USB now working higher than 460mA
dynamic file syncing - early_suspend and dyn_fsync by default;
boeffla wakelock blocker;
print to dmesg log when a suspend gets broken;
Printing broken suspends to dmesg.log - you can check the dmesg.log file to see what is waking your device from suspend. Using SYSLOG, grep the dmesg for "active wakeup source" to see if you get any reports. Alarmtimer here is OK, other WLs are worth checking, then possibly adding to the blocked WL list if deemed safe.
Wakelock blocker : the following WLs are blocked by default -
Code:
qcom_rx_wakelock; wlan; wlan_wow_wl; wlan_extscan_wl; netmgr_wl;
NETLINK; IPA_WS; [timerfd]; wlan_ipa; wlan_pno_wl; wcnss_filter_lock;
_rx_wake; wlan_ctrl_wake; wlan_wake; qbt_wake_source
you can also ADD more yourself if needed to the following user file in ROOT
/sys/class/misc/boeffla_wakelock_blocker/wakelock_blockerThis will be a list delimited by ; semicolon and no-spaces. WLs should be exact case you find them.
So an example addon file would be
Code:
mmc2_detect;PowerManagerServiceWakelocks;msm_hsic_host
The wakelock blocker may give absolutely no difference to your battery life in suspend - It will only help if your issues are wakelock based. Monitor the log file for any broken suspends for a few nights, look them up in google to see what they are (some wakelocks are not safe to remove) then try adding any identified wakelocks to the user file.

Does it support whitelisting apps from dark mode?
Does it support MIUI Camera with the same stock 48MP quality?
Does it support adjusting freeform windows despite the manifests?
Does it support skipping unlocking the device with a PIN after a reboot
Does it support invert-nav-bar (force close back button)?
Does support Game Mode?
Does it kill apps in the background for just switching between them?
Does Mi sound work for wireless and wired headphones?
Does it support pop-up?
Does it show internal shared adopted storage on TWRP?
And does it have ADB over network/NTFS File format/Soft Reboot/Advanced Power Menu/Quick actions via pop-up notifications.

Stop asking these same questions on every ROM!
You do know about Pixel binning?
There's no such thing as a gaming ROM so stop asking for features..
Try for yourself. It's GOOD LUCK with Development. Not hard luck...
Can anyone provide screenshot of customization?

You may be right. I should have said good luck not hard luck why didn't you say that from the beginning.
I just want to help in order they create different ROMs. I don't remember but I may have seen an AOSP rom with the Game Mode so I don't understand the point behind Pixel Binning?
I may have created my ROM if I was developer . I'm not ready for it so sorry to let you down.

Now playing will be removed, I forgot to remove it.
about the low brightness it doesn't happen to me so if you have a way to show me and send logcat when unlock.
Overall the ROM is GOOD and I can tell the kernel has gone through some kind of optimizations to make it this smooth.
Here are the things I noticed though :
- No Smooth Display Option in the settings
- High Touch Polling Rate doesn't work.
- Screen sets itself to 60hz after unlocking the screen and doing something right away and goes back to 90hz if you don't touch it for like a second.
is there a flashing guide for this please?
does not allow you to enter the bank application (Sberbank)

You also facing brightness issue?
I haven't noticed any problem with brightness so far but my testing was short lived as I have gone back to the old build of PixelOS for its stability on my end. May fully daily drive this one as the bugs gets ironed out.

- Smooth display not needed it sets as 90hz and down to 60hz if not need to go on 90hz
- High touch polling rate working for me (hopping u not removed the kernel included I will check anyway, in case I find a bug or in case I have to drop it momentarily.)
- The screen drops the frequency to 60hz is normal due to the new vrr changes and when it detects that the screen is touched it goes back to 90hz or when you really need to go to 90hz (you almost don't notice it). https://github.com/TheXPerienceProj...mmit/1f459efe3803b87455cfa21d4be1fb1d4dad6756

I used the stock kernel as it was already very smooth on my end. The High Touch Polling Rate at display settings can be turned on, but upon leaving the display settings and going back, it's automatically turned off.
For anyone facing caller id bug (where your number is appended to the caller one) there is a solution - disable VoLTE.
The problem is well known for LineageOS for several months but still no success for some countries like Poland.
Gitlab Issue
does safetynet pass without root?
Is it possible to replace the gapps in this ROM with MicroG?
