[Tips] Bluetooth headphones

I want to know what Bluetooth headphones are the best and why.... Am looking for both ears... also Am somewhat tired of wired headphones... Pictures are welcomes ^_^ Thanks for your time!

I use the Moto S305 headphones. Bought them 2 years ago for $40 Canadian fit well for me and decent range (prob 20-30 ft or more if you have the sight line)
The audio quality is acceptable...Not alot of bass but acceptable for a headphone(i listen to techno/dance/alternative)
i get roughly 8-10 hours before i need to recharge ( so once a week as i commute 2 hours a day)
hard to beat for the price - paid 40 dollars Canadian.
I did try some sony full can headphones(not sold anymore) and they had much better bass(expected) but costed 99.99 so i settled with the cheaper option. There were also a few in ear sets but i personally cant stand ear buds(dont like the feeling)

i second the jaybird freedoms. i tried the moto ones and they actually hurt my head. i wore them an entire 10 minutes before i decided they weren't for me. i picked up the freedoms in place and there's been no issues with them. my only minor grievance is they charge with a mini usb, it would have been so much easier if they used micro since that's pretty much the standard now.

I bought the lg tone hbs-700 bt headset and im liking it pretty well. I work for a telephone company as a service tech so im always out and about, it serves me well
only thing i wish is that it would have more bass i haven't tried using a program to set the eq yet ive owned them for about 3 weeks and use them everyday what i really like about them is that they work great for making phone calls even in the wind i can put the band under my shirt and the people can hear me fine and it cuts the wind out.

I have a pair of Beats Wireless by Dre, i was quite skeptical but they last an incredibly long time and recharge quickly. audio quality is superb as well as range between both my Macbook pro and Galaxy Nexus LTE. the only issue at the moment is on some older Bluetooth types (anything below 3.0) the audio stutters. The company is troubleshooting the issues. (my father works there). they are a little pricey (280$) but I'm really happy with mine, they are comfortable and look stylish too. I get lots of comments at work!

Bluetooth speaker thoughts

Now, before anyone says that a Bluetooth speakers don't belong on this forum, I have been using mine with my One Plus using the AudioFx app, and it has been really impressive..
So, recently I purchased a little Bluetooth speaker for general portability. I purchased a Ks Bluno speaker from amazon for around £20 at Christmas, and I am still using it now. I have found the battery life to be incredible, this speaker will last for around a week of reasonably constant use, and provides excellent sound quality doubled up with the AudioFx app. The Is Bluno comes with a little energy saving LED that flashes different colors to indicate when it is paired with a device, or when the charge is low. This speaker also comes with a small charger with a 3.5mm audio jack integrated so that you can use it in close proximity when it is very low on charge. Also, the range is pretty decent, I can use it from about 20m away before it starts distorting the sound, but for how I use it, I don't really need to be any further range..
Overview:
Overall, I think that for the money, this speaker is very respectable for every day use, and for the money, is very impressive. If any of you guys currently own one, or have had one in the past, I'd be really interested to know how you found it, and how it stacks up to other devices of a similar price range.

I also think that bluetooth speakers are good! I use a bluetooth speaker with my OnePlus One as well (just some cheap £10 thing from lidl) and it is decent. Not the best but not terrible but hey! It works! The range is decent and it is a very convenient thing for me to carry around in my bag on vacations. However as well as having a bluetooth speaker i also carry around my headphones anyway but its still nice to have this little speaker.

using a Galaxy s7 edge since 1.5 years with a 3.5mm Headphonejack, I have to rethink, how to hear music on my Pixel 2 XL.
Tbh i dont like to use 3.5mm headphons with the adapter because of comfort and sound quality.
Thats why I would like to have a nice wired (Type C) or / and good bluetooth in-ear headphones.
Im looking for cheap but good sounding earphones. Any hints?
Actually i guess im going to get Meizu EP51 as bluetooth earphones for running and gym. And now im searching for great wired type c phones.

I'm in the same market, but am waiting to see what happens in the Google Assistant space. Googles website lists a few of the newer premium models that will support Google Assistant, but only some are in stock.

Is there any options for bluetooth 5.0 headphones? Is there any benefit to having BT5.0? The range on my current BT headphones is very weak especially when in my workout carrying case.

I have the Plantronics Backbeat Fit, and I love them. They sound really good (not premium, high-end I don't think), they don't move around when I'm working out, and they are super comfortable. They have a new gen out too. I think I paid $65-70 for them open box?
I checked out reviews for all of the major headphone brands, also tried out a couple cheaper ones. Most did not fair well in reviews except this set, and the others I tried were not good.

Bluetooth 5 has a range 120 to 140 feet, as apposed to 33 feet with most 4.1 bluetooth devices. But you will need a bluetooth device that matches the bluetooth accessory to get the distance. There are also other enhancements such as multiple devices can be used at the same time. I read an articel on this a few weeks ago. I hope my memory has given you some big enhancements with bluetooth 5.

the range and data rate was enhanced but ONLY for bluetooth low energy devices

Bose sound sport wireless for the win. They are awesome sound quality. 150 bucks. In my opinion the new truly wireless 250 dollar ones aren't worth it.

I bought these when I was waiting on my Essential to come, and they actually worked really well. Wasn't sure about the whole noise cancelling thing, but since they don't need to be charged separately (the phone powers the noise cancelling), I figured I would give them a shot. Really liked them, but ended up returning the Essential in favor of the 2 XL, so now I'm just hoping they're compatible, but I'm hoping that won't be an issue...they're not the most comfortable, since they have the large rubber things so they stay in place for active folks (I'm not one of them), but I got used to them. And the noise cancelling and ambient noise feature are actually pretty useful. But they've been sitting dormant since I returned the Essential and came back to good old Shamu (If only I could find a reverse 3.5mm -> USB-C adapter hahah). The fact that I got them for like $80 (down from $200 which is just ridiculous) made it a pretty good deal in my mind. The 17th can't come soon enough!
PS I wanted earbuds and didn't want wireless, or anything that needed to be charged, but the options seem to be extremely limited at this point

Absolutely agree. I need good gym headphones that didnt cost $200, and didnt move or fall out or break from sweat. These things are fantastic and i got'm for like $60 from costco

I got these about a year ago but my Nexus 6p doesn't support apt-x (i know it can with some tweaking in Oreo) can't wait to try them out with my new Pixel next week

How loud did they get? At 100% I would like the music to be uncomfortably loud.

Yep, I love mine. They sound REALLY good for just being little earbuds. I've had very nice over-ear headphones, currently have a pair of AiAiAi's, and the fit beats are pretty good! Jump rope is the only thing I've found that makes them budge. Floor workouts, everything else they don't move.

Another agreed, they are excellent for my HIIT cardio workouts and reasonable price!

I love my PowerBeats 2. I previously tested a bunch of different Bluetooth headphones for the gym and these are the only ones that stay in my ears consistently and have excellent sound. Battery life is around 8 hours and the Bluetooth connection distance is quite good. I can put my phone on a ledge and work my way through a ~100ft area for the weights and never lose signal.
If I decide to go with the Pixel 2 XL (still debating) I'll be getting the PowerBeats 3 for the gym and leave my PowerBeats 2 at my office desk. One area of contention with the loss of the headphone jack is that I work from home full time and have various clients calling me multiple times a day. So I usually have a set of wired headphones sitting on my desk that I can quickly plug in before answering the phone. With the 2 XL I won't have that option so I'll resort to the PowerBeats 2 to always be ready to quickly turn on and pair.
For those wondering, the PowerBeats 3 are essentially the same as the previous generation but with an even greater Bluetooth signal range and longer battery life.

I have been using the Samsung Gear Circle for years. They sounds great, stay in my ear while at the gym and the battery seems to last forever.

These headphones have lasted through 2 washes for me. They sound great if you squeeze them into your ear canal, but I can't think of a way to keepnthem in like that. Otherwise they are great because they hang on and don't fall out.

Saw the bullet wireless 2 and it sounds impressive on paper but recently I saw a true wireless earbuds Blaupunkt BTW01
I want you guys opinion about these two earbuds, by reviews on Amazon or some other sites, Btw01 take around 2 hrs to full charge and last for 6 hrs which is kind of disappointing compared to one plus, but it has better balance in high and low with punchier lows compared to OnePlus.
So, above are on papers and reviews. What do you guys think, which one should I go for.

I was thinking about the OnePlus bullets but I found something else that is completely awesome. Anker Zolo Liberty true wireless earbuds. 8 hours, and with the charging case 100 hours. They sound amazing. Might consider them also. If you're looking for a truly great sounding completely wireless earbud, check out the NuForce Move. They are up for preorder on Massdrop.

They aren't the typical "OMG Moar BASS" sound that has sucked out middle frequency response and uneven and elevated treble. They do have plenty of bass, but don't sacrifice vocal or instrument clarity to get there, as they have a more neutral sound response.
I listen to blues, rock, metal, and electronic music, and I'd recommend these.
Otherwise, you have the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless and RHA TrueConnect which are also well reviewed. I haven't heard the RHA, but the Senns are pretty nice.

I haven't heard them, but ears I trust have done comparisons to IEMs I have heard or owned, so I do have a very good frame of reference. Specifically, the Massdrop Plus earphones and CA Andromeda. I owned the Plus which were very good (and which I lost/had stolen at the San Diego airport) and I can confirm were smooth operators. In this post he compared the Move to the Plus IEMs:

I've preordered mine based on those recommendations because I've been a member at SBAF for a long time, am friends with quite a few of the senior members, and I trust their ears enough to make blind purchases like this.

The Anker Zolo Liberty sound good, charge fast, case is easy to carry. I love them. I got them on an Anker promo for $50, but I think they're easily worth more than that.

Bump: For users looking at buying the OnePlus Bullet 2
The OnePlus Wireless are a pair I own and they may not sound the best but they were really convenient to use. Just remove the magnetic housings from one another and boom you were immediately connected to your previous device. The series 2 are a triple driver situation which should make things sound better and more than likely only improving on the aesthetics/design.
True Wireless Headphones(TWS) have gotten really far and the convenience alone helps break the bridge between wireless and wired usage. The sound of nearly all true wireless headphones in the $99 range are not going to compete well with the bullet 2s but from my own personal use. The first time I heard music through a decent pair of TWS, I just had the largest smile come across my face. It is incredible listening to music with nearly nothing in or around your head/neck area. Even now with over a 100 pair of headphones I find myself looking for my Airpods or Liberty Airs. Just my 2cents

I really liked the reviews on these and was just about to buy them and it said backordered until June 24th. Still thinking about it but really want something now before I go back to work offshore.

Those look pretty good too...Thanks I'll look into them and go from there. The Creative ones may still win because of the USB C port being everything seems to be moving that direction and it's nice to not have to deal with multiple connectors and cords.

I'm a big fan of wired headphones. Nevertheless, I have decided to explore what the 21st century has to offer finally and bought myself a new pair of shiny Bluetooth headset from EarFun, which is a producer of my new Bluetooth speaker Go.
Free or TW100, the new product from EarFun, is a decent alternative to the more powerful (and of course pricey) product from Apple. While the Cupertino's pride sells its product for a whopping $160 (it's Apple, duh!), EarFun is a more pocket-friendly, as their headset costs just $50.

Free uses almost the newest Bluetooth 5.0 to communicate with your smart device. The quality of the connection is satisfying. I have experienced some hiccup during my walk to work, but skips were very rare and short. According to the producer, the headphones work up to 15 meters from the source of the sound. This is a great result. I haven't tested it, because my flat is too small If I had to be picky, I would say that these headphones might have been a little louder, but the good sound isolation makes the music really easy to listen without a hearing loss.
The headset comes with a fancy case, which is also a charger. According to EarFun, one charge can give you up to 6 hours of constant usage and extra 24 hours stored in the case's battery. Headphones charge relatively quickly, and the case can be recharged with a USB-C cable or a Qi pad (I don't have one to test it). The device is also waterproof.
In overall, EarFun TW100 is a decent device and I can easily recommend it. 8,5/10. You can get it on Amazon.
