I am sure Huawei is aware of this, give it some time and await for software updates, the user below is on a global variant . When i get my device next week, will test as may be a bug with Chinese version and not global

My Chinese variant looks good.

Thank you for the replys @IanTailor27 I'm using EVR-L29 as well. @wildlime so it might be a problem with 117 then @Jerky_san good to know.
Don't update yours yet as it gets quite annoying at times.

@wildlime it also crops you from your background. I hope it gets fixed soon.

@wildlime can you test google pay? Can you set it up? Add a card? Successfully make a payment? My L29 will be here next week, so I'm curious.

I had a problem with the Night mode and I could fix it by force closing the camera app and cleaning the data and cache. Try to do the same maybe it will fix your phone issue.

Thank you for contacting Huawei Support - UK .
In regards to your query kindly be informed that lightning effects require using the flash and because the flash uses light in order to illuminate your face (the closest thing to the camera), it will automatically make the background comes our black/not recorded. This is intended to work this way and it does not mean that the device is faulty.
Should you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
As we are constantly focused on improving our services, we would be very grateful if you could take a few seconds to complete the 3-question survey below, in order to rate the support you received from our side.
Happy holidays,
Leah

So I told her that flash on selfies is software only, white square thing and it cannot be switched always on and on main camera it doesn't work with flash on neither... Her respond:
Thank you for coming back to us with more details on the matter.
In regards to your query, kindly be informed that certain modes designed for taking selfies will automatically delete the background. This is not a fault with the device, and neither can it be changed as this is the way the particular modes were designed.
So this is apparently how it should work...

Awesome, thanks~
Very nice indeed, it also works on interop-locked phones if u remove:
<Capability Name="ID_CAP_INTEROPSERVICES" />
From the WMAppManifest.xml within the xap, just tested it on my "interop-locked", dev unlocked Trophy, works great.
Thanks for this app. Screenshots from my OMNIA 7 are attached.
Is it possible to release an english version ?
I mean that you replace the chinese letters for the "start button" and filename of the saved screenshot.
Best regards
contable
Interop edit worked for me as well, thanks! Good screen captures, but not all sync to PC? Even though they appear on phone, in saved pictures album. Have to rename as they all have same filename. once renamed they sync.
can you increase the pic quality?(能不能提升一下截图的图片质量)
For the sake of convenience, here is an edited version with the interop line removed. It should function on interop-locked devices, though mine is unlocked so I can't test it. I also renamed the app to "Capture", so you won't get Asian invading your app list
If the original developer is unhappy with what I've done, simply send a PM and I'll take it down ASAP.

thank you...nice app there
I am severely questioning the legitimacy of this one (installing the newer one as I speak). I too ran into it randomly taking screenshots when it wasn't even open. Might just be paranoia, but it definitely does seem to be acting maliciously.
Nice app but if you could make an application to broadcast the names screens with the date and time they were taken or to be excluded after each saved screenshot (1 minute is too long). Now all sceens have the same name and it's a problem when sending to the server.

This version worked for my unlocked HTC HD2 with 7.10.8862 (HD2O rom), I was under the impression that I can capture many screens by pressing the windows key, as long as I stayed within the time limit, apparently it will only save one screenshot per allotted time, or in my case the last one showing before the time expired, e.g. no need to press anything for the capture.
It's a functional app, limited because of taking only one shot at a time but it works so many thanks to you.
Is there a version in English, even though it is simple to remember what to click even if it is written in Chinese! (lol)
Thank you! :good:

Good image quality, better than reviewers had made me believe.
Camera quality looks better than i have been hearing :good:
The three pictures here are from the stock camera (host: flickr... You're adviced!)
The quality is not that good using the stock camera. Using the Lenovo Supercamera or Focal they look much better as you are in control of the manual adjustments.

Well, if you downloaded the latest version (3.5.5) I am afraid to tell you it didn't work with me either. Just the first version (release) did.
Some of its features give force close in almost every device though. For example, Panorama cannot be used properly. The same happens to "Magic GIF" and some filter options as well as the "Super Gallery". All the other Configuration options work superb by the way, even normal GIF and a few filters.
The thread where I (think) got the first release from is the following:
[App][Share] Lenovo k900 Camera
I'm not 100% sure, but check that out. I'll try to re-upload the one I have.
UPDATE: Here's the link to the one I am using:
Lenovo Super Camera.apk (Host: Mega)
UPDATE 2: This is another thread with the original and 2 other updates. The latest (3.5.5) does not work for me, but the first release as well as the first update (3.1.3) do work.

[Q] Missing RAW Manual controls?

Hey everyone. I just updated the camera to the update that allows RAW support. Unfortunately, it isn't doing me any good. When I swap from the regular camera I lose the ability to set up manual settings. I can take an image but it looks like it is over exposing by a ton. The highlights are absolute white as the camera tries to bring out the darkest portions of the photo. Where you would swap between camera exposure modes in the normal camera module, is replaced only by the gear for settings and I have no 3 dot menu. Basically the RAW control is useless (for me) because the camera goes and does whatever it wants without letting me control it.
I can keep shooting in the regular camera module but I am a professional photographer and would love to be able to touch up my photos in lightroom or photoshop for some fun.
At this point what I am wondering is, am I the only one with this issue? I will get ahold of a screenshot on the phone so that everyone can see what is happening as well.

This is exactly what I did as well. I was super excited for RAW since I use Lightroom and Photoshop a ton.
Yep same here.
What does the raw image look like in photoshop? Are you able to adjust the levels since a raw image is supposed to contain all the info to be controllable just like the settings in regular mode, but in post production? (as you know, but someone else might not)
These photos could look just fine, they just have to be photoshopped, which was the point of raw anyway, but just look like trash in the phone beforehand. Of course, being that washed out is a pita
Just curious, I haven't taken the update
http://i.imgur.com/ygSm0mW.jpg
TADA! Raw vs edited raw. And you can definitely edit every value in photoshop
Same problem
Having the exact same issue. No manual shutter or focus control, causing my images to be extremely overblown, even putting it into light room can't get the highlights in control, seems like the shutter is staying open for a long time because everything is super blurry. I've seen screenshots of people using the camera and having access to the manual settings, I don't understand why they aren't there for me.
subscribed. +1 on same problem.

S20 Ultra ( dual sim/ exynos ) Green Overlay issue

Well as the topic states, there's green overlay / green tint on certain apps when you have frame rate set to 96 / 120
I'm on the s20 ultra , dual sim exynos variant
How to replicate :
1. make sure you're running 120fps
2. brightness i reckon should be below 30% or so
3. open telegram, open any chat and click the attach file button
4. green overlay will appear ; refer to the images below
i. no tint

5. horrendous green overlay also appears on games like pubg and a few others. I never played games but i did download it to test.
Hope Samsung is aware of this and does something about it.
EDIT:
Added list of apps which are facing this bug
- Attach file section in the Telegram app
- Adding card section in the Samsung pay app
- pubg
- snapchat
- google maps
Snapchat as well. I've switched to1440p/60hz for now.

Need some to tweet this thread to samsung.
Saw many reports on the samsung forum but they never got back to the users. Always with the generic reset your phone replies.
Good that gsmarena has now picked up this thread
https://www.gsmarena.com/some_samsu...ting_a_green_screen_tint_issue-news-42675.php
Im pissed off at Samsung yet again! I pre-ordered s10+ last year and the camera was ****, so returned it.But after looking at the ads and leaks of s20 ultra I was really impressed and pre-ordered it. And this is **** too, and when I see the comparisons between the SD and Exynos- it frustrates me even more. I mean for the same hefty price why arent we getting the same performance? Battery is **** even at 60hz, less than a day! And I see these random issues
- Autofocus wasnt even working after the latest update ATCT
- Editing and saving a contact doesnt save the new information
- Opening a contact page sometimes displays empty fields
- Switching off the notifications for an app from the notification bar (long pressing) doesnt turn off the notifications
- Green tint issue like this
- Night mode doesnt work sometimes, the pictures come up dark as F***
- I also faced in night mode the shutter button doesnt respond sometimes, I have to click it several times
- And the fingerprint, omg so laggy
- And the 'swipe down anywhere on the screen' to get the notification centre doesnt work. I have to like restart the phone to get it to work

GCam 8.2 compatible with Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite

Since it's hard to find some up-to-date guides for Google Camera on A2 Lite in 2021, I just wanted to share the latest info.
GCam 8.2 by the_dise appears to be fully compatible. There is only a small caveat: HDR+ and portrait mode are unsupported on the front camera, so having them on while using the front camera will silently fail.
Photo quality is better with GCam when you focus on the details, and especially night photos are unbelievably better. If you take pictures in the dark, it's a must.
For completeness -- it is necessary to have the Camera2 API enabled in order for GCam to work. Custom ROMs usually have this switch in settings (or even a QS tile), usually titled "Camera HAL", which you need to set to "HAL3". To enable it on the stock ROM, follow this guide by @h3r0n, but use this patched_boot.img by @Antho02 for the latest (11.0.18.0) firmware.

That's not exactly what I mean. I have a different Gcam (GCam_7.0.009_DevMod) and it has "portrait" but also "Focus Effect" on the bottom bar.
it's the second mode i'm referring to.
It's the one where you take a picture and then move the phone up a bit. When enabling it, you get a quick flower icon on screen.

Apparently that was called "Lens Blur" in English and was removed in favor of the portrait mode. (I remember version 7.3 not having it, so somewhere before 7.0 and 7.3 it got removed.)
